Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

As u can see trichomes slowly turning milky even amber so starting to flush with ripenner then r/o some Buds might catch alight foxtail i’m trying to maintain air circulation there as hard as i can to prevent rot cuz buds aregetting rly dance

Going into the final week of flower, will be harvesting the next week. Buds are super dense and frosty! Purple Queen is sweet and sticky while the Girl Scout Crack is more pungent and stinky.

So the girls are putting on a pretty amount of trichomes, did another defoliation from everything below the net and opened up a bit more of airflow. Everytime I open the room some of the nicest smells I ever had punch me straight in the face😂

Number 1 Number 1 is browning out her hairs and putting on crystal. Seems to be another few weeks to go yet. Number 2 Fall colours, purple, black, brown yellow. A real treat to the eyes. She smells sweet and dripping with resin. No real strong pot smell, and no amber trichomes yet. She is close to getting the axe! The super mutant needs the lumens! Super Mutant This thing is huge. This thing is hungry. This thing is loaded with buds as big as my arms. If every plant was like this, I'd need 1 crop a year. Some of these buds look like they're going to be 2 ozs each! Mammoth monster! Out of these 3 seeds, looks like I got 3 phenos. Although my light is awesome, I think it concentrates blue and red to different areas, making the plants grow at different rates. Number 1 and the super mutant are very similar in structure, except for size. Number 2 was the last to germinate and first to flower. It has a different smell, structure and look. It was from a single promo pack of the NL. The other 2 were from the same package. Will number 2 make it until next week, or will it be a harvest?

Seedsman Sour Diesel Haze is in its pre-flowering stretch, she grew a lot over the past week and I don't think she's done stretching yet. Excited to see how big she gets! 👍

It's been a while but the ladies are doing great. Some pretty nice budformation. 1 of the ladies has some special looking buds, I wonder how they'll finish.

Fastbuds Auto Update – Week 7 🌱 Another week has passed, and things are looking great! 🌿 This week I did a deep watering, almost like a mini flush, to bring down the PPM levels and keep everything balanced. 💧⚖️ The plants are thriving beautifully, and something really interesting has come up — three of them remind me so much of Blue Dream, which was actually the very first strain I ever grew! 🌸💭 The structure, the aroma, everything about them instantly took me back to those early days. It’s very likely that 3 seeds from this 10-seed mix pack are Blue Dream. 🍇✨ Such a pleasant surprise and a nice bonus of growing mix packs — you never know when a strain will unlock some great memories! 🌱💚.

9/14 Week 9 and she is doing fine Little vid she is front rt Nuets not changing for now 9/16 Doing well but some white tips are saying we gotta reduce the salts so will be dropping CT nuets 10% and upping PK to 2.5 Extra space is really doing them well Defoliation again tonight the war on stemmed leaves has begun 9/17 Held a meeting of the minds and decided the best course of action is to flip the light schedule so I can feed them more appropriately, twice a day. Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Day 82. Its 81 day from seed touched soil ! If leaves would be healthier, i would run them at least one more week, but it is, what it is. They spent 24 hours in darkness and now its Trim Jail !!! ;))) Harvest Day ! Day 88. Tried bud from each, clearest weed straight from drying rack ! Only 3 feeds makes huge difference to harshness at the beggining. Still Queen is pure Tangie, can it be seed mistake ? ;))) Day 89. Boy i am f@ckingly surprised !!!
