Hey GrowDiaries folks, it's been a while! Hope you've all been doing great :)
Got 2x bandads I've been nurturing over the past 6 months. Started them in March of this year and then basically stunted them in small pots on purpose. Did it to make sure they'd stay in my small veg tent until the end of summer. Which I've finally reached. Glad they survived the sweltering summer this year - it was really bad. Either way, these girls are raring to go.
Started them in reused PromixHP and then transplanted them just this week into used and fresh promix. I've been top-feeding terp tea grow every other week as well. Also layered down some clover seeds to hopefully get a nice cover crop going.
They're super happy adjusting to the new tent and 5 gallon containers. It's been 2 weeks since I first moved them in here and so I flipped them today. So 3 weeks from now we should be seeing buds :)
I also raised the light about 10-12 cm to hopefully encourage more vertical growth. I plan on lollipopping them in about a week or so, too. Cover crop is sprouting so that's a great sign also.
Plants are looking great. Both are about 60cm and just started spitting pistils last night. Should be in full-fledged flower by Thursday. No more training, just feedings. I'll get her started in terp tea bloom next week. This is the last week of terp tea grow.
Wow, this strain barely stretched during flower transition. Tallest plant clocks in at 76 cm - my tallest plant to date. I usually train wide and low so this is interesting.
They both have buds populating their tops now so we'll consider today day 1 of flower. Got em started on terp tea bloom, top-dressed once or twice a week.
ETA on harvest late november/early december
These plants are already putting off a nice sweet scent, like berries. The buds are developing very nicely as well. Most painless strain I've grown tbh.
Beautiful look at the start of week 3 flower, loving their chunk + purple color is popping up now 💜 Lower leaves have begun to die off as the plants focus their energy toward the buds and top half of the plant. These plants produce a strong grape-like odor that I can even smell from outside the room they're in. Loving it :P
These plants are killing it, love their smell and look! Every time I open the tent I'm blasted with a strong ripe plum scent. Then I get the visual of the awesome purpleness and it's just icing on the cake. I'm planning on feeding overdrive for the next two weeks until flush. Other than that im still doing the terp tea bloom once or twice a week. Love this formula of terp tea + promix soil. Seriously makes growing about as painless as it can get. Took photos both in grow light + with it off. You can really see just how dense and frosted up they are in those dark pics. They've still got 3 weeks left til chop so im surprised they already look this mature. Cheers fellow growers, stay stoney 😶🌫️😎
These plants had quite the life. Stunted them as teens to keep em short in my veg tent for many months. Once it was time for flower, they kicked right into gear. Harvest is super simple with this strain. Leaves can be plucked off with no issue, leaving Rock hard, beautiful buds. Beautiful light green color with hints of purple. This is a 10/10 strain in my book.
