Back with another update! Trichomes have been forming on/around the buds this week and the smell has been growing in intensity. I’m really happy with this so far. According to the given advice, I removed most of the leaves in the first 30% and only the most necessary ones that were resting directly on buds and shadowing them, additionally. Since then, the plant has taken on a darker greenish tone, that’s almost shimmering blue. :) The stretch seems to be over as she only gained 4cm in length this week but that’s quite alright since I can’t pull the grow-light further up anymore anyways. Even though I know that too much change in lighting can be stressful for her, I’ve changed the plan a bit to better fit my own schedule and to reduce the humidity. Let’s see how she likes it.

The plants are growing very well, still no signs of deficiency. I started cooling the box at night 2 days ago and the colors are already appearing! I upgraded my LED panel to 600w F33, I was sure I was correct with 400 but I noticed that the flowers were not developing correctly The smells are really incredible, more and more marked! I have a little crush on the code red #1, a smell of strawberry candy, cream and syrup. the white runtz x Hollywood is very very special too! a very runtz smell, with a very marked smell of marinated ginger and lemongrass! very special, it's also the one that makes the biggest heads, incredible I did a big defoliation (schwazzing) a few days ago and they recovered very well. I moved the plants again, I'll put the locations below. Day 98 They doing fine. The slow girl is getting interesting. Her frostiness is changing suddenly and getting thicker in this two days.

The Guava Runtz has become exceptionally frosty this week, with thick trichome coverage spreading across both the buds and sugar leaves. The top colas are still in a strange transition phase, seemingly caught between bulking up and ripening, while the lower and mid-level buds appear further along. Overall the plant remains very healthy, I have now switched to Overdrive, and based on her current development I expect she will need at least another two weeks before reaching maturity.

Let’s dive into the details! Environmental Updates: A Chill in the Air 🌬️ This week, temperatures in the grow room dipped to around 21-22°C, with relative humidity (RH) holding steady at 65%. While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. First grow so don't really know what to expect but would say it's going pretty well. Weak smell when I take her out to water + feed, but otherwise don't notice it at all. She's really shot up since I started using nutes and switched to flowering, as well as giving up on a few of the lower leaves to focus on flowering. Now looking forward to watching the buds fattening up.

Flower: 61 days Oreoz from 3rd Coast Genetics is a gorgeous strain with super frosty nugs. The aroma has a nice kick of coffee with earthy undertones, complemented by a flowery, sugary finish. She is also covered in seeds from Father (Skunk #1 x Congolese) so the next generation is going to be very unpredictable.

I can see these are going to be much larger than the space, even though I only used 2 gallon pots. i’m going to have to top them all in order to fit them in one tent. They are just beautiful and healthy and perfect in every way except for the CBD because I dropped her when I was doing the transplant. 👍. 3/6 I mixed up 3 mL of silica into a gallon three separate times. Start Woche 6 Tag 35 ein wenig Entlaubt . Hinten Rechts ist mein Sorgenkind ...Sie hatte von Anfang an nur ein Keimblatt und war dementsprechend auch die Kleinste . Nach dem ich sie höher gestellt habe hatt Sie etwas nachgezogen , momentan ist Sie ungefähr 10cm kleiner als die anderen und dies war wohl der Grund der leichten überdüngung ! Aber alles wieder im Griff 😉😎

Shitty weather wooooooop, too cold and too rainy. they have been sitting inside mostly near the window with the CFL as support. Not ideal but I'd rather have less bud than rotten bud. That being said they are fattening up nicely. Trich show more milk and the occasional amber (only saw 2 to be honest). Lower nodes are still pretty clear and still have lots of white pistils. I am thinking 1 more week of feed then start the 2 weeks of flushing. Having a hard time watering them evenly with all the LST straps. Expecting a tiny watering can one of these days to get that even watering job.

Runtz is a very hardy plant, has a great structure that folds well. The buds are medium sized and insanely hard, full of resin. Even the bottom buds are hard and nice when you let the light through. I definitely recommend this strain
