w33dhawk Hello and a crisp high five to everyone! After a long consideration, I've now brought an update into the box, this time my plants' companion is the GCx 16 from Greenception. I hope I can handle it; this will be my first round with LED, so "if anyone has tips for me, bring them on!" Now, to the essentials: on May 18, 2023, my wife decided (from a selection of 5 different strains from Zamnesia) that it would be the frosted guava! So I got to work, got distilled water, soaked the jiffies in it, then lightly squeezed them so they weren't soaking wet, planted the seeds about 0.5 cm deep, and then drizzled the whole thing again from above with a 10ml syringe on the seeds, about 5 drops for each. After that, I placed them on a large plate covered with a plastic bowl to keep the moisture better (homemade propagator). Oh, and before I forget, a thermo/hygrometer is also under the dome. I heated the distilled water with a mini aquarium heater to 22 degrees Celsius before use. After 5 days, 4 ladies were already present, and the seed shell fell off without any problems. I then transplanted the ladies into a 1L rooting pot on day 6 since the taproots were already sticking out. More on that next week..... I'm looking forward to this grow with the seeds from Zamnesia; I've already grown some seeds outdoors from the company in a greenhouse (Larry Bird, Jack Herer) and was always satisfied with the genetics.... Wishing you all great grow successes, I wish peace ✌️ until next week!!!

w33dhawk Moin moin, and a crisp High5 to everyone! The first week is done, the ladies have settled into their transition pots and are doing really well there; they’re growing beautifully and rapidly. I planted the ladies into the rooting pots according to the Bio Tabs plan, meaning I sprinkled 0.5 grams of Mycotrex in the hole for the lady, put the lady in, covered it with soil to set it firmly, and watered with a solution of distilled water mixed with Bactrex and Orgatrex, about 330 ml per lady. In the first few days, I felt like the ladies weren’t really coming along, but on day 3 after transplanting, I could see progress every day.
Regarding my new LED lamp, I had the lamp too close for the first 2 days of veg, starting at 40 cm, but I felt like it was growing very slowly and forming very dense nodes, so I raised it, and lo and behold, the distances are getting a bit longer. I’ve settled at 55 cm now and will probably keep the veg at that height. The handling is about the same as with a 400 watt HPS/MH lamp, I think (at least that’s how it feels right now), but I actually think the ladies look nicer under the LED than under an HPS/MH lamp. However, to say anything more precise about that, I’ll probably have to wait a few more weeks. I’m definitely satisfied with the current progress and look forward to seeing this grow through... Wishing you all a wonderful weekend with lots of 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 for your ladies!
Oh, and this morning my carbon filter failed, so I have to spend more money again 😂😂.....

w33dhawk Hey hey, and a crisp High5 to everyone! There’s not much to say, just water twice a week with about 330 ml per plant, only water with pH set to 6.5 using Green Buzz Nutrients organic pH powder. Otherwise, just sit back and watch the ladies grow. Of course, remember to adjust the lamp distances regularly. Have a great rest of the week!

w33dhawk Hi ho you growmies, not much to report since the ladies didn't have any more space in their 1L pots and the stems and trunk were already deep red/purple on all 4 plants. I've decided to put the ladies into their final pots now since the root system was clearly too big for the girls. More on that next week... I topped the ladies this week and trimmed them from the bottom up; they reacted well to it and I was able to form the T shape already. I did slightly tear the branches that are close to the trunk, but luckily the ladies have enough time to process everything and thicken the branches (if you zoom in on the pictures, you can see it too). Otherwise, nothing else this week. CU and see you next week!

w33dhawk Hi ho you growmies, I hope you’re all doing well! I hardly had time this week to take pictures, so the photos before the second topping are missing. I topped the ladies for the second time on 06/22/23, defoliated, and applied LST to keep the canopy even. I decided to use the manifold technique from Nebula (I had the choice between the version from Nugbucket, who developed the technique, or the one from Nebula, who simplified it) and I went with Nebula... here’s a link to Nebula's technique that also explains Nugbucket's technique and why he does it differently:
https://www.growweedeasy.com/manifold
All the ladies are doing well so far, but with #4, I accidentally broke one of the side branches due to a silly mishap. I secured the mainlining over the pots by pulling wire from one side to the other and held the soft plant ties to the plant, which caused the problem that when I moved the pots, I pulled on the branches. When I wanted to pull the plant forward the next morning after forming the base, I carelessly pulled on the pot and snap! Cleanly separated. After that, I cut the wires on all the pots and am now using hooks that I stick into the soil; they are safer for handling and hold the ladies well. With Lady #4, I had to come up with something; I bent her back again, and nodes 1 and 3 stayed like the others, so now she has 4 instead of 8 arms (I just need to figure out how to keep everything even). The other 3 ladies have handled the trimming, topping, and LST well so far and have 8 arms like a little octopus. I’ll let them grow for about 3 weeks and then switch to flowering; of course, LST will continue. Wishing you all a wonderful rest of the week!!!
Edit: Regarding the specifications of the Bio Tabs products I mentioned above, the amounts are always calculated in grams, e.g., 100g Startrex for 20L of soil, 5g Mycotex in the hole, 3 tablets for one lady, then water with Orgatrex 5ml/L water and Bactrex 1g/L water, watering each plant with 1L...
w33dhawk So this week was once again a bit of a trim because the ladies, especially the one in the front right, are very bushy, and I wanted to increase the airflow around the plant. Other than that, not much happened, just adjusting every 2 days to keep everything even...... One more week of veg and then switching to 12/12.🤙

w33dhawk Hey growmies, and a crisp high five to everyone!
This week was the last week of veg, everything is going great so far. I've now prepared the plants for the flowering phase by removing fan leaves and any growth that isn't relevant since it's growing downwards. Other than that, not much is happening. The ladies are getting 3L of water every 3 days; they're pretty thirsty. Here and there, a little LST to keep the canopy even. Starting next week, it's 12/12 light schedule...!

w33dhawk Hey everyone, this week I switched the ladies to 12/12, everything is going according to plan so far. The only lady that worries me is the one in the front right; she's growing very, very bushy and seems to have inherited a bit more indica genes, which isn't really a problem. All the plants are doing well. I messed up the switch to 12/12 by one day; I usually do it at the end of the week on Thursday, so I switched on Friday instead. I set it to flowering and forgot to adjust the timer. I realized that in the evening when the light was still on, even though it should have been off. So, I had it on 18/6 for that day and only switched to 12/12 on Saturday, which means the end of the week now shifts to Fridays. (I'm just too stoned these days, and I mean these days! Actually, always 😅😅) At the beginning of this week, I gave 20ml/L of orgatrex and 1g/L of bactrex, but only 500ml of that solution to the base. For the solution, I use distilled water so that the bacteria are gently introduced to the medium. When watering normally without nutrients, I use stale tap water, which has a pH of about 7.8. I lower it with pH down from GBN (Green Buzz Nutrients) to a value of 6.5, which has been working great so far! The soil life seems to be extremely healthy, the plants are growing well and robust, showing a rich green color, and so far, there are no signs of pests, deficiencies, or nutrient excesses. I'm not entirely sure about my lamp; I currently have it running at 75% power for flowering because I'm worried that if I go to 100%, my ladies will definitely get light burn. So, I have to estimate whether to stick with 75% and gradually increase or go to 100% and stay at about 60 to 70 cm. I don't know exactly what to do or rather what would be better... Well, that's it for the week!

w33dhawk Hey hey. I hope everyone is doing well, the grow is going smoothly, the ladies are thirsty and have good growth (stretch). I had to correct the arms of the ladies here and there to keep them at the same height, now the tent has gotten pretty full and I can't pull them out any further, so I'm letting them grow now, I still have a bit of space upwards. Over the week, I've been slowly raising the ladies to 50cm distance from the lamp, as of yesterday, July 27, 2023, they are exactly at 50 cm. Next week, I'll do the same to lower it to 40 cm. Oh yeah, before I forget, I decided to keep the lamp at 75%, which is still 360 watts of LED power that lights up the square meter quite well, so I should be able to treat the lamp like a 400 watt HPS. I also got an app for my phone to get ppfd values, but those things are less reliable than the dealer from the street 😂😂😂 so I’ll be getting a measuring device like that next year. Otherwise, there’s not much to tell, have a nice weekend!!!

w33dhawk Hi you growmies, as always, not much to report. Midweek, I defoliated the ladies, cutting off about 1/3 of the plant from the bottom. By the end of the week, I brewed the first compost tea, and I would say it's going pretty well! The first trichomes are forming on the sugar and fan leaves, and it's starting to smell. Otherwise, not much happening with the ladies. Wishing you a great week!

w33dhawk Hey everyone, grow sport friends! I know I'm late, but as you can see, it's going well... I don't even know what to write, the smell is getting more intense, my carbon filter can barely keep up with filtering, the scent is that extreme! Slightly sweet and somehow fresh, but not floral fresh, more like a fruit that's not overly sweet with a hint of diesel, I would say. Other than that, there's not much to report. Pictures say more than a thousand words!

w33dhawk Moin moin you growmies, halftime has been reached 🤙 the first 35 days of flowering are over and all without cal/mag deficiencies. So many people advised me to start adding cal/mag from week 3 since the ladies often suffer from cal/mag deficiencies under LED, but I haven't added it as a supplement so far. Although if you think about it, the PK 5-8 contains cal/mag, but I was so scared that I would run into problems during flowering that I was just waiting for deficiencies in the last few weeks. But so far, everything is in perfect order. The plants are making daily progress, whether in density, resin, or scent; everything is increasing daily, which makes my grower heart beat faster. At the beginning of this week, I lightly swung the scissors again and did a little defoliation; otherwise, I just let the ladies do their thing. That's it for this week, have a nice weekend!

w33dhawk Hey ho you growmies, as you can see from the pictures, the ladies are doing great! They are getting fatter day by day and are already well covered in trichomes. The smell totally reminds me of slightly sweet melons with a hint of diesel and an extremely classic cannabis scent that is so intense that after I closed the tent, I still have it stuck in my nostrils at least 1 hour later (the smell). And when it comes to stickiness, it's like a 2-component glue so sticky that if you just touch it, you'll have sticky hands by the evening no matter how many times you wash your hands (I ran out of cleaning alcohol😂). Other than that, there's not much to tell.... Until next week, and good luck with your grows! cu!

w33dhawk Moin moin you growmies!
This week has been really great in terms of development, the ladies are getting fatter and fatter. The only thing that worried me was that as the buds gained weight, the branches started bending sideways and inwards. That's why I decided to install my SCROG net frame and attach the branches to it so they don't shade each other or, worse, break. I know it looks like crap, but it helps. I'll swing the scissors lightly again next week so that even the lowest buds have a chance to mature. Other than that, not much happened this week 😂👍 I have to say I'm really impressed with the Bio Tabs range, super easy to use, and choosing to manage the pH with Green Buzz Nutrients was definitely the right decision. The two products work perfectly together. I mean, the pictures show that it works and it's so easy....! I hardly had any work with fertilizing and still, in my opinion, so far, it's a bomb result. Wishing you all a great weekend and happy growing!
Hi, thanks for using our completely organic liquid fertilizer line. If you have any questions about the products, just send me a DM. Best, Mia from Greenbuzz
Great start with the GCx16! I only have the GCx9 for my m² because the 16 wasn't available back then.. However, I have to say that I'm more than satisfied with the light. Beautiful genetics. I'm already looking forward to the results. 💪
