It grew to within about 10 inches from the light, so 6-8 inches more than last week. I did some FIMing and trimmed off lower leaves this week. I'll check the growth this week and decide to switch the light schedule with the next week or so to 12-12.

WEEK 8 ~ Beginning of week 2 Flower DAY 8 of Flowering This week Has Been nothing but CRAZY GROWTH!! All plants are super healthy and starting to show their first signs of blooming 🌸 .. last few days I’ve been seeing a little discoloration on one of my kosher lush pheno’s turns out it’s just coco being a biotch again!( PH BEING TO LOW NOW) Lol .. I know it’s only a week in so for me it’s crazy to already see trichomes starting to form . I brought in some support for the plants that should help me with some LST . Next move is putting some bamboo/wooden sticks into a grid over all the plants and making those tops pop up all over this 5x5 !! I Just started some new wet Betty seeds and they are already taking off.. lol 180$ on 6 seeds I’ll die if they die🙏But hey guys thanks for checking in and keeping updated on this grow again any questions or any tips I’d love to hear thanks!! ~Garcia’s Garden

🌸 Lava Cake – Week 7 Flower (Harvest Special) 🌸 This week marks a major milestone in the Lava Cake journey: we harvested phenotype two, who had been affected by bud rot. Bud rot may have tried to take the best from us, but we didn’t allow it. Even though bud rot forced an early cut, the flowers are still dense, fragrant, and high quality. The flowers were so dense and weighty that some branches were starting to bend, snap, and strain under the load. While this is a testament to the plant’s vigor and genetics, it also increased the risk of further bud rot and damage, making an early, careful harvest the safest and most sensible choice. Even under pressure, these girls delivered impressive structure, weight, and resin coverage, proving their strength and quality until the very last moment. Due to the pandemic, I was unable to update this diary weekly, but I recorded the results of the harvest with some photos and only now managed to update the diary. Of two plants, both flowering amazing without big problems. Flowering went well despite the plants having to withstand a lot of heat. Happy Growing to all 🤜🤛🌲💪🙏💚

Vamos familia, actualizamos la cuarta semana de vida de estas Lemon Mandarin de Fastbuds. Tuve problemas con la temperatura que estuvo alta 28/26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos, la única queja es la temperatura, 16 horas luz, 8 oscuridad, estiraron un poco, pero van lentas por el momento, que cojan fuerza. El trasplante a sido realizado a la maceta definitiva, 7L con sustrato Top crop. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Both plants are looking good. Trichomes still not completely cloudy but giving nothing but PH water so that as soon as trichomes are right they can be harvested.

Greetings everyone! Week 7 of these two ladies is here aaaand they are finally in flower! 😀 It took them a little more than what I wanted but hey, it's done! 🙌 My only big issue this week was that it was hot compared to last one, which might have affected my girls somehow but besides that? Not much. Besides that this is what I did and I noticed: - The baby on the back has a weird growth rate! She's very, VERY bushy and tons of her leaves have long stems. Dunno why! - I reinforced the LST. Some stems were a bit too close to each other and that could be potentially dangerous! - Tucked and trimmed a lot this week. Too much foliage! Specially on the baby that's on the back. Hopefully she'll respond well to it! - The "healthy" girl has some weird looking leaves. Her leaves have tons of "points" 😱 Anyway, that's all for now. D71/F24 - 11.29 - just a very beautiful happy purply lady <3 Recovered from defoliation well. D76/F29 - 12.4 - Chuggin along in her glorious purpliness. Unfortunately she gotta battle a littler for light given the size of her TCC sativa heavier neighbors. Maybe move her to the 3x3 soon so she gets all she needs. Such a delightful splash of color in blanket of yellows and greens <3

Huston I think we have an issue.. So the temp in the tent has been getting up to 90% for 4 consecutive days as well as the humidity has risen to 77. I know that it is from my room conditions now that I am running 3 lights in the room and it is causing the overall room temperature to rise. I have ordered a portable AC unit for my grow room and it will be here next Thursday so I can only hold on. Heavy defoliation commenced to try and bring the humidity and temp down as best that I can. The Maui Wowi hermied on me under the heat stress.. but it is too big to let it go so I am plucking Balls daily from anything I see. Also I had to chop the Blue cheese down it was dying from lack of light because you guessed it the Maui Wowi has stolen the show and light.

In week 5 of flower and decided to start documenting my indoor 2x4 grow setup. We currently just finished day 3 of week 5. I have my lights running from 9:15PM - 8:45AM. I am not sure how I messed up on my timer but that's been my schedule since flipping to flower. I have an A/C in my bedroom that I duct into the tent. I have my A/C set at 62F and the tent gets to around 71-75F with the lights on. Lights off it ranges from 68-70F. I have a small dehumidifier in the tent that needs to be replaced because it is not efficient. I have an intake fan running at full blast at all times and my exhaust fan is automated to turn on based on temp and humidity. Week 5 has brought on a lot of strong dank smells and a whole lot of weight to the buds. They are really starting to thicken up! I have not had too many issues with this grow so far and luckily, the tent in clean and bug-free. Lots of resin and terpene production going on and you can smell and see it increase daily! I am following General Hydroponics Flora Series 6-Part grow chart. I am currently following the medium strength chart. I'll measure everything out exactly as the chart suggest then dilute my mix until I get to my desired PPM of 1000-1200. I PH around 6.2-5.8 and then add my microbes. I changed up my watering technique mid grow due to an issue I dealt with and now watering 2x a day. Lights on and right before lights off. If my lights didn't run overnight, I would like to add in a 3rd watering in the middle of my light cycle but 2 a day is working for now. I water until there is a good amount of runoff. I measure the PPM of my runoff compared to the PPM of my inflow mix and will keep watering until the runoff is 300PPM or less over my input. So if my mix is 1000 PPM and my runoff is 1600PPM, I will go back and water or as I like to think about it, rinse off the coco until my runoff PPM is at 1300-1000. It is a little tedious but it's a habit I formed and it does not take much longer to ensure your PPMs in the root zone is perfectly where I want it. I defoliated right before flipping to flower. Then defoliated 2 weeks later, and then a minor defoliation on week 4 of big fan leaves. I most likely won't be taking off any more leaves for the rest of the grow unless they are really blocking the light. I am planning on harvesting in week 8 or 9, depending on when the plant is showing it is ready. For General Hydroponics line, it has been the same nutrient strength/mix from week 3-5. Next week, Week 6, we start lowering the strength and adjust the amounts as we get into the later stages of flower and eventually will be flushing. For my flush, I will be using GH Florakleen, GH ripen, Mammoth P, and Bio-Fizz. Excited to see how these girls turn out! I'll be adding my outdoor grow as well as a new veg tent that I setup yesterday in my room. Stay tuned!

Okay so it's been a while since I've been able to update anything and I think it's working now emphasis on think I don't know if videos are working as I have one on Kabul that keeps saying processing something happen with the update that didn't jive with the device I'm on so I've had a gap into those awaiting my updates I do apologize.. with that being said look at this thing.. this plant made it through the roughest childhood possible just to go through Navy SEAL training and now we're about to see the fruits of her and my labor.. Day 1- 08/04/22 14:30pm Germination Time!!!!! Here we have 21 wonderful seeds from the amazing fastbuds!!!! Placed in a glass of water for 18-20hours!!! So excited!!!! - Day 2-09/04/22 seeds have been placed on a wet paper towel!!!!! - Day 3-10/04/22 getting the pots filled with soil ready for planting tonight or tomorrow!!!!! - Day 4-11/04/22 most of the seeds had popped last night so I planted most of them and the rest I planted this morning!!! 1 seed out of the 21 didn’t pop so germinating another to make it back up to 21!!!! So there all in the tent except 1!!!! - Day 5-12/04/22 one has come through so far and should be planting the last seed tonight!!!! A few more should pop out by tomorrow!!!! - Day 6-13/04/22 14 out of the 21 have come out so far!!!! - Day 7-14/04/22. 19 of the 21 have come through!! I think one isn’t going to come through so I’m germinating another seed to replace it and if the other one doesn’t come through tomorrow I’ll germinating another one to replace that Aswell!!!.
