Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. Overall, the garden is doing great. Had a scare with the WW with letting it dry out a little but it looks like its going to be fine. The pistils are starting to change color and leaves are starting to lose color but the buds are fattening up. I can't wait to see how they all turn out.

Se mantiene el uso de cloro a razón de 0.2 ml x 4 litros de agua. Baje la luz a 60 cm de la planta más alta del cultivo y se mantiene a 100% de potencia 23/11/24: Realicé defoliacion, mantengo el foco a 60 centímetros. EC se mantiene en 2.0 - pH 5.8

ok,ok,ok I know ive been slacking. Today is day 84. And after pondering for a very long time, i decided to chop her. The trichs were almost 100% white with lots of amber scattering around. Id say about 20% amber. She really hasnt gained any size in the past couple days, just more color. As you can see, the color on her is insane. She will be hanging in an herb drier for the next week before i trim her and cure her. She smells like gassy lemon candy. Super terpy. I aim to preserve those terps by taking it nice and slow. Stay tuned! Ill add more pics as time goes on. Idk why the video i uploaded is white-washed. Boooooo!

Monster plant ! So much trichomes 🙏😅 Bonus : the hermaphrodite problem was 100% resolved I removed directly passt 2 weeks everything , nothing was re-coming she focus only to do the bigger buds ever 😁🙏 and no one on the canopy was affected it's so great , so the thing is if you see that directly isolate the plant and remove everything , if you wait you're done !

Que pasa familia, vamos con la sexta semana de floración de estas Tropicana poison F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío , las 3 plantas seleccionadas fueron trasplantadas a su maceta definitiva, ya superaron el shock por el trasplante, estas semanas las paremos todas a floración. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de floración 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia. Las jodidas estiraron demasiado, veremos como acaban, no me gustan tan altas. Las flores están cogiendo un olor bastante curioso que todavía no puedo llegar a describir, espero la siguiente semana poder dar algo de información. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

I've mixed silica with other nutes before but I had read something earlier about bioavailability issues and I didn't want to risk it. My plants are the healthiest I've ever grown. I'm considering transplanting the large 10th planet that I'm light depping. I also need to develop my ipm and my nute schedule. Still gonna have to keep an eye onvthe water situation. Luckily I have a buddy in my corner that's co tinualkt Bern a great help. WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON. BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND THE PLANTS WERE LOVING THIS SUN. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!
