02/24/25 - Short Facts: - Plant is looking horrible, quite many leaves have necrosis -- had to cut many off - VPD increased to 1.2, but I can only get it up to 1.1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, what is there to say? I haven't had as much time lately, so I haven’t been keeping a close eye on the plants in general—especially on the 1:Walt. But a few weeks ago, I noticed that something was wrong and concluded that it had to be a sulfur deficiency. So I bought Epsom salt, which contains both sulfur and a lot of magnesium. And here was my first mistake: I misdiagnosed the deficiency. My next mistake was using way too much Epsom salt—far more than I should have. That was a big mistake, which only made things worse. This is how the plant started to look like, but unfortunately, I caught it too late—like I said, I was quite busy. It was so obvious that something was going wrong. The leaves at the top of the plant looked worse and worse by the day. So I did some research and came to the following conclusions: - I misdiagnosed the problem. It was never a sulfur deficiency but actually a manganese deficiency. The small spots all over the leaves later became necrotic, eventually killing some of them. - By adding too much Epsom salt, I disrupted the balance between calcium and magnesium. This inhibited calcium uptake, leading to the symptoms of a calcium deficiency as well. I bought some "micronutrients" that do contain manganese and I watered it in and also sprayed the foliage. Right now, the plant looks so bad that I don’t know if she’ll be able to finish flowering or if I’ll have to do an emergency harvest. The next big problem is that I won’t be here for about ten days, starting on Wednesday next week. So yeah... not good.

Got a breeding project underway to make a few crosses with my master kush male. Its very nice branch structre, stocky stature, and tight internodal spacing will definitely attribute to some sexy figured ladies. Plus it has an enormously skunky stem rub, and his foliage Danks pretty good as well. I will be creating Fireman's Fruit, Mk-6ix, and Oozaru Kush. Than I will make new diaries phenohunting my new crosses. Also will working out the new genetic lines. So I will make diaries for every new generation of offspring. The indoor plants are developing a mobile nutrient deficiency(newer growth is pulling from older leaves)in the lower leaves. Nutrients are being locked out(too much of one nutrient is locking out the others in the soil, or temperatures are too cold in the soil) or they are being tied up in solution whenever I mix the lotus nutrients(I’m adding bloom and boost into the same gallon, so maybe the chemicals are reacting with each other and becoming unavailable to the plant). On top of my nutrient dilemma, fungus gnats have found their way to my moist soil and are being a nuisance. From what I found they’re surviving off of my woody material in the soil and will soon try to establish it as a home so I’ve got to go get some IPM. Outdoors is vibing with the pest pressure so I’ll continue to let it do it’s thing.

Bueno familia ya finalizamos con el proyecto de las Runtz de seedstockers, son una cepa bestial. La verdad que el secado muy bien 9 días en Malla y a los botes, 40% humedad y 21 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado, aparte deshumidificador enchufado 24 horas al día. En resumen la cepa es muy fácil de cultivar, el germinado se me resistió igual es complicado el germinado pero el resto es simple resistente fácil de alimentar pienso que es rápida los tricomas ya estaban hechos y se me hecho el tiempo encima. Welcome to my Tropicanna poison diary Genetics by: Sweet seeds Well, almost finished, i could harvest now, but imma wait for a bit more narcotic effect. The buds are covered in a thick layer of trichomes and resin, so much that the color of the bud is almost hidden under a silverish layer. I added a lot of pictures but pics are not so good this time. The combination of green sensation + terra aquatica's pro bloom (former general hydroponic ghe) has caused this severe looking lockout, but the buds are firm, next to rocksolid i think. Smell is intoxicatingly strong, going to check everyday from now on the trichs, dont want no more than 50%amber

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes!
