Day 50. Switched from maxigro to maxibloom, plant is taking well to it.

I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 6 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. I deliberately sent my 2 ladies into flower 2 months earlier. roughly the 12/12h rule. Sometimes it was 10 hours in the sun, but sometimes 12 hours. In my region it will soon be rainy and cold. I'm toying with the idea of harvesting them before I catch mold or something else. The trichomes are all milky. About 15-20% amber colored.

Ice Bomb grew well under the Unit Farm UF4000, and UF2000 that was added in flowering. She was 1 of 5 in a group grow under the lights. She got nice and frosty. Smells like strawberries 🍓 to me anyway. She is suppose to be a good medical cannabis so curious to the smoke report when I get there. This girl is done. Getting the chop tonite. Been so much damn fun. Bathroom photo shoot turned out great. Very happy with this girl. Gonna be sad to chop her down.

I highly encourage newbies to run with this strain and don’t look back. Super tolerant that produces both yield and quality. Luckily I didn’t run into any deficiencies, disease, or pests. Temps and humidity where on point the entire run. The only neg would be these girls got wayyyy to tall. I had to remove light hangers to gain 5 inches. Even at that I had buds with 5 inches of a 1000w HPS HID. Hood is air cooled so heat wasn’t an issue but one plant def had light stress. Yield and quality is fantastic. I was hoping for a pound for no real reason other than is sounds cool to yield a full 16 ounces. Even more so than yield I was looking for top notch quality and I must say these girls made it. I’m not sure if they reach the 25% THC the strain is known for but either way the can’t be far behind. Smoke tests reveal a smooth smoke with a slight pungent gassy taste. High hit mid way thru lean cone With an energetic yet relaxing high. Lasted over two hours and I’m no light weight. Saved tones of larf nugs, sugar leaves and fans leaves for batches of butter and maybe some hash. Wife wants some fans leaves for a skin lotion. Overall a great run and next run of the 4 best plants is ready to go. Update 5 days after harvest. Buds are starting dry out but still have plenty of moisture. Prob another 5 days till dry. Smell is increasing by the day becoming really pungent. Canna butter came out awesome. Planning on making some bubble hash with sugar leaves and some larf. Update 8 days after harvest. Buds are dry enough for jars. Hanging buds weighed over 13 oz. Still have a bunch drying in racks After jarring for 8 hours, received a pungent odor. I think these girls are gonna stinkkkk. Hoping the taste is there. Potency is 👌. What a great first experience. Happy with this smooth run with no real issues. Can’t be happier with The product at the end. I made some canna butter and tincture. Wife made some skin lotion. I have bubble bags on the way and 2 ounces of leaf matter and an ounce of larf that’ll be going thru a bunch of washes. This growing this is for me. Tons of work and time but in the end it’s worth it.

1/24 Seeing balls I think :( - Welp - Confirmed they are balls, #2 has them also, not sure if LST caused to much stress or what. To much pride to just kill them all. I will continue this grow concealed in the 3x3. Honestly thought I was doing everything right. Going to leave them together, I got a auto water system to help keep tent closed more often. Doing this for the experience, will deep clean tent and all equipment after. I guess my goal now is to just finish her up, I'm 4 weeks through, going to try to use this bud for edibles, etc. This is for the people who had a hermie, wanted to continue growing it, but couldn't due to there conditions. Here ya go, this will be a fun run. If this isn't a good idea let me know LOL. 1/25 - (early morning) after a little researching and thinking, I think I'll just kill the hermies out. #2 had the same sacks. Going to keep a close eye on #3,#4, but so far they haven't sexed yet, ended up chopping #1, #2 for the better. Done buying cheap seeds, I have went through recommendations to find the best genetics and a more reputable breeder, very soon will start diary on that which I am very pumped for. With 2 of these out now, Planning on putting another strain in with them. I got a little unmotivated experiencing this, but figured rather fix it now then set my self back another 4 weeks. Hopefully we still have luck with #3, #4 will hope for the best! 1/30 - Since chopping #1, and #2 due to them becoming hermie, I definitely lost some motivation on this run. I still have been watering and adjusting canopy with trellis. They have definitely blown up since 1/25, and are giving me much more motivation moving forward. I gave them recharge today. I have started slight LST again but just bending the top cola so it won't grow higher then other colas. I have started another run with Brother Mendel Genetics, and will be starting another grow diary series on them. Look out for it. This plant is great! There is tons of trichome development and she smells super sweet. There is some yellowing going on but she’s a big plant for a 20 gallon pot so it’s hard to find the right balance of top dressing to keep her happy. But all in all she is looking good and stacking up nicely. 😎🍿🍻🌱

Week 11 Update – Harvest Time Approaching! 🌱✂️ BioBizz#1 – BT51 She’s done! She hasn’t had any water for the past five days and will be harvested later this week. AN#4 – BT51 She still needs a little more time—probably another 1-2 weeks before she’s fully ready. AN#3 – BT47 Somehow, she’s managing despite the extremely close distance to the light. I haven’t held back on PPFD at all, but she’s handling it like a champ. Super curious to see what kind of yield she’ll bring in! 😅

22/11/2021 all plants are doing well with some clearly larger than others. they have taken well to the root juice and the bio heaven and will continue root juice in the first week. Light is at 50% brightness. 26/11/2021 - masses of leaves - plants have taken to the pots well - slight bending issue with one where it was stretching for the light but it is now propped with sticks so hopefully will straighten out. All plants look set to be nice and tall.

You walk into the back yard and it’s a straight face punch of smells. Looking like some indoor rn moved all plants to safer place in case storm hits so now I atleast have a wind break

First grow was better than second. But I satisfied and very very happy with the results of harvest!

This week we should really see these colas blow up and start stacking really strong. The mixer of 7 hours of sun and 17 hours under my LEDs has really helped my girls grow strong. Nothing compares to good old Mother Nature.
