Guessing 2 weeks left! The whole tent is looking amazing. The sour diesel ⛽️ is probably the prettiest plant but this is about runtz layer cake 🎂 and she is still very beautiful 😍

Day 29 Magnesium and calcium issue seem sorted. Last night I topped the PotG and took cuts from the bottom node. Each one now has 3 nodes/ 6 branches. Punch Line was topped days ago but i also took cuts from those. It was a little early for taking cuts but I need to get things moving here and I took two from each so at least one will make it from each. They’re all looking much more green and healthy than they were before. I’m gonna gone down tonight’s feed tho. I’m not entirely sure on plans for flower. Hopefully within the next 7-14 days. Keeping things under the FCE4800 for flower. Probably will flower the Punch line in my normal flower room as all 8 would be a bit tight. Raising light and dimming to 70% or so to encourage a bit of vertical growth. That additional UV in veg is going to cause some tighter nodes - wish you could toggle it on or off. Still rather have it all grow then none at all. All growth has been consistent from all 5 PotG Punch line was bigger at first but now because of smaller containers the PotG is easily taken over in size. Not much distinction between plants at this point. Some have a bit fatter leaves than others 1 is a bit taller out of the medium where as the others are closer to it than I’d prefer but that’s why I’m encouraging some stretch here. Day 35 update - tomorrow will have new week update but real quick.. Astounding growth this week ! PunchLine male found and putting him outside to initiate reproductive stages and get me some pollen to harvest. The stretch continues, no issues as of now

Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

I'm speechless......... I don't know what to say or think at this point. This strain is amazing!

Pheno #1 is getting fatter and fatter by the day although she is starting to fade out a bit. It’s a shame I had to tie her down because I swear her main cola would have been a foot long 😂She is also sensitive to light and has received slight amounts of burn and bleaching. She is the largest of the three but she has the least amount of resin and terpenes which is a bit unfortunate... She smells earthy, no banana scent or fruit terps like pheno #2. I still have about another 4+ weeks to go so that could easily change but we will see. I will try to be optimistic! Pheno #2 is a frost monster. She is completely covered in resin and trichromes. Her smell is out of this world, definitely has that banana fruity type smell. I don’t think I have smelt another strain quite like this so I’m very excited to see how she continues develop. Pheno #3 is a bit funky. She is stretching and getting bushier but she is extremely slow to flower. She has tons of shoots and bud sites. Almost every popcorn type branch at the very bottom raced to the top of the canopy. I feel like she hasn’t changed in the past couple weeks but maybe that’s just me being impatient. She is developing some interesting deficiencies but only on a couple leaves here and there. She is also somewhat lackluster compared to the other two. In my opinion she is a little dull looking... It’s odd to see how all three pheno’s are expressing different traits regardless of being grown in identical substrates with identical feeding schedules. It’s hard to say if it’s the genetics, substrate or the nutrients but I have a strong feeling it has more to do with the medium not being properly balanced. I normally would never grow with such a light substrate but DP grew theirs in a similar medium so I thought for the first time around I’d try to grow similar to their style. Next round I’m definitely going to switch it up and use the NFG or a custom soil blend I’ve been developing for auto flowers. It should be nice to see how a commercial soil compares to a homemade organic soil tailored for auto flowers. I’ll most likely run that experiment within a month or so once I get my new grow space setup. This week I’m going to lay off the nutrients and feed with some compost teas and microbes instead. In the video you can see my smaller brewing bucket. This is a mini-Microbulator along with an air stone. This allows for maximum dissolved oxygen saturation and also helps with preventing anaerobic spots in the brew. Set up a new space for future grows. The second week wasn't too problematic for Super Skunk #1. The seedling is steadily growing and I went forward with only feeding it distilled water. I recently came across some growing information and heard about the magic of bokashi so I figured I would incorporate it into my grow this time around to see the effects. I also decided that based on my experience last grow, I would switch over to a more kelp based nutrient during flower. What I came to realize (amongst other things) was that I had most likely underfed my plants during flower, and although my "no bottled nutrients" challenge got me through veg. without a problem, it appeared that my plants could have used a bit of a boost during flower. This time around I plan on sticking to: -rice water -coconut water -banana peel water -onion/garlic peel water during veg. and once I decide to flip to flower I will go back to using my trusty Green Plant "Medi-one" bottled organic nutrients. *the second plant that I replanted is looking pretty strange so I'm thinking I might need to germinate another seed*😑

Grow Journal Week 7: Final Phases 🌸 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I apologize for the delay in updating, but the last few weeks have been chaotic with many things on my plate. However, I finally managed to find some free time, and here’s the update for Week 7: Weekly Progress My ladies are now in the final phase of their bloom. Unfortunately, the plant on the left has started to deteriorate a bit. However, I am confident we will get all the plants safely to the finish line and achieve a fabulous harvest. The phenos smell amazing and each has unique traits, which I find fantastic. Challenges Due to the recent chaos, maintaining a consistent schedule has been challenging. However, I'm back on track and closely monitoring everything to ensure we reach the best possible outcome. Goals and Expectations I plan to make some adjustments for the next grow, but let’s see what we can achieve with this one.
