We back with some buckets! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon. A huge thanks again to @wildeweed for this beautiful bean.

This is the start of week 9, just feeding the plants just ph water. Been noticing the tips yellowing and curling and a little brown. So we are thinking it's just over nutrients. Ppm is based at recommended amount from manufacturer, but might be high for this strain. I noticed some of the sugar leaves have some terpines starting to come. It's like a twinkling vampire, lol.

Day 12 since flip. Not too much to report, we’re going thru the early flower stretch. Plants are enjoying the environment and are perked up. During this time we slowly ramp the lights up about 1-2% each day until we get to about 80%, that’s usually the max I can run this light in a 4x4. Slowly ramping up the light can avoid the stress caused by blasting your plants all at once. I’ve seen too many stress herms in early flower caused by too intense light. We will also begin to lower humidity by about 3% each week to increase VPD as the plants begin a higher rate of transpiration. We will also do a final clean up of the lower skirts again probably around day 21 (after they have finished their stretch) to ensure energy is directed towards top colas, and to ensure no funny business (herms) are going on underneath which is always a possibility with feminized seeds VPD: 1.22 🌡️: 78 Fahrenheit 💦: 60% 💡: 55% @ 20 inches (550 Ppfd) Just plain tap water until medium is saturated. Currently each lady gets about one gallon of water every 4 days.

Realized just how intense manual feeding for coco is. Takes up to 3 hours to mix the nutrients, water, and wait to empty the saucers. And I'm just doing this once a day, imagine the experienced growers feeding 3+ times a day. Definitely would be ideal to have a drip/drain system installed in the future. Pheno 2 got so lanky and heavy it fell over! A scrog and bamboo sticks would've helped a ton. Placed a peony cage to support the branches but it's hard to get it angled properly with the branches grown out. Boosted the PK again this week and halved the Bloom Nutes.

Had mold at the very end so ended chopping then down early. Delicious smell. Smells like vomit or piss and gets stronger as they continue to cure.

We have hit day 35 and everything's looking great! Only 2 girls out of 8 have started flowering in the past day or two, the remaining six have shown sex and I'm anticipating flowering to begin sometime this week. I gave them a full feeding today. I'm using H&G Coco A+B, which is used from seed to harvest, unlike many other nutrient brands. I will start using H&G Bud-XL in the next few days, luckily I got a bottle before the shops close for Christmas. I didn't expect these autos to get so big so fast, but I'm definitely not complaining. Update day 37 - 26/12/20 I fed the girls their first dose of bud-xl today. 5/8 girls have started to flower now, hopefully, in the next few days the other 3 start up! Update: Day 40 - 29/12/20 6/8 girls are flowering now, the two that aren't are the 2 weird pheno runts.. I've submitted a grow question regarding the 2 weird girls. I'm hoping that they're simply late to flower and not a photoperiod.. I've been feeding the girls 1-2 litres each every day, with a plain PH'd water run every 7-14 days. Update day 41 - 30/12/20 All the girls have started to flower now :D I'm incredibly happy to see them so healthy at this point too I was almost going to put the 2 runts outside but I'm leaving them inside at this point. Ende BW 3 sind wir nun. Die Blätter sind etwas matt und die hatte Lichtbrand, davon hat sie sich jetzt aber erholt und fängt an schöne Blüten zu bilden. Es gab noch etwas zusätzlichen Blütendünger von Wizzy's Garten aufs Substrat, sie wurde ordentlich entlaubt und lollipoped und jetzt kann es weitergehen.

The Blackberry Moonrocks have a really solid structure, they're looking super healthy. They're nice and big, but it does seem like they could be stretching a bit more. We might need to adjust the lighting or the nutrients to encourage them to grow taller. Well, another year has come and gone.
