Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 12 June 8-14 FLOWER 7 Sadly, my journey with Frostbanger is almost over. This grow started as an unnamed FBA2502 tester strain completely unknown regarding growth habits, size, flavor profile or smoke effect. I used LST on two plants: #1 because she was leaning over so I decided to pin her down immediately. I decided to LST Plant #3 when I saw her nodes were short and stems were tight. To quote Fastbuds “Growers must know that these difficult-to-grow plants will pose specific challenges in terms of environmental control and nutrition” , making them best suited for cultivators with some experience under their belt. I mention this because 2 plants #4 & #5 always looked lighter than their counterparts. Having overfed in the past grows, I did not want to repeat the same mistake, especially when the other plants were lush and green and did not look deficient. I thought it was genetics, but I found out that these two plants probably had nutrient lockout and would have benefitted from a good flush. Overall, I didn’t make mistakes with overfeeding or over trimming. I had to manually control the environment since the ventilation went out. I did pretty good at maintaining a functional environment. Plants #2 & #5 developed pretty reds in their upper buds and leaves probably because of the air conditioner. The A/C brought the night temperatures to 65-68. This week I am flushing with an anticipated harvest this weekend. I did the last plant pictures and videos and trichome shots on each plant. I did preliminary defoliation removing the remaining fan leaves. For most of the sugar leaves I trimmed off the ends leaving the base with all the frost. These are going into the trim bag to be washed into bubble hash. 24.02.24 - 1.03.24 Red hot cookies performing stunnigly as always. This is a true beauty and a wonderful plant. Very healthy and sturdy. Yesterday I already noticed some distinct candy mandarine aroma with some chocolate cookies mixed in. Lets hownshe develop those lovely colours ans smell. One of the older plants is already fed 7 times a day. Thats a record for me. In around 9l of coco.

Seedsman Auto Sour Diesel Haze coming up!!!👍 I love the Sour Diesel strain so I'm really looking forward to this one. Also, the Seedsman Auto Lemon I just harvested was very impressive. I'm going to go lighter on the training from now on because I want to be done by end of May/early June. My grow is in the attic and its gets crazy hot there in the summer, even in VT. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around 3 week I'll do a FIM cut/pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope LST only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. W19 (Harvest) 6-6 Last day before harvest. 7-6 Harvest day! Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent. 17-6 After 10 days of drying she is ready to be trimmed. While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 😅 End result #1: 37 Grams of dried buds. 35.84 Grams of dried trim and very small buds, into the freezer. I would describe pheno 1 as normal frosty, almost stone like buds, smells chemical with hints of dish soap (i really like it!) I cant describe the taste but it was very tasty out of the box, before the cure, very sad i only had 37 grams of it haha. End result #2: Around 70 grams of dried buds. 43.23 Grams of dried trim and small buds, into the freezer for bubble hash. I would describe pheno 2 as very frosty buds, little bit fluffy, smells very gassy, with a nice sour taste after curing a couple of months. Very interesting strain, i will definitely grow it again! I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them! La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, cambien el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y aplique una buena poda de ramas bajas, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, ya marcaron las preflores. BERRY BOMB AUTO (Bomb Seeds) x2 42 days from sprout. BERRY BOMB (A) : 57.9 cm, has shown some nice growth in height and has developed three main branches, and so I've been calling her the hydra. BERRY BOMB (B) : 77.7 cm, had a massive growth spurt (for my tent size at least) and is also maturing much quicker than the rest of the plants in the tent. I'm thinking I maybe should have topped her as well. She is also the first to smell of berries (lightly so far).

Day 29 Growth is very rapid, the plant has become a nice ball shrub from the leaf tucking and training DWC will get changed tomorrow, she is drinking alot, maybe 2L a day PH nailed at 6.0, ppms start at 700 and go as low as 500 when about to change the pool I will be careful with water temperature. It is very cold here already up in the mountains Day 30 Growth is very nice. The DWC change went very well, and the plant is still loving the above nutrient mix. Remember to mix properly! Micro first, and really stir it in, then your others, stir them in very well, followed by your powder solution, stir it in very well, usually for 2-3 minutes in the bucket or 10L bottle. I like the shape of the plant Ive trained with basic leaf tucking and defoliation PH is solid steady at 6.0, yellow colour on the test Day 31 Growth is extreme in every direction. all limbs are growing upward and outward Still determining which training methods I will use for this one Just leaf tucking now for the shape to form Day 32 added 3L to the DWC, she is consuming nutrients really well... going in its ~680 ppm, testing 18 hours later, 400ppm this is a very hungry plant! still leaf tucking the main fan leafs for the branches to grow upward, is working very well defoliated the under side of the plant, removed all 1st and 2nd limb node leafs and branches, they will only runt out and grow larf in the long run. Day 33 Extreme growth after defoliation, added 2.5 Litres to the DWC, the plant is drinking 2-2.5 litres a day uploaded video of the setup and plant Day 34 Growing very well, expanding everywhere. I added 2 litres to the DWC. Day 35 Growing well, performed some light LST on the lower limbs to expand a bit Added 3 Litres to the DWC, this plant eats alot of nutrients

Hi! Really awesome week behind us! Girls are growing soo quicke. Every day are higher and higher :) im trying be gently with nutriens and looks like its very enough for them :)will Back with some more pictures tomorrow. I thinking to do defoliation. I want to get rid of all leafs below net. From monday girls get canna booster for first time then week after i planning to start with pk 13/14. Also im order Terpinator so its its another powder for my ladies from new week :) my friend just love this product and recommend highly so i found to try :) fingers crossed i will back to you soon :) piece guys! Day 40 i found a mutations on jack herer leaf. In the centre of the leaf is growing new bud :) look on the last picture :)

Day 50 - Added another dehumidifier to the closet and now the RH is 53/55% under the canopy and 60/62 above it. Wish it was good enough to prevent mold and pests. The ladies are growing a lot, think we'll have big chunky colas if everything goes well! 🙏😍 Day 52 - Today I defoliated the ladies a little bit to allow more light penetration 💪 Day 56 - End of week 8. The girls are doing good: the PL keep on getting weight and developping bigger flowers, the Gelato is 1 or 2 weeks behind her, she has been in vegetative stage for longer and she's still stretching! Now she is about 20/25cm to the light but she seems to handle it. Light at 85/90%.
