Going good so far, end of week 2 and roots are hitting the water on all plant. Topped 3 of 4 Plants at 5th node And the last one is a bit smaller so we will wait a few days to top it still. Changed the water in the system at end of week 2 and added Remo lineup at 3/4 strength along side UC Roots at 5ml/gal.

The trichomes on the Runtz are all milky and I'm getting some amber on the sugar leaves, I think the end is near 😁 The G13 is looking great and smelling wonderful, the buds are getting heavier and same for the GDP

Update week 2 of Bloom

Received TWO 5packs of rhino Ryder as freebies. Gonna grow these outdoors and see how they do. Gonna take advantage of socal sunshine. Only 4 out 5 sprouted. It’s old beans I think. So that’s a good pop rate. I think.

I had never done such extreme defoliation, I feel nervous to see the result, I hope this technique helps to increase the growth of flowers and not make it slower.

Strawberry 🥧 I feel like her milky trichomes were starting to turn a little amber on some of the more mature buds so I chopped her down.Indica dominant strain so I wanted to let her go as long as possible.Smells great I’ll update a smoke report after she dries and cures.I think I’m going to use the majority of this one for some Rick Simpson oil and see how she turns out :)

04/09 - Started minor defoliation. Shes getting too bushy and blocking bud sites and causing moisture spots. Will remove a couple of leaves every other day for the next week. 05/09 - Full res change. Realised I mucked up the ratio. Went 35ml Micro, 25ml grow, (Shouldve been the other way around, so added an extra 10ml grow), 15ml Bloom and 15ml Silica. EC 1.4, PH 5.7. Will keep an eye on her and add some additional grow if she does alright. 06/09 - Minor defoliation. Removed about 12 leaves total so far. LST to spread the canopy a little more. PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.4, Water level dropping. Seems to be stretching and pistils have begun to form! Responding well to the uptick in nutes from the res change. 07/09 - Leaf tucking, LST and took a leaf or two. Shes getting her stretch on for sure. PH stable at 5.8, EC stable at 1.4. Water level still dropping. 09/09 - After much deliberation, I ended up going for a fairly heavy defoliation session and am now going to leave her the hell alone until at least mid flower. I removed a large chunk of shaded leaves and bud sites and effectively ended up lollipopping her. I also removed all the old LST, and added a couple to pull leaves out of the way. The canopy remains largely unchanged, but shes much more airy now, and Im seeing far fewer damp spots where leaf perspiration has occured. Now to see if I can keep my hands off for a few weeks!

So, guys.. This is her first month blooming. 4 complete weeks has passed. Here we are for 2 more. Gave Her a super powerful egg shell fert (all powdered - Phosforium Whelthy.) 07/10/20 - We are in the middle of week 5. Thats the way they look like. For me a good number of buds and they are as dense as I thought they would be by this time. I think everything is under control despite some foxtails cuz the heat. Loving the experience.

This week has been descent, plants recovered just fine from the LST issues from before. Its like they never were really phased by it. and that's impressive for the strain it really can take abuse and grows well. I was away for a extended weekend and tossed in 1Gal of ph'd water to the plants and hopped for the best, So far so good. Will need to water them again tomorrow. Had a bit of burning on some leaves from the soil/transplant so its good to know the stuff is feeding em well. I really think the fulvic acids are helping them take in the nutrients as I'm using less of it compared to other grows with Gaia Green. I topped all the plants this week and this should set them back a bit in vertical growth. I think they will be ready for flip in a week or two, they should have established themselves in the new pots with all their roots by now. Maybe give them a bit more and then pinch them all into the SCROG net, Might need a 2nd net to support the colas if they grow really tall. Aim for week 10 flip as of now. Clones are also doing well, one of them dried out a bit more and can see the growth was stunted. I also gave away the 4th plant that was a runt, they will be keeping it in a window still till its time to transplant them outside in the spring and let it grow into a monster plant outdoors hopefully if it does not get stolen. Hard to tell what will happen to it. Lota dumbasses in their neighbourhood. Variété parfaite pour les débutants. Les plantes sont très résistantes aux chocs de température et d'humidité. Elles donnent des rendements satisfaisants et un goût agréable. La runtz a une odeur très sucrée, presque comme un gâteau, je n'avais jamais senti une plante avec une odeur pareille, c'est très agréable. Les plants étaient tous petit, 50 centimètres environ, et n'avaient pas beaucoup d'odeur pendant la floraison, c'est parfait si vous voulez être discret. Concernant les effets, on voit bien que c'est une souche 50% sativa 50% indica. Au début les effets sont euphorisants, elle provoque des rires, mais par la suite et donne un bon effet analgésique, parfait pour aller dormir, je n'ai pas trop de flow de pensé avec et c'est très agréable pour se détendre. J'ai obtenu 34g et 45g sachant que j'ai eu pas mal de problèmes.

Last couple of days... No watering from today, (Day 129) and the light will be switched off as well from tomorrow (Day 130) so I will harvest them approx on Day 132 or 133 on the 18th week :)
