Ive grown so many of these and still my favorite

Intermediate Results Overview This grow was intense! Setting up the grow consumed so much of my time and focus that I started slacking at work, and it took me a month to get back on track. But hey, what’s the point of a job if it gets in the way of growing? 😉 In the end, everything worked out, and I gained invaluable experience. This was my first grow using coco coir. At first, I didn’t get it, but then it just clicked! Now I’m hooked: "I’m here to stay." Coco is more controlled than soil, flushes easily, and you can introduce beneficial microbes, which thrive in it. My main takeaway from this grow? If you buy coco, don’t forget CalMag! Next time, I’ll definitely install HEPA filters at the intake. The amount of dust was insane, and the grow box pulls air like a vacuum cleaner. Watching the timelapse, you can see the box sucking in every bit of dust. I vacuumed the intake filters weekly. The plant was incredibly sticky, but that also meant it caught a lot of lint and fibers between trichomes, especially visible under a microscope. Smoking microplastics? No, thank you! --- On CO2 CO2 only works if everything else is dialed in. If the plant experiences stress from deficiencies or overfeeding, you can forget about it. Since CO2 supplementation requires turning off the exhaust fan, it’s hard to manage temperature and humidity. The plant releases so much moisture that RH jumps to 80% within minutes. It’s doable, but definitely a challenge. --- On Magnetic Fields No clue what’s happening here yet, but it’s fascinating! I’ll test again with a control sample. --- Nutrients Dreams do come true—I’ve tested almost everything Advanced Nutrients offers. It wasn’t all smooth sailing; their feeding charts need adjustments for your conditions, and you usually need to feed less than recommended. Overall, I’d say the nutrients performed 100%, and I see no reason to switch. I’ll stick with them for future grows. --- Strain This strain is reliable, though not the most productive. It flowered exactly as advertised and delivered a frosty finish. It tolerated all my mistakes like a champ—especially mold. Despite an abandoned SCROG plan turning the plant into a bouquet, there wasn’t a single mold spot, even in the densely packed lower buds that got almost no light. Zero mold issues! --- Aroma As advertised: pine, wood, and citrus. At first, I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but now I’m leaning toward bergamot. Bergamot with a classic weed aroma—a recognizable twist on the usual scent. During the grow, the smell was strong, but the carbon filter handled it perfectly. --- Flavor It’s too early to say, but the flavor is definitely there! Embarrassingly, all my past harvests tasted the same—like nothing. Just smoke. This one has a distinct sour taste. I’m excited to see how it develops after curing. --- Effect Too early for a full review, but I love what I’ve tried so far. The high lasts about three hours, with euphoria and relaxation. It’s the perfect evening strain. I’ve smoked a lot over the years, but I’ve never experienced true euphoria—until now. Guess I’ve been stuck with garbage and ditch weed before. 😅 It’s not a strain for productivity or chores, but it’s perfect for chilling, watching something, or chatting. No anxiety, just great vibes. It feels like having a beer after a long day: you relax, and life feels good again. --- Roots The roots were healthy—maybe too healthy! While the AirPot (20L) prevented root circling, it didn’t eliminate it entirely. There were dead zones at the bottom where roots circled around the perimeter. A dense root mat formed at the bottom (so dense you couldn’t poke a finger through it), which likely contributed to salt buildup. Breaking through that mat required more water, and I suspect this caused EC to spike 1.5x the next day if there was no runoff. Next time, I’ll mix some pumice with the substrate at the bottom, about 3–4 cm deep. --- Timelapse I only got the timelapse running after the switch to flowering, so it’s not from the beginning. Still, it’s an incredibly useful tool for understanding growth rates. I’ll definitely use it for future grows. Comparing yesterday to today is one thing, but rewinding a week to see how things were is game-changing. I recommend it! You can even use an old phone with a timelapse app if your camera doesn’t support it by default. --- What’s Next I’ve grown fat buds before, but I’ve always neglected curing. This time, I’m doing it by the book with full control. Drying in the grow box with RH controlled at 50–60% (averaging 55%) for a slow, even dry. Temps are kept between 20–23°C, with frequent venting to keep it below 21°C for terpene preservation. After 7–10 days, when small stems snap with a characteristic sound, I’ll trim and jar them with humidity sensors. For the first two weeks, I’ll burp the jars twice daily, then reduce to once daily for the next two weeks. After that, I’ll monitor the RH sensors and adjust as needed. I’ll share the details after curing is complete. After drying, I’ll weigh the buds, take photos, and share another post in a month or two after curing to report on the flavor and aroma. For now, I’m taking a breather, fine-tuning my setup, and preparing for my next grow: Wizard Trees - Zangria S1.

Start of week 5... Looking back at the first few weeks of veg, i never imagined that they would thrive this good in week 5 already! (Look back at week 1+2 for horror pictures) Whole of week 4 i worked on my climate control automation. I will keep the set up for atleast a week. 👽👉26/9 Big LST day. I got new supplies to manage the rest of the ladies properly. Topped another one ( 5/6 is topped) Cut just a couple of leaves. The crusty ones that did not receive light and the ones casting shadows over my lovely budsights. 👽👉27/9 Waterday* and recovery 2ml/L Bio heaven + fish mix / 6.4 PH 1.68 ECLetting them recover Humidity a bit higher during night because of watering, turned the temp up to match the VPD. 👽👉28/9 They look content, humidity a bit higher during night because of watering. 👽👉29/9 I am happy how you thrive, but they need some pruning/defoliation as soon as they have recovered from the stress training. 👽👉30/9 Did some defoliation, decided to flip to flower after their recovery. 👽👉1/10 They had a case of empty humidifier, resulting in high vpd for 7hours. Water day* 2.1xml/L Bio heaven + fish mix / 6.2 PH 1.75 EC 👽👉2/10 They look great, healthy and happy! Climate is back on point

Almost ready, want to give 1 more week for some brown trichomes. Super hard frosty buds. Smells super good. . Last few times watering with raw cane molasses or just water.

Ya visteis , cultivo fácil, de principio a fin, pocos errores una pérdida tan solo de 4 ejemplares y por dejadez. Pero enserio si todo se hace correctamente vais a flipar lo rápido que van y después lo buenas que están. Humedad en el secado por debajo de 45% y temperatura media de 23 grados. Hasta aquí es todo fumetillas, que paséis un final de año de lujo entre buenos humos.

Day 91 The plants are progressing beautifully through the flowering stage. Buds are now forming dense clusters along the main stems and side branches, with plenty of healthy white pistils. The trichomes are starting to become more visible under the light, giving the buds a nice frosty appearance. Overall, the plants look strong and healthy — dark green leaves, good structure, and no major signs of stress. I did some light defoliation this week to improve airflow and light penetration, especially in the lower areas. This should help the buds develop more evenly. Humidity and temperature have been kept stable to avoid mold or mildew issues. Feeding has been consistent with bloom nutrients, and I’m keeping an eye on runoff to make sure everything stays balanced.

BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. Comenzando la semana 4 de floración y a las nenas le dimos una bienvenida para que comiencen de lleno esta fase de engorde. Estos día bajamos a 2 riegos por día. Normalmente hacemos 3. Ya a mitad de semana volveremos a los 3 riegos. A las nenas le sacamos prácticamente toda las hojas de abanico, ahora tenemos muchísima más penetración en la planta. Quizás tengamos problemas de altura pero ya estamos buscando la manera de resolverlo.

Day15 of flower.

Well, my organic vegetables garden, in anticipation of growing weed has been at rest for twenty months. I started to amends with green manure from legumes and lawn mowing (expecially the last month, for ready availability of N). I've mixed 1 gallon of Vigor Plant Full (perlite, guano, peats) to improve drainage. All the roses around, the apple tree and the hedges were treated with deltamethrin so as to preventively reduce the population of aphids, whiteflies & red spiders. My vegetables & weed eventually will receive only spraying of nettle macerated. My girls spent the previous week outdoors night and day in their pots savoring the discrete temperature changes in my area. Now in the evening I will have to pay close attention to broadnose weevils and later to bedbugs. It will be a tough fight against the wind and heat. A whole week of full sun awaits them. Pineapple Kush shows strong genetics, she has tolerated very well strong wind and full sun (28 C° average temp) asking for watering twice a day. Maybe it will be the southern sun but she already smells slightly. 🤞

Began flushing her midway through week 8, buds aren't as full as I had liked but have struggled with rising EC levels during the whole grow which I will put down to being caused by an excessive defoliation at week 4 of flower that took too long to recover from.

📆 Week 4, 27 May - 2 June 2024 27-30 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 31 May - Cut small shoots off side branches. Placed trellis frame on DWC bucket. 1-2 Jun - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 This was a good week for Pablo. She is very vigorous and healthy. I only allow the main branches to grow, cutting off any side shoots at this point and she is responding well to this method of training. I will see how she looks after another week of growth. I placed the trellis frame on to prepare her for the scrog net in the upcoming week or two. 🍶 28 May nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 28 May feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.6 at 72 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 60%, DLI 25 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 12/2- All 6 are looking good. Keeping temp around 76 and RH 80-85%. Using a reptile fogger as a humidifier and I'm happy to report it works beautifully. 12/3- Going smoothly. Keeping soil moist and conditions right.

Day 58-21/06/22 one of the smaller ones looms ready gonna have a good look before lights out see if I can take her!!! Day 60-23/06/22 cut one down three was ready today! She’s only small but beautiful!!! . Day 62-25/06/22 all looking wonderfull not long now for some more to come down
