🌿 RS11 "B" - Defensive Maneuvers & Defoliation! 🛡️✂️ Let's go! Welcome to Week 13 for RS11 "B". After the thrips battle inside the tent, we are taking absolutely zero chances out on the balcony. Proactive plant care is the theme for this week! 📈 The Details / Progress Report: Preventative Strike: I had to bring out the neem oil and give her a thorough preventative spray. I definitely do not want what happened to the indoor tent to happen out here! If you look closely at the fan leaves in photos you can actually see the fresh droplets and residue from the spray settling in to protect the foliage. 💦🌿 Opening Her Up: To go hand-in-hand with the pest prevention, I got in there and did some much-needed defoliation. She was getting incredibly thick and bushy, so taking off some of that extra foliage really helps open her up a bit. This drastically improves the airflow through her center and ensures the neem spray can actually penetrate the entire canopy. ✂️🌬️ Vibrant Health: She took the pruning and the spray perfectly. As you can see from the wide shots, the leaves are rocking that deep, rich green, and her structure is looking incredibly strong. She is looking super lush, happy, and completely unfazed by the haircut! 💧 Next Steps: With her canopy opened up and a protective layer of neem oil applied, we are in a fantastic spot. The main goal now is to just keep her well-fed, monitor the leaves to ensure no pests try to bypass our defenses, and let her keep building that massive frame in the summer sun. From week 2 to 3 in flower the plant took off and almost shot itself into the light overnight. Upped the bloom nutrients to 36, interested to see how the plants handle it. I have maxed the height in the tent, reflector is on the top of the tent and the plants are 20 to 24cm away. Can't do much about the height so managing the heat between the bulb and plants.

11/15 A day early but need to sync up with the other grow WOW I mean seriously these guys are just huge! Good work Fastbuds They could take more feeding but then they would get TOO BIG! Han salido las 3, un 100% de éxito en el ratio. Han sido colocada en tierra en macetas de 0.6 litros, aquí las tendré 2 semanas mínimo máximo de 3. Controlamos en ph en cada riego a 6.2. Day 29: smelling stronger every day just tucking leafs daily Day 30: bent down more branches to 15" Day 31: plant is focusing on budding for sure will need water soon going to do plain water ph'd I think shes showing some signs of nutrient burn. Day 32: flushed with 2 gallons of ph water removed burned leafs Day 33: nothing new keeping a close eye on her Day 34: not growing much but seems to be budding still Day 35: she got up to 15" now some orange spots on leaf edges from over feeding

Por lo demás todo bien la temperatura no suben nunca a 30 grados ni baja de los 20 y la humedad no aumenta de los 55%.

Esta semana seleccionamos las plantas más adelantadas de nuestro cultivo, para colocarlas bajo la nueva luminaria Led LazerLite Pro 720 de The Pure Factory, con la potencia ajustada al 50%. Miramos de que las cuatro variedades estén representadas bajo el led y bajo las lamparas HID, de esta forma podremos ver las diferencias entre los dos sistemas. Seguimos con nuestra rutina de fertilización para la fase vegetativa Grow Soldier + Green Mystic by JUJU Royal y CALMAG de BioBizz. Al final de la semana, cambiamos el ciclo lumínico para pasar a 12/12 Floración.

DAY 27, most of the plants are flowering, LST works so well. I'm worried because some of them seems to have advance, I don't think the buds should be that big for their age, maybe the heat stress made them flowering faster ? Moreover, some plants have their lower leaves turning yellow, I don't know what it is, give them nutrients once every 2 watering and I'm being very light with the amount of nutrients. Ordered 2 cooltubes, one for each light, it will help to cool down the room, gotta pick them up at the store and use them today. DAY 33, I followed your advices guys and added a bit of each nutrients for their deficiencies, don't know exactly if it was Ca, Mg or N deficiency but I can tell how better they are ! Water pH between 6,2 and 6,5 with 3acid down, hygro 55%. Because of the lower hygro for flowering stage, temp is going higher, I'll try my best to take care of them because another heat wave is coming... Thinking about reducing the light time to 12/12

D15. We're starting the third week, and neither of the girls looks all that great. The first girl is more prominent but has twisted leaves and even one burnt leaf. On the other hand, the second girl is considerably smaller and has interveinal chlorosis. I think it is pretty clear that neither likes the new top-dressing. It's my first time using castings from this local worm farm, but I doubt they are at fault. Instead, I think I f*cked up with a top-dressing too "hot" for such small plants. We'll see what happens... ------------------------------ D17. The first girl is definitely looking better, and I "believe" the second one also does. There's still hope! I wouldn't be concerned if these were photos, but with autos, any hiccups during veg can be devastating. ------------------------------ D21. We're at the end of the third week, and things are looking up. At least for the first girl, she looks better daily, and her new leaves aren't twisted. On the other hand, the second one has been smaller from day one, and she still looks like a runt with pale leaves. There isn't anything to report since I have simply left them alone to do their thing. DLI set to 25. -----------------------------
