Day 42 – the girls are deep into flowering now, and they're looking amazing. Buds are really starting to fatten up, and there's a noticeable frost forming on the sugar leaves and top colas. The smell is getting stronger too – sweet and fruity from the Zkittlez side, but with that strong, earthy undertone you’d expect from Gorilla Glue. Ive got some problems on the leaves because i forgot to water it . Stretch has pretty much stopped at this point. They've settled into full bloom mode and are putting all their energy into stacking. I did some light defoliation a few days ago to help with airflow and get light to the lower sites – seems to be working well. Feeding every 2–3 days now. Smell is picking up quickly. Can’t wait to see how frosty they get in the next week or two

Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

This week just water from the autopots and a soil soak with some bio enhancer . Plants are really starting to smell now . Resin production on the Rado z is insane. Sadly they did not make the cut for the next drop. Happy to have been able to test them. I think they look and smell great.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Flush time for divine storm and mandarin dreams. These ladies are frosty and sticky AF! Just insane how sticky they are and the frost is like light snow, my camera just doesn't do it justice. Since my plant is sativa dominant, I decided to abandon the use of Hybrids and change the base fertilizer to GHE. I use Root Booster and Diamond Nectar exclusively in the form of a spray on the leaf, so that organic matter does not shorten the life of the solution. Mister small has built up root power and copes with abundant watering more easily. I water it 2 times a day for 10 minutes. After watering the PH solution grows slightly, I let it balance between 5.5 and 6.2. I also updated the first post in the report. Added information about my system and lighting!👽

Day 43 - Starting week 7 and gave her the first feed of the week. She’s still stretching but she’s starting to fill in quite a bit too. Starting to have a pineappley scent to her as well. Day 44 - For the most part, all looks pretty good. I did spot a couple leaves that look like there may be some sort of deficiency but trying to research and figure it out. It’s only on a couple leaves so not really spreading. Checked for any sort of bugs and nothing. Hopefully I can get it figured out and turned around. Day 45 - Gave her a full feeding of straight pH’d water and upped the cal-mag a little to see if maybe I have the start of a magnesium deficiency. Got advice from someone on a different site so we’ll see if this is corrected. She’s really starting to fill in more and more each day. Not a very strong smell coming from her right now but my fingers smell amazing, pineapple/citrus after doing some leaf tucking and I love it. Just for shits and giggles, I did a test of the runoff and measuring out at 6.7, just like what’s going into her so thinking that’s a good thing. Looking forward to the next and final few weeks. Day 46 - All looking good I think! Upped the cal-mag and bit and noticed one more leaf that was off. Everything else is looking green and healthy and the buds seem to be filling in and starting to fatten up nicely. Day 47 - Gave her the last feeding of the week and she starting to really fill in and fatten up. Starting to get pretty frosty and smelling wonderful! Day 49 - Good lord she’s starting to really smell amazing, tropical citrus. Can not wait to chop but still got some time. Will start the week 8 feeding schedule tomorrow, letting her really dry out.

Hey guys so been a few weeks since my last update all is going well . My lemon ak girls are in full flower now and are fattening up real nice 1 more good feed in a few days then i start flush them until finish up . The remo chemo is a monster done some supercrop and topping over last few weeks and building her shape , the blueberry ghost og was topped other day and will start fatten out over next few weeks will repot once auto are finished up and veg for a few week to get some good size gokng before swap flower . I got my benificial insects some thrip and spider mite slow release pouches this week had a outbreak whiteflys killed a few my herbs kitchen so i prevent ratherthan using sprays or chemicals ,i have lady bugs coming this week aswell to manage my pest control . All look good and will update asap . Peace out 👌

Day 28 flower, things are doing well, humidity and heat are stable, plucking off leafs as I go along now anything blocking bud sites. I'm on week 7 of the biobizz feed schedule full dose, these girls not showing any nute burn or stress so far either I could probably push them more. Day 33 from flip. Heat and humidity are under control. Sitting at 27°c and 40-47% humidity with lights on. And 20°c and 47% humidity lights off. Ph levels on feeds and watering is 6.5, there really loving the biobizz range and the marshydro tsl2000 combo. So today the plants are getting fatter and nice and dense. Its super sticky and stacking on trichomes. These 3 beans came from The same pack, and each one smells diffrent. Closest pheno is a really lemon citrus smell and its strong. Middle pheno is like a sherberty smell and really tickles the 👃. Pheno 3 at the back is like a lemon skunk, really pungent and its got the fattest buds so far too. Day 34 flower, Feeding molasses today in 6.5ph water, I will start the next week tomorrow and will be starting on week 8 of the bio bizz nutes schedule. Thanks for all your support so far. 8/29 Knowing I was going to have to yo to the hospital er again this morning with my wife I got up early and watered. We are supposed to get an inch of rain tomorrow but the bags were totally light. If I was going to be around I might've held off watering. Instead I watered everything one gallon and figured the rain will make up for the other 10 percent hopfully that will do it. 8/30 Rained overnight. Plants were soaked. Flowers are swelling. I defoliated a shit ton of yellow leaves the other day. I still don't think I have anything fungal but I'm keeping an eye u e out and am considering doing an application of plant doctor. We are suppised to get an inch of rain tonight and tomorrow I guess. My biddy said i shouod cover my plants because next week is going to be "great growing weather" but with the rain and then the sun it could be a recipe for disaster since I have some large flowers. I got my father's leaf blower running but it was leaking gas. Brought it to the repair shop and a buddy let me borrow his for thus storm. I and hit the plants with it this morning. It is super strong though. I need to be careful not to blow it right out of the bag!!! Or break branches. Of course after u left it started raining lightly. A nice rain that plants like but it's stopped. I'm wondering if I should go over and blast them again to keep them dry but I know it's going to rain off and on and it'd going to rain tonight. I'll check the weather and decide from there. So far things are going good. Still have some yellowing leaves and a few normal pests but that is to be expected. UPDATE: Stopped raining so I went over and shook off the plants then put the leaf blower to them. I made sure to get the interiors before I went and had shook things again by hand. Storage us low bur i took a video. Cant upload toll tomorrow. Buds are growing at an insane rate but im losing some fan leaves that just yellow and die. Im sure its senescence but its still wortisome. We are supposed to have a real good week of growing weather coming so I hope that doesn't change. I'll update tomorrow. That leafblower works awesome though. 8/31 Went over to an extremely sunny windy morning. I didn't even need to shake plants or use the leaf blower since I did it after it Rained last night. I'm worried the wind night dry my bags out today so I'll be sure to keep an eye on them. I defoliated a shit ton of leaves but apparently it's just senescence. I need to check the last time I fed. Trich development is going good. The smell was incredible this morning! Each strain has its own unique smell to it. We are supposed to have a real good week for growing so I'm looking forward to it. May do a preventative plant doctor app but I think it will be alright. I'll keep this updated. UPDATE: Went over around one and plants were bone dry. The wind was RIDICULOUS! I added a few individual stakes and tied a couple loose branches. I got my tarp out and considered covering the cagecto protect from the wind. However I didn't have time to sanitize if and they had already been through it all night and day alwuth no breakages. Plants are strong and supported well. At least I hope. Plus the tarp would block the rest of the direct sun the plants are getting right now. The wind looked like it dud its worst and the trellis and supports held. I did add extra supports higher up the plant to prevent breakages. Found a moth larvae (yellow) and squished him. Also found some aphids but a few lady bugs and three lady bugs larvae so I think I'll be OK. I am really excited for this year. Flowers are really exploding! FORGOT TO PUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. WATERED EVERYTHING TWO GALLONS EXCEPT THE 10. WHICH GOT ONE. 9/1 Forgot my phone on the daY I really needed it. It rained last night. The wind was the strongest i've seen in years. I would've tarped the cage but i couldn't find any of the bungee cords or zip ties. Probably good I didn't. No breaks. One plant had dark brown splotches ALL over the leaves! I picked them all off and took pictures and will consult my commercial buddy. I researched and asked a question on here. If it's septoria or something that could ruin my gorgeous garden I'd rather just junk the plant. It's big but it's the furthest behind flowering and I would not be heart broken if I had to get rid of that for the others. This week is supposed to be the best week we've had all summer so I'm expecting major growth. I'll update after conferring with other growers and making a decision. Looking online it seems like it could just be lack of nutes with the co dictionary we've been having. It IS time to feed and I haven't been feeding much. We'll see what he says. I WAS THINKING ABOUT DOING AN APPLICATION OF PLANT DOCTOR BUT SINCE IT WAS SO FEW DAYS DURING THESE CONDITIONS IM GOING TO WAIT AND MONITOR THE PLANT. I DEFOLIATED ANY LEAF THAT WAS SUSPECT. FOUND AND KILLED A BUD WORM. I THINK THEY ARE STILL DIEING FROM THE BT. IT WAS LIKE STRETCHING UP FROM THE TOG OF A BIG NUG LIKE, "HERE I AM COME OUT ME OUT OF MY AGONY." ALSO FOUND LADY BUGS AND BEETLES AND THEIR LARVAE. IVE SEEN TGE VERY LOWER SECONDARY BRANCHES GET STRIPPED ON A COUPLE PLANTS BUT THATS WHY I LEFT THEM THERE. IF THEIR ARE EARWIGS THEY CAN HAVECTHE SHIT THAT I WAS GOING TO LOLLIPOP ANYWAY BECAUSE THATS WHAT THEY USUALLY GO FOR. THEY ARE DEFINATELY STRAIB DEPENDANT TOO. THEY LOVE ANYTHING BLUEBERRY BUT DONT TOUCH THE REST. MAYBE THERE IS JUST A COUPLE IN "THAT BAG". ILL HAVE TO GO AT NIGHT AND CHECK. IM EXCITED. MY FLOWERS ARE EXPLODING IN SIZE AND TRICHOME PRODUCTION. PLANTS SEEM HAPPY AFTER I FEED SO MAYBE I SHOULD UP THE FEEDING SCHEDULE. SINCE THE SOIL WAS ALREADY MOIST AND IT RAINED YESTERDAY I FED WITHOUT WATERING. HOPFULLY THAT WILL BE OKAY. I'VE DONE IT BEFORE. Went back over at six and WOW! After this nice sunny day buds have swollen. Plants seemed to love the nutes. I think the nutes in my soil are fairly depleted so I just needed to adjust my feeding schedule. I didn't notice anymore calcium deficiency looking spots and I had defoliated a lot of leaves. Super excited moving forward. Pistols are changing color on one 10th p phenome and retracting into buds. This is is the fun time. As long as I can avoid the rot. 9/2 Says it didn't rain last night but my plants are dripping wet. If course the leafblower kept dying so I had to shake everything by hand. Hope that's good enough. Gonna be real sunny. Bags still had some heft to them. I'll check them later. Found a few leaves with what looks like the calcium deficiency on the sane plant and I just removed them. I really don't think it's anything to worry about. I'll update later. UPDATE: Went back around 10 and everything looked good and was dry. Brought the leaf blower to be fixed. Should have it by the end of the day. Found and killed another pillar and some ants. Took a picture of a lady bug/beetle. This sunshine is making my buds explode!! I was thinking about checking again tonight but I think I can wait and water tomorrow. Bags are still fairly heavy. I did take another couple leaves off the plant that lopks like it might have a deficiency or something. The stalks are bigger than the bottom of a baseball bat. A couple almost like the fat end. Some 9f the best plants I've grown. I also took three short videos of a plant of each strain. Maybe if it's short it will upload quicker. Happy growing! UPDATE: I was back and forth today. I did some pruning and defoliation and then I noticed that my canary was light as hell. I waited until night and went back and had a couple starting to droop so i watered everything 2 gallons except the 10 and tub got 1. Everytime I see them it seems like they are bigger 9/3 Used the leaf blower this morning to get the dew off the buds. I shook them by hand before that. I'm noticing like a little army of lady bug larvae so any aphids I have are not going to be a problem. I have adults as well but is the babies that eat 10x what the adults do. I'm hoping they'll wipe put any bud worms. The weather is great this week all sunny. Making the buds explode in size and increasing terp production. This is the strongest smelling cannabis I've grown. Each strain. Has its own unique "funk" to it. Purple punch is really sweet and floral smelling. 10th planet is more gassy. I need to get some yellow sticky traps. I saw a couple fungus gnats on my canary. A late blooming blueberrycheese. It's the one that dries out the fastest but is more sativa leaning and drinks TONS of water. I have two that are that phenome. Losing yellow leaves but exploding with flowers. Noticed a couple more leaves with that calcium deficiency looking leaf. I just defoliated it. I'm really happy where I'm at right now. 9/4 Plants were covered in water this morning and the leaf blower wouldn't start. I shook everything off by hand. Each strain hasits own STRONG unique scent. One tenth planet phenome smells like bubble gum. I think I've got like two weeks and some of the flowers on ONE plant should be done. I'm planning to take the top half and then letting the bottom mature longer of its not whete I want it to be. The weather has been gorgeous. Sunny today. I'll need to water tonight I'm sure. UPDATE: WENT OVER AT 3PM AND PLANTS WERE DRY. WATERED EVERYTHING 2 GALLONS BIT THE 10 AND THE TUB. THEY GOT ONE. FLOWER DEVELOPMENT IS VISIBLE FROM MORNING TO NIGHT. I HAVE A TENTH PLANET THAT I BELIEVE WILL BE READY FOR HARVEST (AT LEAST THE TOPS) WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS. PISTOLS ARE RETRACTING AND TURNING ORANGE ON THIS PHENOME AND RED ON THE OTHERS. I AM LOVING HOW THIS STRAIN LOOKS GROWING. I HAVE REAL HIGH HOPES FOR IT. I FAILED TOO MANY TIMES UPLOADING THE VIDEO AND PICTURES I TOOK SO ILL DO THAT TOMORROW. El día 31 de floracion cambio las 3 plantas traseras de posición para el moldeo lumínico. El día 35 ya han dejado de crecer por lo tanto les hago la última defoliacion. Han crecido y ramificado bien, veamos cómo engordan. Empiezan a producir bastante resina/tricomas. Han terminado todas entre 90-105cm, menos una que se ha quedado en 80cm, aunque no es problema.

Week 9 of flower and these girls are almost ready to be harvested. They all smell amazing and are extremely sticky and resinous. Should get a decent size harvest of this strain I'm excited to trim these plants up and put them in their curing jars.
