Sensi Seeds Jack Herer 8 weeks of veg completed 28th Jan 2020 I performed some high stress training techniques (HST) to my Jack herer Girl during the week. Basically I pinched and bent the stems of the longest branches to make them grow horizontally rather than straight up in the air. I did this to keep the canopy reasonably even giving all the potential bud sites an even distribution of sunlight. Hopefully this will eliminate a lot of the "popcorn" small buds and create nice fat colas. We shall see in a few weeks time 😃 She also got a nice big drink of High tea which the plants really seem to love . Overall I am very happy with this plants health and characteristics. One didn't get hit enough water from the sprinkler so it got stunted hard and had to go, the plan was to only do 2 this run so all good, I used this one in a breeding experiment and it recovered very well despite the conditions, but this is not part of this diary. This plant is so freaking impressive. I'm really hoping the bud structure improves. Right now she's just kind of creating trichomes upon trichomes upon trichomes. It's like branches with trichomes and pistils. Some of the fan leaves are visibly covered in trichomes almost completely She's looking a little hungry for something. I'm thinking it may be low pk In the soil

Some leafs are turning yellow which is a signal that the root flushing has worked. I've tried to see the trycomes with s magnifying glass but I don't see any turning ambar yet, the opposite with the pistils, most of them are already brown. At this point I don't know if I should harvest now or wait one more week.

Week 20 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They and with the trichomes just starting to form and 2 more moths to go. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debby, in the 80s with low humidity. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. These ladies had a long vegetation phase. They germinated April 1 so I could get them hardened off before I went on vacay. The colas are large, trichomes forming and with 2 more months to go, my expectations for these are heavy yields and sticky dense buds. 100% germination rate, they popped really quick. Threw them in the tent 1st December - Light is currently on ~70% as they would be getting too cold if I get lower. 4.12 : 5/6 broke the surface one Zerberry is missing but will surely follow the next days. 7.12 : all on surface right on track.
