A lot happened this week but she seems to be recovering and not worsening. I fed plain ph’d water end of last week but got a little too cavalier with too much top feeding and adding stuff without adjusting ph. All the top feeding is how debris and runoff kept getting into the base and mucking it up. I was out of homemade calmag so I had a bottle coming in the mail. I ended up adding calmag to not a lot of water and not ph’ing it and top feeding/pouring rest into the watering base later in the day after adding plain ph’d water. Wrong move. She appeared to slow down drinking but I chalked it up to a full base and plenty of top feed. Topsoil dried out very fast but I let her sit assuming she would start drinking eventually. This continued for 3-4 days, and also was happening to one of the photos I did the same thing to. Starting smelling something rank around this time so I checked the bases and found what is in pics 9+10. Ph was 8.5 and had this brown chunky film all over!! Took out all 3 bases and scrubbed thoroughly with soap and water and rinsed with some vinegar. I was worried about how dry and hard the soil/roots must be but I also didn’t want to do a full flush so close to her finishing. I opted to put 1/2 strength tiger bloom/big bloom and full strength calmag into full 1.8 gal water can ph’d to 6.5 and top feed slowly over ~20 min so it didn’t just rinse everything out. About 20% runoff which tested at 5.8 which seemed a little low but not as terrible as I feared. Cleaned the base back out after no more runoff and refilled with normal strength tiger bloom and calmag, ph’d to 6.5. This seems to have been the right move, 60 hours after flushing/cleaning/refilling, she has drank 75% of the base and topsoil is also not dried out. But we’re not done!!! The 2 photos also got a clean base and proper refill. The next day I checked the bases and found some insects on top of the water in ALL 3 bases shown in the last 2 pics. Teeny white things that kinda jumped on top of the water and seemed to stay underneath the fill port to get some of the light coming through? Hard to identify but I think they might have been springtails and not something destructive. Either way I made a weak vinegar/water solution and sprayed them aggressively over 24 hours and they seemed to die and not return. Only saw them in the bases and not anywhere on the plant. A lot of the leaf tip curling and spots spread from last week but seems to be contained and not worsening at the time of writing this. It seems contained to the top ~30% of the fan leaves and minimally on sugar leaves. While her buds did grow and thicken, I’m sure this set her back a little. All in all she had the water ph imbalance, definitely some light stress, nute burn and a little potassium deficiency. Got a little cheap digital microscope as well, trichomes still maturing with at least 30% still clear, plenty of white pistils as well. Some purple coming in on sugar leaf tips. Smell is much stronger. Idk if this is indicative of the buds as well or the “right way” but if I remove any small fan leaves I swipe the stem between two fingers to smell the oils. Still giving a very strong funky citrus scent with an earthy finish. Flipped lights to 12/12 for the photos at the end of the week. I just couldn’t wait any longer with how big the photos are. It also didn’t help that when I adjusted the light for the mimosa and moved it to the middle, the photos were getting much less and resulted in them stretching a lot with too much internode spacing. Not the end of the world but supercropping is definitely in their future.

F week 8.

All has been well so far in this 1st week. Noticed fungus gnats in my soil going into day 4 so I top dressed my soil (fox farm happy frog) with play sand and also I hung a sticky fly trap inside my grow tent. No signs of fungus gnats. Looking forward to lots of growth going into week 2

Week 16

Der erwartete Stretch hat jetzt so richtig gezündet: Die Pflanze schießt deutlich in die Höhe und gewinnt massiv an vertikaler Präsenz im Zelt. ​Dadurch, dass in der späten Vegetationsphase das zweite Topping ausgelassen wurde, entwickeln sich die dominanten Haupttriebe völlig ungeniert zu kräftigen, langen Lanzen. Trotz des rasanten Längenwachstums bleibt die Struktur stabil, und die Seitentriebe halten Schritt, sodass eine schöne, gestaffelte Etagenstruktur entsteht. An den Triebspitzen formen sich derweil die ersten deutlichen Vorblüten-Anzeichen – das charakteristische "Verrecken" der Spitzen weicht nun den ersten feinen, hellgrünen Härchenclustern. Das Laubwerk zeigt ein sattes, gesundes Profil und nutzt die Lichtfläche optimal aus. Die Nährstoffumsetzung im großen Stofftopf läuft wie geschmiert, und die Dame strotzt vor Energie für die anstehende echte Knospenbildung!

I've been feeding really heavy since my last post.. roughly 1200 ppm (2.4 EC). This is just to keep up with my C02 dosage. I've also been turning up my lights every other day trying to get as much light exposure as possible. Already giving off some awesome colours and odours. Trichome development has started too. I will be watering in some beneficial enzymes at the end of this week. I'm going to keep taking off large fan leaves whenever possible. I added a scrog net for the two plants in the back of the tent. Hij is net als velen van jullie verliefd geraakt op de hobby en we vinden het leuk deze samenwerking te mogen aankondigen met hem. Voor deze Grow hebben we Mephisto Genetics zaadjes besteld (zij zijn 1 van de eerste seedbanks die Autoflower zaden produceerde met ontzettend hoge THC-gehaltes van boven de 20%, wij wilden onze Nederlandse Growers hier wel eens van laten genieten. Autoflowers blijven ontzettend makkelijk en uit ervaring horen we dat wanneer je AF op de juiste manier kweekt je er genoeg groen plezier van zult hebben! Heel veel plezier van de eerste test-grow van Yaramang. Powered by Daily High Club Zoals iedere kweek begin ik met de koffie filter techniek. Ik pak een simpele koffiefilter van de Aldi, (ander merk werkt waarschijnlijk ook) maak deze volledig nat door hem 1 keer heen en weer te halen onder de kaart en doe het zaadje met de punt naar beneden (of iets wat zo veel mogelijk op een punt lijkt, ervaring blijkt dat 25% alsnog verkeer omzit en het zonder problemen overleefd) en vouw de koffiefilter dicht maar niet dat de vouwrand tegen het zaadje aankomt. De filter stop ik in een huishoudzakje die je kunt sluiten en sluit deze voor ongeveer 75% met de koffiefilter erin. Dit zakje leg ik in een donkere doos (zo'n "luxe" schuifdoos van Apple want die is helemaal donker) met de deksel erop en die doe ik in een donkere nachtkastje. Om de temperatuur te meten heb ik een temperatuur meter in hetzelfde doosje gelegd. Om de perfecte geadviseerde temperatuur tussen de 23-26 graden te hebben leg ik mijn Deco (modem) onder de doos zodat het doosje eigenlijk constant de perfecte temperatuur van 25 graden heeft. Na de eerste dag zag ik al een paar witte puntjes verschijnen door eventjes met een lamp door de filter en het zakje heen te kijken en binnen 48 uur zie je al dat de wortel zo'n 1 tot soms wel 3cm al is. Wanneer het witte worteltje ongeveer zo groot is als een vingertop is het tijd om te zaaien.

Das süßes fruchtige Aroma wird durch einen etwas Basilikum ähnlichen Geruch abgerundet. Allerdings ist von den angegebenen Nuancen wie Pfirsich oder auch Vanille nichts wahrnehmbar. 📆 Semana 5: La planta sigue con su ritmo firme y constante. Los cogollos siguen engordando, ahora con más densidad y compactación. La resina se vuelve aún más abundante, cubriendo prácticamente toda la parte superior y algunas hojas vecinas. El aroma se intensifica y se vuelve más complejo, con notas dulces y un toque terroso que empieza a destacar. La planta mantiene un consumo estable y adecuado de agua y nutrientes, sin mostrar estrés ni señales negativas. La estructura aguanta bien el peso, gracias a una ramificación sólida y entrenudos aún cortos para lo que suele ser una auto XL. La floración sigue en pleno apogeo, y se ve que la calidad apunta alto. Todo sigue marchando como debe, y la cosecha promete ser muy buena. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

In Woche 4 der Blüte gebe ich den Ladys die zweite Ladung Greenhouse Feeding BioBloom je 2.5g/L vom Topf. Dazu gebe ich per Gießwasser ab jetzt alle 2 Wochen 1g/L den BioEnhancer von Greenhouse Feeding und bei jedem Gießgang den Greenhouse Feeding Booster 0.2g/L. Die Ladys wurden auch großzügig entlaubt. jetzt Konzentrieren sie sich auf die Produktion der Blüten.
