~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🀯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Papaya Sherbet flowers deliver a signature flavor of premium cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that emerge upon inhaling. During growth, her aroma makes for a sweet yet pleasantly bitter fragrance, giving you an idea of what the smoke will taste like. Notably stress-resistant, Papaya Sherbet is a great choice for growers working in challenging environments. She is very forgiving and rebounds quickly from any adversity, allowing growers the freedom to experiment with confidence that she will take everything like a champion she is. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and abundant yields in every grow cycle." Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!πŸ€ͺπŸ’š ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 7/26- Week Eleven of veg is here and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is getting taller by the day and is looking fantastic! Our summer weather continues to be brutal with daytime high temperatures hitting over 90℉ everyday, and nighttime low temp's rarely going below 75℉ with super high nighttime RH in the 70-90% range. 7/28- I am continuing with my daily watering regime of 5-8g every afternoon after sunset, with the exception of days that we receive measurable rain. 7/30- The Papaya Sherbet photo is continuing her growth spurt and is at 6 1/2 feet tall now! She's got that wide node spacing reminiscent of Sativa's, and I'm just hoping that she doesn't wait too long to begin flowering which would run into our wet season when issues with fungus and mold become more of a concern. 8/1- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is now 84 days since she first appeared, and she has really come a long way since. Hopefully in the next few weeks she will shift gears and begin to flower which will be a welcome sight to see! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! πŸ’šGrowers Love!πŸ’šπŸ˜ŽπŸ™

πŸ‘‰Wedding Gelato #1 is incredible. She can handle the strong effect of the Genoneleven products. 😍 Therefore almost all photos are from Wedding Gelato #1 πŸ‘‰Wedding Gelato #3 seems to have been fertilized a bit too strong. The leaves curl and the color is dark green. However, the leaf tips don't turn brown. This week's flush : only pure water from the water tank. πŸ™ Buds have become rock hard with a lot of trichomes. 😍😍😍 Next week will be harvest time 😁😁😁

Week 8 started okay, after lots of defoliation, I think light penetrates a bit more lower parts, flowers now started to turn into longer bud sites, looks nice. Hard to notice issues with plants, because most of the bigger leaves are removed, and usually leaves are the first ones to show issues I guess. Also plant no 1 has grown lots of stems past lightning :D Its growing strong. Still are a bit behind with flowering than other 2 plants. But overall all plant buds look amazing! Still adding flowering nutriens, perhaps I should stop at end of week to flush it? Seems like harvest could be in next two weeks, I'd say 10 days, but i have no idea. Mid-week I removed plants first time from grow box, did lots of defoliation, and moved light to very top of box, took them back inside, now lightning is very good and space issue kinda solved, plant no 1 had grown very tall and already had burnt top buds, had to do something. few lessons learned.

Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. My Royal Gorilla has one branch with an uncommon mutation. The stem from 4th internode is flat and not circular. From the 7th node, although now plant shows alternate growth, two perfectly identical branches are growing closer to each other, a twin bud mutation. Precisely for this mutation I decided to apply a little supercropping by bending the branch with a flat section at 90 Β°. I hope it wasn't late and the double buds will recover. #update August 6, twin buds perfectly recovered from supercropping so I can hope for a monster bud!

week intel: everything is perfect! stresses : just a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 818 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 382 ppm - 0.7 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 250 ppm - 0.5 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : know your plant tolerance limit of E.C stress once you saw the very very little yellowing on tips of leaves , that's the sign to don't go further , never reach that limit if you want a high quality buds, in my case tolerance is 1.8 and i'll reach to that level only once a week to cause precision stress , love your plants and have a happy growing!

One week has past since I put the seed in the earth. I water the plant as soon as the earth feels dry (not completly dried out). I just use about 100-200ml water (because I don't want to "drown" her). My lamp is at 50% because it seems to be a little to intense for the small seedling at 100%. UPDATE: My first mistake Found out that the leafs of my seedling rolled up, because the light was too intense for the young plant. So I put my light again on 25% (around 6.200 Lux). I have read that a seedling just can take light between 5.000 and 7.000 Lux. My lamp was around 18.000 to 19.000 lux! So I am very glat, that I haven't killed my plant πŸ˜…

well, my sativa disappoints me greatly, it is not clear for what reason the flowering stage passes so slowly, the lamp that was at the whole stage with it is 120w phyto LED. At the initial stage, the trunk grew very steeply and the branches became very large, hard and very strong, but but when the color stage came, the speed dropped significantly, in general, the plant does not smell much, the smell resembles dill)) I think she will have to wait another couple of weeks for the final finish

Week 4 So we're 1 week into flowering. The growth has been amazing. The plants are taking the nutrients nicely. I just over watered one a bit, I'd let her dry out a bit before I continue to water. I also started to shaping th stems so the light distribution is equal. Don't for get to use my code STLVDXW for an extra 15% off your next order at fast buds #fastbuds See yal next week!

Hey guys, it's been a great journey but I've finally hung my Stardawg out to dry! Yesterday was their last day totalling 8 weeks on flower. Realistically they could have benefited from a further week because the lower buds are somewhat underdeveloped but then I would risk losing the preferred sweet high smoke of the top buds. With this being my first attempt it's been a great learner not only for how to care for the plants but also the environment. As soon as these went into flower and started stretching I knew that putting 6 in a 2.4 x 1.2m tent was a bad idea. They just got so big which is the cause of the lower sites not being as good as the top colas. Despite that I'm really happy with the outcome and I'm hoping ive got 30oz+ of real good quality nugs. All of the top colas have turned a gorgeous violet colour too which you can see on the pictures and I absolutely love. For my next grow I've gone with 6 fastbuds strains which hopefully will go under a scrog. Check back next week for the harvest and weigh in!

WEEK 12 - FLOWERING: Late Flowering Phase β€‹πŸŒΌ FLOWERING PROGRESS The Monster Maker is progressing through Week 8 of flower. The buds are continuing to gain density and are starting to show slight purple tints in some areas. The plant is handling the current nutrient levels without signs of stress, showing consistent growth across all sites. β€‹πŸ‘ƒ TERPENES & AROMA The terpene profile is characterized by a sharp, sweet tangerine scent. The aroma has remained stable and pronounced throughout this week. β€‹πŸ’§ NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING Currently irrigation is 1.67L with the full BioBizz mix. I will maintain this schedule for two more applications this week to support the final bud development. Current Feeding Schedule: Calmag: 0.5 ml/l Acti-Vera: 5 ml/l Bio-Heaven: 5 ml/l Bio-Bloom: 4 ml/l Top-Max: 5 ml/l Bio-Grow: 1 ml/l β€‹πŸ’ GROWER'S NOTE Week 12. Bud density is increasing and the tangerine terpene profile is very distinct. Everything is proceeding according to the established plan.

Hello everyone, people! This is the largest Autoflowering plant that I have ever grown!)) The photo still does not convey the entire volume and its size .. it is just gigantic! fills a 1 square meter grow tent .. flowering started well! and develops without any problems .. received the first doses today Nirvana and Big Bud from advanced nutrients!!
