08/10/22 watered with Recharge

This week flushing the wedding cake i thought that was the problem was an excess of nutrients, but instead the water was quite clean, around 1100ppm at the first drain, after several flushes water is now on 600ppm.. It seems that the others are starting to have the same deficiency that hit wedding # 2 .. now I'm treating them with 0.5ml of cal-mag adding it to the other nutrients for once a week (except wedding # 2) I will wait for the soil to dry out, to give her only clean water since the final harvest is not long. ⚠️ UPDATE DAY 45 ⚠️ Yesterday flush for dos si dos and today flush for (wedding cake 1) they are having a nutrient lockout too..😪 The (wedding cake 1) is clearly healthier than her sister (wedding cake 2) by looking at her color, but unfortunately she had excessive PPM / EC too.. So i did the same procedure by using only tap water, but this time added only 0,5ml of cal-mag. Water was at 6.5 ph until I got a better runoff, it went from 5.7 to 6.0 PH and from 1800 to 700-600ppm 😬 I have never thought of overdoing nutrients so much.. I will certainly learn a lot from these mistakes 🙌🏻

It was a good week for the Strawberry Banana Auto, she was pushing her 7th node on day 26 so I gently removed the top, and I also removed the lowermost 2 nodes so I will have nodes 3, 4, 5, and 6 to work with. She got a little sad immediately after topping, but when the lights came back on after 6 hours of dark she was perked right back up and I immediately started LST to try and develop an even canopy. She is still feeding 4 times per day on Silica, CalMag, and GH maxi gro veg nutes. This light is an absolute beast, I now have it cranked up to 50% in the V1 stage, and it continues to keep everything green and more importantly with tight internode spacing. I will continue to LST for a few more weeks and transition her to flower nutrients once her vertical grow stops on its own or if I need it to stop due to height constraints. A few of the zed blacks hermed..spreading pollen into the flower tent. Already seeing some seeds develop. It is what it is. I should have done a better job checking on them. I kept the Zed blacks that only had a couple flowers on the bottom but tossed anything that had flowers growing up the majority of the plant. Some of the most famous strains in the world were self pollinated so I don't have issues with a couple male flowers. They're just trying to improve their fitness as nature intended. The plants are doing very well. A few of the bottom leaves are dying which is normal...senecense! Sucking up those nutrients. I've been liquid feeding using the fish, seaweed, humate and recharge. I have saved the males and they are trying to reveg. Still popping out a few flowers which I'm cutting off. 1 rainbow belt. 1 zed black. 3 hash plants The hash plants are smelling incredible. Definitely a few keepers mixed in here. Maybe 3/7. Hopefully the quality of the flower backs it up. Zed blacks have 2/3 I'm interested in. One is very very low yield. Unless its a really high quality plant I'm gonna toss it Rainbow belts are both smelling ridiculous. Super frosty. Good yield. One is slightly more frosted than the other. The zkittles pheno has pure Skittles smell with a little lemon cleaner chem to back it up. Probably my keeper!

Overall nice strain the line has obviously been stress tested as she held up amazingly during a heat wave that saw temp rising to 33c at the worst. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys the old skool skunky terp profile and is looking for something abit milder in effect but still leaves you feeling nice and high.

9/20 Adjusted lights to 40% at 24 inches. It looks like I have a whorled phyllotaxy with the Sticky Mango. 3 branches per node. Should be cool to see how she develops. 9/22 Watered at 900 mS/cm 9/23 Dropped ir light on plants. Broke a fan leaf off the Moonberry Pie Auto. Removed other leaf to maintain light distribution and symmetry. Otherwise plants look great. 9/24 Added IR lighting. 10 before and after lights on and off. Hung at about 48 inches. 9/25 Topped Pink Apple Soda and Yuzu Sour above 4th node. Watered at 1.080 mS/cm pH 6.1. Watered to minimal runoff. Reduced RH to 62% 9/28 Increased lighting to 50%. Topped the Sticky Mango Auto. Was going to get to tall. The whorled phyllotaxy aspect of the plant is interesting. It is definitely growing faster than the others . It even has pistils already and a VERY dominant side branch. The plant I dropped the IR light on (Moonberry Pie Auto) definitely got stunted even though only 2 fan leaves had to be removed. The other topped plants (Yuzu Sour Auto and Pink Apple Soda Auto) look great. Starting to get bushy. Tucked the large fan leaves. Turtle Taffy Auto has been rather disappointing. If it doesn't show me something soon I may not waist the nutrients and get another Tastebudz Genetics seed going. The plant had some issues earlier in the week, but thanks to a fellow grower who helped me to sort it out! The pant is doing fine just that the leaves that turned pale never turned back green… but I still see new pistil formations very often in new sites!! Hope everything goes well.
