Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. great, everything is going really smoothly, @Zamnesia Runtz auto, copes perfectly with leaf spot and LST, started to bloom, so I think it will soon stop growing upwards, and I won't have to hurt it anymore :) @Plagron This is the first time I've used nutritional fertilizers, but I already understand that it definitely won't be the last :) good luck to everyone :).

My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.

Hulkberries are easy to grow. All seeds germianted, all Seedlings showed up and then they went into overdrive. Turned out as Big Plants, with sticky and dense Nugs on the COlas NO Training on them. Super structured Plants perfect Ratio from Leaves to Buds

03/01/22: All main colas and smaller colas have an abundance of white trichmomes - looking very well and are sticky. Defoliated for the final time and Lollipopped removing all of the bottom veg to promote bud growth. Pistils are still hairy - just waiting for them to flatten down. only a very few pistils throughout are turning brown - hopefully this will increase within the next few weeks. Overall I am happy with the way things are going - and should only be 2-3 weeks more til harvest.

Removed ScrOg, I’m too ocd and damaged two colas. Two weeks was enough to space. Wish I put it on two weeks earlier. Currently removing flarf sites.

5/07/24 day 15 I was worried with how small she is, I started her a little early for outdoor so she hasn’t been getting proper lighting but she’s not too far behind other plants at this age. Hopefully she’s set her roots deep and is ready to grow upwards 5/11 she’s loves the sun so much. I was worried about her but she’s gonna be fine 🌱 5/12/24 I gave her a tsp of Terp Tea Grow 711. This last week she had grown very well, she has 3 nodes total and is working on more

Recovered well from the defoliation on day 21 of flower. Pretty much plain sailing from now on as stretch has stopped and only need a few heads and maybe remove the odd leaf.

Day 15. Girls got dried up again, but i transplanted them !!! Now in one day they stretched, happy and all will go as diamond ! Think i lost one week at the end of grow with all those hiccups ... Pots 30 liters, were topped up with Biobizz All mix soil 80% and Biobizz Worm Castings 20% , each girl got 600 ml of water. Big pots sorted low humidity too , now i have too high even, but exhaust is sorting excess.. Light is working well, but ... coverage for 3 plants is impossible, so for veg i still with help of pot rotation will manage, later ill plug one of my quantum boards as extra. For two plants TS1000 would be perfect in veg, for flower still its one plants light. Money wise its a huge grab ! Less than 100£ for 150W with dimmer ... Honestly impressed with it , maybe next week i wont mention it , but .... ;))) Tent is doing her job too, perfect size for 2-3 plants, even 6 inch fan fitted perfectly ! Chocolopez going well, all damage left behind. Really want to taste final product, have only good memories with this lineage. Happy Growing !!!

J'espère que je perds pas mon temps ! 🤔
