3rd week

In dieser Woche hat sich sehr viel getan , die Blüten sind herangereift und haben nochmal etwas an Volumen dazu gewonnen.😍 Der Geruch ist sehr stark und die Terpene intensiver geworden. Es sind vorallem, Benzin und süße Düfte wahr zunehmen 🍬⛽️ Der Runtz Teil überwiegt leicht . Die Skywalker OG Runtz Auto brauch nicht sehr lange um die Blüten auszureifen. Deshalb habe ich hab dieser Woche, begonnen die Pflanze mit Flawless Finisch zu spülen und so auf die Ernte vorzubereiten 🍁🙌🏻

Day 21 of flowering did defoil the lady’s. No hermaphrodite showing up. Did a compost tea today. Corn is sprouting for tea. Did covercrop to get some fresh greens for the hcompost after the run. The buds are stick as fuck. Looking forward for the next and last defoil in week 5.

Auto banana kush has been growing well under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She got a solution change a few days ago. I been keeping up on the lst, and selective defoliation. I clipped the tips of her roots to promote a more dense root growth. She looks like she will go to flowering very soon. Harvesting my fist plant this week. I've read that stopping watering before harvest will increase resin production. You can see that most leafs on the bottom right plant turned yellow. Most of its trichomes are cloudy with a few amber ones here and there.

Harvest & Trim Report — RollerCoaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Overview We’ve reached the end of the RollerCoaster Haze ride. After an intense and rewarding flowering period, the girls were harvested and processed with care. This is a full documentation of the final stage: harvest timing, drying method, trimming workflow, kief collection and pressing, and final yields. This harvest produced excellent results from two phenotypes — a true tribute to the genetics and the ecosystem we built around them. Final dry yields: • Pheno #3: 138 g (dry, trimmed bud) • Pheno #2: 224 g (dry, trimmed bud) Total dry bud: 362 g We also collected kief and pressed it into a beautiful resinous hash using heat and pressure; this sits alongside the cured flower and will be part of the upcoming smoke review. ⸻ Harvest Timing & Rationale The decision to harvest was made after careful observation of trichome and pistil development, the overall fade, aroma intensity, and the plants’ finish-line behaviour. The last weeks of the run had been dedicated to ripening: we completed the last balanced feed, then transitioned to plain water and a spectral end-season program (reduced whites/blues, elevated red/far-red/UV). These cues — combined with visible trichome development and the natural fade in the canopy — indicated the plants were ready to come down. ⸻ Cutting & Whole-Plant Drying • Each plant was cut whole and hung to dry intact. • Drying duration: two weeks (full-plant hang), at the environment you maintained (consistent conditions around your final stage set point). This allowed a controlled, gradual loss of moisture and preserved aromatic compounds and trichome integrity. • Drying environment was monitored and managed with the same attention as the grow: consistent airflow, humidity control and gentle circulation to avoid hotspots while preventing too rapid desiccation. (Notes: this section is a narrative of what i did. For clarity on local rules and safety, always follow local regulations and recommended practices.) ⸻ Trimming Workflow • After the two-week hang, the plants were moved to a dedicated trimming area and placed in the trim bin for processing. • Trimming method: primarily hand trim, using delicate, precise trimming tools and patience — “delicatessen and love” as i put it. The emphasis was on preserving trichome-rich surfaces while shaping each bud for appearance and even curing. • Hand trimming allowed you to selectively manicure the buds, remove the remaining larger fans, and leave the finished colas in a state ideal for curing and later consumption. The results were clean, visually appealing buds with intact resin heads. ⸻ Curing & Storage • Trimmed buds were carefully placed into Grove Bags for the finish of the cure. The Grove Bags are being used as the controlled environment for the slow biochemical processes that refine aroma, smoothness, and terpene expression. • The plan is to allow the flower to finish its cure under stable conditions until ready for the smoke review. This prolonged, stable cure should bring out the nuanced haze profile the genetics promise. ⸻ Kief Collection & Resin Press • While trimming, kief was collected from the trim and from screens. The kief was then pressed into a concentrated resin/hash using heat and pressure. • The result is a solid, aromatic hash — glossy and packed with the strain’s signature terpenes — a beautiful secondary product from the harvest and a perfect complement to the flower in the smoke review. ⸻ Sensory & Quality Notes • Aroma: intensely hazy — a dominant hay-sweet note with mature, layered complexity. The smell in the drying/trim room was strong and very characteristic of a classic haze. • Appearance: colors trending golden to warm yellow tones, heavy frosting of trichomes, dense calyxes and robust colas. The buds visually convey potency and quality. • Structure: each phenotype expressed the haze identity; long internodes on some branches, dense stacking on others — overall excellent structure that translated into heavy colas and great yields. ⸻ Recap: Seed → Harvest at a Glance • Germination: pillbox water method; seeds cracked and into soil within 48 hours. Gentle Aptus start mix supported early vigor. • Vegetative: bottom-watering to promote downward root growth; transplanted and vegged with controlled training and canopy management. • Flower: early flip to 11/13; progressive nutrition with Aptus + Plagron mix; inner canopy lighting (ICL300) to support middle/low bud development; spectrum tuning (red/far-red/UV) toward the end of flower. Final flush and plain water to finish. • Harvest: judged by trichome and pistil maturity, aroma, and overall plant condition. Whole-plant hang for two weeks, then hand-trimmed and cured in Grove Bags. On flower day 60, it was finally time. Three days before the final cut, I did a last light watering with plain water. The last 36 hours, the lights stayed on. In the end, I had around 20–30% amber trichomes. I'm super happy with the result. Trim jail was exhausting but totally worth it. The harvest is now right in the middle of curing. As for the smell: a sharp, earthy, leathery diesel mix with hints of lemon. The fuel note is, to my delight, much stronger than expected. Incredibly sticky buds. Sparkling flowers. So the first week of a 12 on 12 light schedule is behind us. As you can see she started to elongate very well, most of the branches grew out to the same hight without any LST or HST training. The Bilberry Lamp is showing it's quality. You can see that both the spectrum and the power work great for the plant. Nothing special happened this week. She showed her first "hairs". Fed her twice each time with the mentioned dosages from the BAC Organic line. I try to keep na 9 degrees Celsius difference between night and day. Just trying to keep her happy and hope that all goes well.

Day 5 - Fr1 need LST to gain the best yield front he lowest buds...I don't usually let the stem grow so vertical FR2 has a very nice frame .no real training needed.

The temperature is better with ac, took me sometime to get humidity high. I think I gave it double the food it needed. And I think the hlg 100w v2 3000k was too far away, I set it on 18" for the 2nd week. I notice a lot of yellowing and light vibrant green everywhere and the tip o leaves crawling downwards. And I think they are asking for help. Please help

Day 34 this lady is running, I can see flowers getting bigger every day, smell started really really soon this time so I already had to add the Carbon Filter. I’d like to close the cycle in less then 80 days. Ph 6.2 Ppm 731 As I’m growing an solito in a 9.2 lt pots with all mix nutrients I’m slowing down with all in one and just giving base feedings, I ll decide later if I should give super-pk for the next weeks Day 40, tomorrow will be feeding days. Stoped LST about a week ago as it's really bushy now and canopy flat witch is good grow as been good switch to bloom as the stretching has stoped leaves still abit yellow I fear this might be due to night time temps droping to below 15 C was wondering if I could defoliate this auto as it's really bushy now don't know if I should or can any advice ? Ok I have decided to go forward with the defoliation as the RH in tent is very high and it's winter at the moment so my risk for mold and bud root is high so I feel with the defoliation it really opened up the canopy great for air circulation and lower buds are getting much need light now tryed to keep all big fan leaves that are on the out side posted pics and plant seems stressed due to it leaves droped and hanging abit but hopefully she will bounce back the canopy in the centre was a mix of leaves on leave s on leaves like no way air would ever get in there lol funny thing once I opened her up there was nice size buds under there don't know how they got light but they did some how get food from main steam I guess

16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 21.4.25: Hope everyone had a great 420! Northern lights is absolutely beautiful, great structure. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time, but I have added an LST clips as one of the middle tops was much talker than the others. I am trying very hard to exercise some much necessary self restraint here! 😅 it is becoming increasingly difficult! I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Maybe 2 leaves have very thin overlapping blades. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. I removed the plant ties and retied the plant after watering. Less ties are necessary as the plant has moulded and stayed in that structure. 25.4.25: Northern Lights was much overdue for a retie of the fabric ties. After this session of LST, the plant is absolutely huge. I really could easily fill the tent with just her. The fact that this plant could fill out a 4ft² space absolutely proves that autoflowering strains can outdo photoperiods. This particular strain, as well as my RQS Fat bananas, have been an absolute dream to grow. They take training like they're craving it. 😍 Thanks for checking out my diary and hanging out 😃💚✌️🍃😊
