Update Oct 19th 2017. Seen my first amber trich today, as I'm getting older I can't see through my loupe to view resin glands, so my wife showed me how too view them through pictures. All I can say is wow! She was able to zoom right in on them to get a good look. Maybe I will have to get a computer to show these fantastic shots I will uploaded ASAP YOU HAVE got to see them gorgeous girls see ya soon peace and love my brothers.

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

Update 4/4/2022 (Day 50) These girls are starting to get big! almost 70 CM in height right now. It's been a week since I flipped them to flower. and it's only today I start noticing some small pistols shooting out. Might have to do some more defoliation it's unbelievable how fast these are growing in this setup with autopots. I purchased 2 Fans before this grow and they both already lost the oscillating function. I will not recommend these fans (GHP PROFAN+ oscillating monkeyfan 25CM 20W) supplier also told me they had much complaints about these fans and they would stop selling them as of now. Update 05/04/2022 (Day 51) Big Cleanup day Last time Lollipopping mostly all the way to the top sites. Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. This is the final week of nutes for the ladies! Time to flush her for the coming week. Also read that Purple Punch needs cold temps at night to turn color. Since I can't do that where I live, an alternative is to flush her with ice water. Giving that a try and will keep you guys updated.

Hey guys, I'm finally back with the true smoke report of this Skywalker OG Gelato Auto! This has been a wonderful experience growing this cultivar from Ganja Farmer Seeds. She's rocking a beautiful hard to describe aroma. Saying that she smells like sweet flowery berrys with earthy backtones won't describe how wonderful she smells and tastes. After a long 14 day dry and 30 plus day cure, she is leaving some sweet earthy tastes on the palette. Also, she formed some pretty dense buds that are pretty caked and I'm really happy with the end result. Thank you Ganja Farmer for hitting us with some really good genetics 👊😁💨

Since the second week I started doing LST on this strain. The plant grew very well, it was easy to train and had a very small amount of leaves, so I didn't defoliate it. Today I have done some lollipopping, taking off the branches that were too small. The buds start to grow in dimension and also start to smell. Also the resin production it's very good, if you try to touch the buds, your fingers will stick together.
