Expecting a awesome top shelf smoke from this girl, smell is mid way, a lot less than other strains, so it make a good option to stealth, but not the best. Superb strain, will update on the effects after dry and fully cured, high is supposed to be mild and functional, this is my first medical strain with high CBD, super curious. ---WET WEIGHT--- 421G ---DRY WEIGHT--- 95G just flowers000 ---UPDATE 2 . After harvest--- -A -Jaring After drying till the stems almost snap, in a rack, I separed the flowers, weighted and jared for cure. -B-Vape report. Vaped with a Davinci IQ, about .5 from the uncurred buds, from 350f to 430f max temp. Since the begging of the session you feel this is a special strain, taste is 5/5 vapor production is insane 5/5, and the effect as discribed by RQS, a stress killer that allows you to funcione normally, think it as a mild relaxant, is what i was looking for so super satisfyed! As you increase the vaping temps you feel the effects stronger, basically is a good body sensation and head tranquility, no paranoia, no confusion, no psychoactive stone. The side effects i feel is the classic dry mouth, not too strong though. -C-Joint smoke. Nice and smooth it hits with a mild sensation, very relaxing, no couch lock, mental trip or anything, i’m certain is similar to canna-tonic some how, very enjoyable, sweet taste tones of citrus earthy and woody. -D-Bong hit. Not a fan of bongs, i feel vaping gives a better overall experience, though for the sake of the diary, i did a bong hit to check, filled a full bowl and hitted mutiple times, the smoke is smooth, no harshness, though is a bit more intense than smoking a joint. ---UPDATE 3 . Final— Well guys, this concludes my diary, with this final update. After two weeks cure, i feel is already cured for the most part, one more week and all the cruise part will be done, after that it continues but slowly. It was fun to grow, and top shelf smoke. Note that is not a recreative smoke, is functional and enjoyable, i feel that if you have a super strong strain you can dilute in to this one and have a more controlled high. Smoking, vaping in multiple temperatures and i could still function, work, speak on the phone and think clear. Smells like fruity pebbles! She is flowering really strong, the flower stacker from Humboldt's is super legit and she is still producing new flowers. Chunky fruity smelling buds. The pollinated branch is great, pulled handful of seeds and they look great. Super excited for the super sativa mix of Jack Herer X Durban Poison. Flushing and will harvest her next weekend probably. And if you've been following this adventure, you already know what that means. Pheno A is in full beast mode. 😂💎 She's massive. She's loaded. She's throwing flowers everywhere. And she's making sure nobody forgets she's in the room. But then I look at her sister... And I have to smile. Because Pheno B is also a beast. Just a different kind. And that's exactly what makes these two so fascinating. Same genetics. Same room. Same light. Same nutrition. Same irrigation. Same environmental conditions. Both beautiful. Both vigorous. Both now cleaned up with some selective defoliation. Both entering this increasingly exciting stage of flowering. And yet... very, very different. That's phenotype hunting. And I absolutely love it. 🌱 One Room. Two Black Diamond Stories. The 8×8 Adventure was never about making twelve plants look identical. Quite the opposite. The whole point was to give different genetics and phenotypes the same ecosystem and then watch what they decide to do with it. Twelve plants. One room. 12/12 from seed. One general nutritional strategy. One environmental strategy. One lighting ecosystem. And then... genetics take over. Black Diamond Pheno A has developed one expression. Black Diamond Pheno B has developed another. They're sisters. But they're definitely not twins. 😂💎 And at Week 9, that difference is becoming impossible to miss. 💎 The Other Beast Last week, I was talking about Pheno B as the quieter sister. The more reserved phenotype. The one that wasn't necessarily trying to dominate the room. Well... I may need to revise that description slightly. 😂 Because this girl has been steadily building. And now? She's a beast too. Standing around 160 cm, she's developed into a beautiful, substantial flowering plant. But her strength isn't expressed exactly like her sister's. Where Pheno A seems to throw herself into flower production with almost reckless enthusiasm, Pheno B has that more controlled, elegant architecture. She's still tall. She's still heavily branched. She's still carrying flowers throughout her structure. She's still becoming increasingly frosty. She's just doing it in her own way. And that's what I want to document. Not which sister is “better.” But how differently two phenotypes can express themselves when everything around them is kept so similar. ✂️ The Beast Got a Little Grooming This week, just like her sister, Pheno B received some selective defoliation. Again... Nothing extreme. We're not trying to strip the plant down. We're simply opening some space where the canopy has become crowded. A few leaves needed to come out. Some areas benefited from additional breathing room. And as flowering progresses, maintaining a sensible balance between foliage, airflow and flower visibility becomes increasingly important in a room containing this many plants. The goal isn't to change her personality. It's to reveal it. And I think that's exactly what happened. After the cleanup, you can appreciate the structure much more clearly. The flowering sites become easier to see. The branches become easier to follow. And suddenly you realize just how much she's actually carrying. 🌿 Similar Sisters. Very Different Personalities. This is probably my favourite part of this week's update. Put Pheno A and Pheno B next to each other and you immediately know they're related. There are similarities. The overall flower development. The vigorous growth. The healthy foliage. The general Black Diamond character. But then you start looking closer... And the differences appear. Their architecture isn't the same. Their flower distribution isn't exactly the same. Their proportions aren't the same. Their way of occupying the room isn't the same. Their personalities aren't the same. And that's the magic. Same family. Different handwriting. One sister says: "Give me the whole tent." The other says: "I'll take my space, thank you very much." 😂💎 And somehow... both are absolutely beautiful. 🌸 Flower Development Is Getting Serious At this point in the flowering cycle, the flowers are becoming increasingly defined. The calyxes are stacking. The pistils remain abundant. The developing buds are gaining structure and volume. And the resin is becoming much more obvious. Looking through this week's photographs, that's one of the first things that catches my eye. She's getting frostier. The sugar leaves are beginning to disappear underneath the resin. The developing flowers are becoming increasingly coated. And we're still watching that transformation happen week by week. This is where the earlier weeks of growth start paying off. The branches we watched develop. The flowering sites we watched appear. The structure we watched form. Now they're all becoming flowers. And that is incredibly satisfying to watch. ❄️ The Frost Is Arriving I particularly like the close-ups this week. You can see that the resin coverage is becoming much more apparent across the developing flowers and sugar leaves. She's not finished. We're not at the end of the story. But the direction is very clear. She's getting frosty. And I have a feeling that the coming weeks are going to make these photographs even more interesting. This is one of those moments where the plant starts changing visually in a way that's immediately noticeable. Every update seems to bring another layer. More structure. More resin. More density. More personality. 🍃 Healthy Green, Beautiful Structure One of the things I continue to appreciate about Pheno B is her overall appearance. She's maintaining that rich, healthy green. The foliage remains vigorous. The plant has enough leaves to support continued flower development while still responding well to the selective cleanup we've given her. And this is important. Defoliation isn't the objective. A healthy, functional plant is the objective. If a leaf is doing its job, that's valuable. If removing a leaf improves the overall structure of a crowded canopy, that can also be valuable. It's always a balance. And with this girl, I think we've found a nice middle ground. She's still lush. She's still green. She's still unmistakably herself. But now there's a little more room to appreciate what she's building underneath. 💡 Light From Above and Below The lighting experiment continues to be particularly interesting with these two sisters. The main Future of Grow lighting provides the primary overhead illumination. The Lumiflora under-canopy lighting adds another layer of usable light lower within the plant. And with Pheno B's architecture, there's plenty to observe. She's tall enough that different parts of the plant naturally experience different light levels. At the same time, her structure isn't identical to Pheno A's. So once again, the same lighting system is interacting with a different phenotype. That's exactly what I want from this experiment. Not assumptions. Observation. We give them the same opportunity. Alles läuft weiterhin rund. Ich habe zur Vorsicht eine Gelbtafel eingebracht. Da hängt nichts dran, was mich natürlich freut. Das Aroma der Blüten wird immer intensiver. Ich habe nun reichlich Geruchsneutralisatoren im Kreislauf eingesetzt. Man möchte ja nicht bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse sitzen und der halben Welt Mittteilen, was man so im Keller treibt. ;) Heute, am 1. Tag der 9. Blütewoche habe ich mit neutralem Wasser begonnen, zu spülen. Wir nähern uns der Ernte. :)

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Girls will get a feed of 400 ppm 0.8 ec of Massive Bloom Formulation, 600 ppm 1.2 ec of Flora Nova Bloom, and 200 ppm 0.4 ec of Floranova grow for a grand total of 1200 ppm 2.4 ec. Girls are stacking, node spacing is close. Smell is amazing and she is a very healthy big bush.😍

Die Temperatur ist weiterhin konstant, immer etwa um die 27 ° Celsius. Bisher haben wir einen sehr milden, aber auch feuchten Frühling mit nur wenigen sehr kurzen Hitzeperioden. In unserem Haus ist an sich kein Geruch wahrzunehmen. Dies liegt jedoch an unseren guten Abluft und dem großen Filter denn sobald wir die Box öffnet strömt ein unglaublich angenehmer, süßlich bis fruchtiger Geruch durch die Räume.

Day 31 - 38 (Day 32) I’m going to lower the humidity in the room to 55-60. Still no bananas but I’m still quite worried about #3 fully popping and ruining my whole crop. Since there is a good chance it’s going to herm, I’m going to give it with a small feeding today and watch it like a hawk this week. I think the boost actually made a decent difference in #5 from last week. I’m seeing slightly fatter main colas but that could just be from less topping/smaller plant or less nitrogen. I’ve decided to push my luck and give a boost to each plant. These things just aren’t filling out like they should. They look like they are on day 23 not 33. I’m going to top dress 3 tablespoons of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and later tonight I’m going to water in a low strength feeding of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m going to give a final heaping tablespoon of nature’s pride bloom to #5 so it can stretch to the end. I’m also going to lower the lights by a few inches. The tallest cola is now about 13 inches away and the rest of the canopy is at about 18–24. If I see signs of light stress I’ll raise it back up but I’m sure it could use the extra light on the lowers. (Day 33) I’ve been reading that bigger plants just take longer to mature and that’s probably why my plant hasn’t fully filled out or is about a week behind. I still could have done a better job defoliating some of the smaller larf branches on the bottom which just robs the good branches of energy. The more I think about it, the more I think I did a very poor job of defoliating the middle canopy. I’m still seeing lots of larf and small buds on the inside not getting much light. I’m still really worried about herms after finding that branch so I don’t want to stress them anymore. Removing suckers now is pointless. I missed my window of opportunity and now I have to deal with it. I’m going to slide an old DVD player underneath #6 to bring it up to canopy level. It’s lower buds are definitely not getting enough light. (Day 34) Ever since lowering the light, the canopy has gotten a few degrees warmer. I’ve noticed the buds don’t feel as sticky on top compared to the lower tucked branches that feel almost wet with resin. Outdoor weed grown in my climate will never reach the temperature where it degrades resin luckily. (Day 36) The buds are definitely swelling but not to the degree I want. Call me picky but I prefer my nugs as chunky as possible. I’m seeing lots of pistils but not much nug matter. Ive heard too many pistils can be caused by the overuse of alfalfa, kelp and seaweed extracts because of the natural PGR’s in them. I’m definitely going to reduce the amount of that stuff I use next round. I hope I’m just wrong and this tent is going to really fatten up this week but I have my doubts. (Day 37) A purple fade is starting on the underside of every plant except the bush who still is super dark green still. Last watering I got a nice amount of runoff so I’m just going to leave her until the end. I’m seeing a bit of yellowing on #5. I’m going to give it one final full strength feeding plus some rock dust and oyster shell tomorrow and that’s a wrap for nutrients. I might as well hit everything else with a final low strength 0-0-15 too. (Day 38) I’m amazed at how much this stuff smells compared to my last round. It smells very earthy and floral with a hint of pine. Definitely not that gassy smelling pine but more of a sweet pine.

Hey y'all week 8 in 3 days and things seems to be going not half bad. There's yellowing going on and I think that's due to me not checking my runoff and not correcting but they are in ranges of 6.4 to 6.8 ehhhh I know. But won't let that happen again. Besides that have you seen the frost on these lady's so far, especially for Pheno 1 she is super frosty and has a nice 🍇 🍋 smell that keeps getting better by the week. Pheno 2 smells like lemon citrus and Pheno 3 has a nice 🧀 🍇 smell going for her. Pheno 4 on the other hand is very subtle at the moment but I'll keep my fingers crossed. Love this plant! So it’s a generic Slurricane cross abs she is getting frosty and tall! The two topped branches were stunted and the 2 outside are huge! Just giving her my normal feed schedule now with a weekly tea. Love this! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

The flowering stretch seems to have slowed down and most of the growth is going into the buds now. The buds are forming up into long colas, and trichomes are forming up to frost the buds a little bit. One of the buds in the middle of the canopy grew into the light on f26 and got a little bit burnt. Otherwise coming along well and getting pretty smelly when touched. I trimmed off some of the lower branches towards the end of the week, and will probably be trimming more off on res cleaning day.

NPK 0.2-1-1 The early SCROG seems to work fine, Both genetics are solid however the Red Poison is bushier and it's more dificult to SCROG her, you need to put the bud spot on top of the leaves every day.

I decided in fw7 to give a bit less ec and lower the Temperatur . A big fault was that I tried to use a net to stabilize my plants . That was a fail move . I removed the net but destroyed the trichomes. Now straightened with wires and hope that this method is better . I hope that I do not more damage to harvest . Actually I have only about 3 weeks
