Zealix is doing good. She has shifted more into flowering and is developing her Cola sites. Everything is looking good. I will likely do a solution change on her soon for a potassium rich diet for her flowering. Just cruising along still. I’ve moved a few branches here or there for even lighting but that’s about it. Trichomes are starting to become more prominent, especially in Pineapple Skunk, check out the photos!! Buds continue to bulk up here or there. I only see amber trichomes on sugar leaves and haven’t seen any on the buds yet. Most are still clear. Less than half of the hairs are orange so I think my schedule is still on track. I have 2 more weeks before the flush starts. I might start it early if I notice any one of them starting to mature. Since there are 3 plants and I want a single harvest day, I will try and time it so they are spread across the spectrum of early to mid harvest timing. Thanks for stopping by!

Tag 71: Die letzte Woche bis zur Ernte.

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.

AAAnd there you have it. A nice experience, my second time making seeds! I harvested the first day of week 15. A lot to say about this experiment. It came out awesome, lots of seeds (more than 100!) Wich I also tested and came out with the exact same phenotype. I added some more pictures of the outcome and of the seeds, cause I don't have much more data about the harvest! She's got really tall so far. She got some wind burn probably because the cold weather and the fan hitting the top fan leaves directly for a while since I lifted the lights a bit. She is growing several buds now and the nuts are doing a great work so far.

Well week 3 started on Monday, I'm late to the party, lol. Everything is going pretty decent so far. One surprise though...they have a smell. They didn't at this stage last time. Weird, lol. I gave them a slight trim and will be done with that until flowering. They seem very happy! ✌️❤️😁🍀🎶 EB

Going into flush this week for 2 week ph6 water with terpinator trichs are nice and cloudy hairs are less visible I think shes ready what do you guys think? a good week could do with a bit more swell buds are nice and dense pungent and extremely sticky frost is unreal looking forward to getting this girl down thanks for reading happy growing guys..

Did some defolination and lollipopping for some clones. Malasana Cookies, Bruce Banner and Cookies Kush. London Mint Cake is to short. Maybe i will pop next time an other seed. I dont show the clones. I will go for this run. Now i use Green House Feeding Hybrid instand of the Grow. Bruce Banner become some lst because its to huge. Lower topping next time. and maybe sog to all.

The buds are starting to form. The smell is strong when I open the cabinet, but with the filter, it doesn't smell. I corrected the deficiencies I had correctly. I defoliated a bit to allow good light penetration. I'll let you judge how they look now. I did a week of stretching, lowering the light by 1 hour each day.

Thought these girls had a lot longer to go than they did. They had some white pistils still so I hadn’t even checked trichomes. When I checked they looked how I wanted them, but I waited about 6 more days when the pistils had also went all orange. I think it was 7/1 that I took them down. They hung for 10 days in the dark at about 60/72 (couldn’t get temp down anymore). Then I got to trimming and also trying to get rid of any stupid hairs from the ninja cat incident. I got like 98%. With my phone camera I can see a couple I still need to get. Ugh. Never again. This weed is hairy enough on its own lol. Makes the whole thing look orange. Plant 1- 125g Plant 2- 113g Buds only. No trim counted

I know she yielded less than optimally, but at least she made up for it with a really unique effect. Got like 40 more seeds of this so I'm likely going to do some pheno-hunting come spring with how well she performed. Love the taste and the look of the plant. Really wish I had knowledge of the breeder so I could recommend it. But that's the risk you take with bag seed. Not giving her 10/10 because she stunted for quite a while when I got her started in soil. So she may not respond well with higher stress root-conditions.

Started the week with a big mid flower feed with NFTG. Also shaved her legs up a bit and defoliated some leaves blocking some light. She is growing tall for a indica and her leaves are more similar to a sativa imo but regardless she is growing very well! Spent some time just defoliating the girls last night, tried not to go too far but you get lost😂 Also did some Pruning/Lollipoping to Increase that airflow 💨 Happy so far! Stinking now
