June 21: first day of summer and Tropicana Cookies FF is doing fine. Foliar spray in the morning of Extreme Blend, and potassium silicate to toughen the stems. Using Dr Bronner’s Peppermint soap as a wetting agent. Started a lazy compost tea this afternoon. Third tea so far this year. June 24: almost ready for the second round of topping. Likely tomorrow. June 25: video show second round of topping to make the manifold.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. 2/13/2023 - Day 42: Start to week 6. Overall the plants are doing good, except the weird tip curling and yellowing. Initially i thought it may be either under or over watering, but the soil seems good. Not too wet or too dry. Then I thought possibly nitrogen toxicity, but the leaves don't look overly green. I now think it may be heat or light related, so I lowered the power on the light and raised it up a few inches. I also lowered the temp in the tent a few degrees. It could also be the new soil is a bit too hot still, and I've been throwing the kitchen sink at them, so I plan to just water with plain water the next few times and hopefully they will grow out of this. Plan to add the trellis net this week and start spreading the tallest plants out. 2/14/2023 - Day 43: Added the trellis net and did some light defoliation on the lowest part of a few plants. Plan to do more of a major defoliation next time I water. Also, the new growth appears ro be doing better, so I think raising the light fixed the problem. 2/16/2023 - Day 45: watered about 3.5 gallons, which is about 5% of the volume of the bed. I'm pretty sure the leaf curl I was seeing was a combination of light or heat stress, and slightly too much nitrogen, which is likely from the foliar spayed I was doing. Considering this, I decided to add a few things to the water. I mixed in ThermX-70, Comfrey Extract, Yah-Whey, FishShit, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and BuildASoil Big 6. I also did some additional defoliating to allow for some additional light penetration into the middle of the plants. Just started bending the tallest branches under the scrog net as well. Let's hope the girls have a positive reaction. 2/18/2023 - Day 47: did my weekly IPM. Foliar sprayed with distilled water mixed with BuildASoil EM-5. Also, realized I made a slight mistake. When I turned the lights up the other day, I never turned the schedule back on, so the lights have been on for 3 days straight. Luckily, the plants are still in veg, and they seemed to handling it well. The Grand Prix 3 had some minor leaf curling on the edges of some leaves, bit otherwise they still look good. They are back on 18/6 now.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. It was a great week for the 5 mainlines, they are all close to 20 inches tall, with 8 mains, and I decided to flip them all to flower today on day 49. If the ladies double in height by the end of the stretch, they should be around 40 inches tall and my lights are at 52 inches so that would give me about a foot between the canopy and the lights. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients in about a week. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. What a pleasure to grow such beautiful plants. the buds are big and resinous, with strong gassy and fruity smell.

Week 8 flower : still flushing with ph water everyday the run off ec is 0.5 gonna keep flushing for another week . Finishing on 9 weeks The blue cheese I have 2 different phenos . 1 is very blue and weird shaped leaves and is nearly ready gonna give it till end of the week and do 48hrs on dark before harvest The other blue cheese is more green but has grown a lot bigger the colas are amazing it definitely needs another 7-10 days . Sunset sherbet this will be flushed for a few more days and left in dark for 48 hrs This is the first time using led lights and all the bad stuff I heard about mars hydro . I have to say I’m very impressed with what it’s done .

Day 99: New Week We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

Let’s go!!! Today is day 52 from seed , and we are officially in bloom stage😍!!! Not much of a change for this bloom schedule, everything will stay the same but instead of 3 tsps of grow and 1 tsp of bloom , we just turn that around to 3tsp of Bloom and 1 tsp of veg an we are good to go!!! I have moved to new pots two of the plants that already start Blooming. hope they do not stress to much. Also have applied bio neem for plague protección.

Bud formation is starting ... streatching is happening full swing.....frost already started on alot of the leaves.. organic gardening going good so far feeding kelp and molasses to microbes also bud candy for carbohydrates in amino acids using Big Bud also advanced nutrients connoisseur about quarter strength.... and trichome production is going very well for so early in flower also happy with the height of the plant it is about 20 in tall would have been happy with four or five more in but not a big deal inoculating with microbes and also Big Bloom for its organic matter

Three weeks into flower and things are moving along. I defoliated some of the lower branches and spread out a few branches here and there. Other than that it's the same situation as always. Nutrients are pumping and lights are beaming. Everything is running smooth and all is well with the world. Like some namaste shit going on around here at the moment. Could very well just be the calm before the storm...
