So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Esta es mi primer planta que cosechó con éxito, y estoy muy feliz con mi resultado final 😄 obtuve una muy buena cantidad de flores premium con alrededor de 15% de thc (desde mi punto de vista claro 😅) Tuve algunos problemas durante el cultivo, principalmente que deje que se estirara mucho, debi hacerle LST a la punta principal para que no siguiera aumentando la altura y tener más flores del mismo tamaño, las flores más bajas quedaron chicas y les faltó madurar un poco, también tuve problemas de sobrefertilizacion aun a pesar de que seguí las instituciones de los fertilizantes y de sus indicaciones que me dieron los de servicio al cliente, incluso ya teniendo en cuenta eso siempre use la menos de la dosis de la base ya hasta que crecieron más le fui aumentando, igual creo que es muy cierto lo que dicen de que “menos es más” a la próxima empezaré usando muy pocos nutrientes, aparte creo que si hubiera usado unos leds más potentes, las plantas hubieran aprovechado más los nutrientes, pero igual me sirvió de experiencia, pienso cultivar de nuevo esta genética y sacarle más provecho. Muy recomendada 👌🏻😁

Ya esta en su tercera semana de floracio y las flores ya se empezaron a formar , ha crecido muy rapido con una buena estrucctura y aroma muy dulce

SONG OF THE WEEK: Joyner Lucas - I'm not racist 👈 play it twice 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ------- Day 72 - The ladies are packing nice nugs , the supercropped one is looking like she still wanna produce new flowers and new pistills 😁, the nugs are hard , really hard and smelling a sweet mango/exotic flavor but it's stealth as you have to be close to smell it. The "christmas three" one is more sensitive to high RH and a bit of mold were removed out of 3 spots so it's fair to say that she's not really strong in front of the others but the buds are hard rocks and smelling really good like mango & sweet all around the garden 😍. The last one got the nicest bud structure , likes tons of little calyxs stuck together but she's also the one with less smell. ------ Day 73 - 21.09 - 27 days left before the harvest so today will be their last feeding with Greenhouse Hybrids powder to have enough nutrients for the last days before tap water on day 76/77 then a full flush on day 80 until day 100. The Ec were 1.45 before my PK boost and 1.62 after with 6.4 PH for that last feeding 🌺🌹 ------ Day 77 - Last day of the week , they start to yellowing a bit , the next flush will hopfully increase the yellowing process to get naturally rid of the chlorophyll. Let me start by saying, I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T CHOP! THESE BABIES ARE GAINING SOME SERIOUS BULK! I can not wait to see them finish out, It's really testing my patience, but I notice more bulk every single day! It's about time to get the chop, they are maturing really quick and I love it. The smells are absolutely insane!!!

7/7 Grow diaries isnt letting me post a harvest week. So heres a little teaser. 65 grams dry. 2ounces 9. kaprikorns website says this is a low yielding plant. i cannot fathom what their high yeilding plants will do. this cultivar was only 12 inches from the soil line. i trained her fairly intensely but it was worth it. not much larf and the main nugs are nice and uniform. if you didnt train this plant, i can see how it wouldnt really yield much.

Alright so we're moving along as best we can with some weird looking growth but it's still growth lol. We started the Athena blended line this week but it's still early so we'll see how they look after this week. I'm hoping they grow out of this weird looking foliage. Other than that we're doing great and in a couple more weeks we'll transplant the photos and put them in flower.

Candy has been growing good. I switched h her light times today. So her flower adventure is getting started. I will likely be doing a solution change next update for blooming nutrition. I trimmed some of the under growth, and some defoliation in the rest. Everything is looking good, and she seems ready to go. in veg to allow humidity to be high I had plants on risers and left water in the bottom tray of tent after feeding. I cleaned the tent and reintroduced drip trays under pot risers and now I shop-vacuum all water out of drip tray to keep rh lower for flower. also increased exhaust from low to high and added a 4 inch booster fan to bottom of tent as intake to draw dry air in. sour 76 #5 (fastest largest grower) was male got pulled out of tent but later eaten by my cats :( rip didnt get any pollen collected

This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. Almost there! Plant number #1 is finally looking and smelling like it's time to get chopped down. Some colas have enough amber trichomes but not all of them. The smoke from plant #2 gets a very heady high so I'm wondering if I make sure I see amber everywhere the buds will produce more of a body high. I'm probably going to cut her down this week- stay tuned!
