🌸 Permanent Marker – Week 3 Flower Update Genetics: Permanent Marker (Zamnesia Seeds) Project: Dognabis Cup Example Grow 🌍 ⸻ 👑 Pheno Differences – A Tale of Two Sisters This week, our two Permanent Marker phenos are really stepping into their own identities: • Pheno #2 – steady and compact at ~90 cm, balanced and symmetrical, a queen that keeps her structure tight. • Pheno #1 – aiming straight for the sky 🚀 … currently standing at ~1.95 meters! A true rocket, stretching nearly twice the size of her sister while still keeping the same elegant leaf formation and bud structure. It’s fascinating to see two very different expressions of the same genetics side by side, a reminder of the beauty of phenotype variation and why selective growing is such an art. ⸻ 🌱 Why Week 3 Flower Matters Week 3 is one of the most critical weeks in flowering. Here’s why: • The plants are finishing their initial stretch and stabilizing in height. • Bud sites are setting in, pistils multiplying, and the true architecture of the flowers begins to show. • Nutrient demand shifts from pure vegetative growth into a more balanced call for energy to support flower production. This is the week where the plant defines her frame for the buds to come, too much stress or poor nutrition here can limit yield and structure later on. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition – Simple & Effective We’re keeping it straightforward, leaning on the Aptus Holland super Soil and organic program: • All-in-One Pellets – mixed in the soil from the start, slowly releasing balanced nutrition. • Regulator – helps with nutrient uptake and strengthens the plant structure. • Top Booster – added gently to encourage early bud development. • CalMag – to support strong cell walls and avoid deficiencies. The beauty of this system is its simplicity: the soil does the heavy lifting with the pellets, while liquid supplements fine-tune the performance. It’s a sustainable and efficient way to grow, avoiding overfeeding while keeping the plants happy. ⸻ 🌡️ Conditions – Heat & Resilience Temperatures have been on the high side — a challenge in many summer grows. Still, the girls are holding up beautifully: • Room temp: peaking around 31°C • Humidity: ~60% (a bit higher over the last few days) • Soil temp: ~25°C • PPFD (PAR): • Pheno #2 (compact at ~90 cm): 760–780 μmol/m²/s • Pheno #1 (tall at ~1.95 m): 1,000–1,100 μmol/m²/s, reaching closer to the light This difference in PPFD is a natural result of their height difference — with Pheno #1 stretching closer to the light, she’s getting a more intense dose. It’ll be interesting to see how she handles the higher intensity compared to her more compact sister. 💡 Grower’s Note – Balancing Different Phenos Under One Light It’s common in multi-pheno runs to have plants finishing at different heights. Here are a few ways to manage light distribution and avoid stress or uneven growth: • Raise the fixture slightly to reduce intensity for taller plants. • Dim the light (if possible) to bring PPFD down into the sweet spot, while adding supplemental side or under-canopy lighting to support the shorter pheno. • Low-stress training (LST) or gentle bending/tucking of the tallest colas can help bring the canopy closer to even. • Stools or risers under shorter pots can bring compact phenos closer to the light. Every grow space is unique, so it’s all about finding the right balance to keep both phenos thriving. Even in the heat, both phenos are thriving — a testament to both the genetics and the resilience of plants grown in living, well-prepared soil. ⸻ ✨ Summary • Week: 3 of Flower • Highlights: Stretch finishing, bud sites forming, pistils stacking • Pheno #1: ~1.95 m tall, strong stretch, receiving 1,000–1,100 PPFD • Pheno #2: ~90 cm compact, balanced, receiving 760–780 PPFD • Nutrition: Aptus Holland organic super soil program (pellets + Regulator + Top Booster + CalMag) • Conditions: Hot but stable; humidity up to ~60%; both phenos adapting beautifully ⸻ 🌿 Reflection – The Beauty of Pheno Diversity Pheno diversity can be both a challenge and a gift. On one hand, it asks the grower to adapt, balancing light, nutrition, and space for two very different personalities. On the other hand, it’s a privilege: seeing how the same genetics can express themselves in unique ways is part of the magic of growing. It reminds us why documenting and sharing is so important, because every plant has a story to tell, and together, they teach us more than any single run ever could. ⸻ 🏆 Dognabis Cup – Officially Opening! This week also marks an important milestone outside the grow room: the Dognabis Cup is officially opening! 🎉 📦 The welcome packs are arriving at participants’ doors, and growers are already starting germination. Soon, diaries will begin to appear, and the Cup will truly come to life. A few notes for everyone joining: • The more complete and detailed your diaries are, the better your chances of winning. Sharing not just the results, but the process, is what this Cup is about. • Every participant received two genetics — one autoflower and one photoperiod. That means two chances to win 🌱🌱 • This Cup is about more than competition: it’s about sharing experiences, learning from each other, and celebrating the plant together. From my side, I want to wish everyone the very best of luck. May your seeds sprout strong, your flowers shine bright, and your journey be joyful. 💚 Let’s make this first Dognabis Cup an unforgettable experience. ⸻ This week closes with a sense of wonder — two sisters, same genetics, but two completely different stories unfolding. 🌿 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Humidity levels still at a steady decrease, aiming to have humidity down in the 30s come flower time. Will be going on vacation for a week soon, so fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. Will be having a good friend of mine come by every couple of days to FaceTime me and make sure everything is handled as well as possible when the time comes.

I was able to identify the problem why the Bluedream grows so poorly. Some leaves had covered the substrate and mould had developed there. I removed these leaves, loosened up the substrate and installed another fan. It actually took 7 days for the pot to become noticeably lighter, it was practically standing in water and hardly any air was getting to the roots. The switch to flowering fertiliser also came too late. So all mistakes on my side that were caused by too much watering. Nevertheless, they are continuing to develop well and I hope the end result will be reasonably satisfactory.

🌿 Week 4 — Bushy & Thriving! 🌿 #PermanentMarker #ZamnesiaSeeds The girls really filled out this week — super bushy and thick growth all around! I topped them once and gave them a good defoliation to open things up, as they were getting quite dense. I bumped the feed up slightly to 600 ppm @ pH 6.0, still running the Aptus Clean Program with R.O. Water Conditioner, Regulator, and All-in-One Liquid. 💧 Raised the Future of Grow Black Series 600 a bit to encourage some stretch before the flip. I’ll be adding an under canopy light (UCL) as soon as it arrives, and later this week I’ll set up a trellis/net for support. The plan is to flip them after week 5. So far, they’re looking really nice and healthy — one pheno is even showing a bit of color on the tops already. Excited to see how they develop from here! 🚀

Если у кого есть опыт с подобными лампамы, пишите, интересно узнать какого результата вы добились. week intel: we are going through slowly stresses : just a little E.C stress around 1.4 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 700 ppm - 1.4 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster around 327 ppm - 0.64 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 255 ppm - 0.5 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : know your plant tolerance limit of E.C stress once you saw the very very little yellowing on tips of leaves , that's the sign to don't go further , never reach that limit if you want a high quality buds, in my case tolerance is 1.4 and i'll reach to that level only once a week to cause precision stress , love your plants and have a happy growing!

Schau mal wieder rein ✋😎

This week I had to Lollipop again (I know is very late and I hope I didn’t stressed the plant to much). My canopy is so tick and so many overlapping leaves and buds in the center of the plant that don’t receive enough light or any at all , n combination with the RH swings that I got going on (45 and 63 RH), I’m very afraid of mold. I should have did a better job at Lollipoping from day 21. I’m inexperienced grower and I didn’t knew better. I decided is better to risk to shock the plant a little bit risking a reduction in yield then get mold or pests and lose it all. My 30 pin dehumidifier works great with the AC but sometimes when the AC( compressor) stops my RH jump at 62% -63%, witch I don’t like . I’m trying to keep the humidity around 50% but in such a small room between the AC and Dehumidifier I got big swings in temp ( 75-82) and RH ( 45%-63%) witch is not ideal but is nothing that I can do. I played with the AC and Dehumidifier setting a lot trying to keep humidity around 50% and temp around 80 degrees and that’s the best I can. My AC is set at 82 degrees and my Dehumidifier is set at 45% RH. Also during the lights off (day time) is very hard to keep the temperature In control when outside is 110-115 degrees with my portable AC (1400BTU) in the 4x 6 closet. Is crazy but I do my best to keep temp under control. This is another rocky mistake I made is trying growing weed DWC in the middle of summer where temps are 105-115 degrees constant in a closet without centralized AC port and at second level in the building. LOL Also I think I underfed her (630 PPM TDS, PH 5.8-5.9) ) and I got a Ca deficiency witch I think is the reason my flowers developed slower then I anticipated. Hopefully I’m wrong and everything will be good. P.S. I got a little bit of calcium deficiency caused by salt buildup (to much PK boost) despite my earlier belief that is underfed. I increased the PPM from week 4 (630-640TDS) to 680 TDS) on week 5 while I kept the PK booster at 3+ml l per gallon. Slightly my PPM’s was rising in my reservoir for few days until I decided that my plant can’t take that much nutrients (PK). 2-3 days after I increased the TDS I’ve noticed more spots on the lower leaves with tip burns on top ( first signs of PK toxicity). One day later found spots and yellowing of the leaves on top of the plant that indicates Ca deficiency caused by salt buildup ( PK toxicity) and reversed osmosis (hope I’m not wrong). Going into week 6 I lowered the PK boost at 1.5ml / gallon and total TDS to 640 PPM. Seems like leaves damage to stop and my PPM to stay stabile at 630-640. Trying to keep PH at 5.8 max 5.9. I will post pictures of my Ca deficiency/ PK toxicity. If you guys have any suggestions please leave me a comment.

22 days of Flower done, all pots have stabilised except the Small Ghost, I don't think it is genetically 'Small' as it's cut is just as vigorous as the other clones. Never recovered as quickly from the lockout as the others I suppose. Now, I will start slowly increasing E/C . How high I go for each plant? We shall find out together. I have begun to lolly-pop the plants, a process I will continue to do right up to flush, If its gonna be larf it's coming off! These plants are a lot taller than I had planned, the lockout and full recovery took longer than I expected, + days lost due to a quest for new coco. It will only cost me time in the end, and with big root systems only feeding 1 .77 sq ft of canopy after thinning, bending etc. It should not hurt my yield. I also realise there will probably be a large, 4 or so week window for these plants finishing, I can open up the space a bit then to help finish late bloomers. (I have a UVB lamp at the ready, to Speed it up at the end.( In more ways than one?) After more bending I will add some doses of silicone over a few days. Help repair the branches that I have Crush Bent. The silicone also toughens up the plants against Insect attack. When using Silicone I dilute before use to prevent precipitation of elements. Day 24 - Maltezerz This plant is most advanced into flower, plenty of resin being produced. Smell is forest fruits and berries first, then Afghan Hash with a distinct chocolate finish. If it keeps a similar flavour profile to the end and has the promised hit of THC, Wow. Orangesicle. This plant is a lot more stretchy than French Cookie parent. (Tangie influence) The smell is powerful and a distinct Orange but a bit on the sharp synthetic side of the profile. Probably change and mellow with maturity. Blue Sherbalato, Tons of resin with a distinct sharp citrus sherbet smell. GTH 1, The smell is complex 'Dirty Lemon floor polish' then Diesel, then underneath a musty mushroom type smell. Not unpleasant, but not that inviting. GTH 2 and 3 Clean fresh lemon scent very pleasant and lifting. GTH 4 This is also dominated by a lemon scent, but different, Sticky Sweet Lemon, like Drizzle Cake, an oily thick heavy lemon aroma. Scotts OG. This is weird, in the morning this plant smells like a custard slice, by lights out, the smell has a tinge of sour milk or yogurt to it . No hint of the Ginger and Spice of the grow phase stem rub! This plant is quite slow out of the blocks and stretched as much as the GTH's. No real resin production up to now. Wedding Cake. Beautiful complex aroma. It smells like a Panattone with a touch of Black Hash underneath. Different to the US cut I have grew before, which was high yielding and very potent but lacked much aroma at any stage.

Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.
