August 22nd - most plants entering week 3 of Flower - Machupi’s Lady entering week 7 of Flower - huge rains overnite and this morning are setting a new schedule. There’s a couple plants that will need some defoliation after this big rain; Bud Rot is what I’m thinking to prevent and there are two plants well on their way ie ~ week 6-7 23rd - rain or shine, Machupi’s Lady gets a Haircut today. Defoliation is Needed 24th - after yesterdays defoliation of Machupi’s Lady, today the plants there were fed a mixture of Stress-reducing liquids; B-Vital - I defoliated PurpsBerry, Honduras x Panama and LSD nicely today, nothing really to remove from Panama Red. Other than just standing there in awe … lolo seriously. Each meter-long branch is filling with white hairs. - Panama Red is a long flowering strain and southern Ontario is not always weather-friendly in early - mid November! Let alone October, regardless its going to be a ridiculously fine and complex plant. Going to get it as far along as possible. Today I trimmed the dried harvest! Funny enough, the smallest plant actually produced the most beautiful buds – nice and compact with a gorgeous purple color. The aroma is intense and the buds are super sticky. In total, I ended up with 244 grams dry weight from three plants, which I’m really happy with for my first indoor grow. The next run has already started – can’t wait to see how it goes this time!

Both phenoe are pushing on nicely. Really good growth from both phenos from 1 seed, 1 had more girt. So, there wasn't an exact even growth ratio. But no pheno was hammered in any way that affected its push through pre fower and into mid fattening. I expect another 3-4 weeks and I'll harvest. Atm there's a nice Lemon exotic smell. Really dank. Musky (earthy). And popping off fruits. Really lovely set of plants. Xpert nutrients are bringing out the best in my grows. They smell, taste and pretty much everything in that regard has improved. These are my new nutrients. As hard as I've been strain hunting. I've always used a different line of Nutrients per crop. And I'm glad to say. These are by far THE BEST nutrients I've used to enhance my crop. Feeds Are pretty much a week in week out with change (all explained with my weeks, DLI and other factors), master root/enzymes have been pult. Master Root no longer needed. Enzymes are all gone. Maintenance This wk, i applied LST bamboo sticks are have done some basic node bending to get the best out of the space in the area above and around its base. We are almost at the magic moment, it is about to go into flowering and the vegetative phase is practically over in a few days. Our Purple Urkle by Zamensia is a very beautiful plant with a good internodal distance and is developing very very well. We have just done the last topping that brings her 16 tops, 16 small clones of the main cola that will come up I hope at the same time and all together and above all I hope that the cold will give us a great resin and a beautiful coloration. During the topping the use of nitrogen is a very delicate subject. The cuts of the topping slow down the plant and the leaves tend to grow bigger going a bit into over, it happened to her then you detach and it tends to discharge now we are at the moment that we are starting to give nitrogen again to then go into flowering. It is a process that must be nuanced very delicately. Ideally it is to start by preparing the soil with fertilizer and add if necessary. Compost tea this week, came out great, hit both plants with it. Height still growing quickly, used another round of bud clips to try and keep it down and even out the cannopy. Did some minor cleanup, some nodes not keeping up and in general anything below the third or fourth node down pinched off. Cleaned up the bottom and inside, will continue to do so weekly. I've left some stragglers on the outside but they'll get a lot more light exposure and couldn't bring myself to hack them off. Had some light rain and wind for a few days, but other then that perfect growing weather. Drip irrigation, Monster Maxx and silica as well as a weekly LCPT spray.

Bud rot got the one I left outside in the polytunnel , shame but the weather was terrible here.

pictures are taken last day of the 7th week since getting the seed if i didn't use lst, it would be 27+30 cm high (measured the horizontal main stem) i added molasses this time, for taste, instead of other booster besides the pk solution also i threw in some chicken fertilizer pellets in to add some organic power to the soil i like the taste of mineral, but my heart is with bio, so i use both somehow the flower is looking like it's wanting to finsh already. very nice experiment, instead of 18-20 or 24 hours of light for autoflower, i dd 12/12 from seed, guessing that the 7 proposed flowering time would be for the 18 minimum hours of light. I think it will be ready within that time, let's wait for that moment, whatever comes out is nice, her bud is starting to make me stare already...
