Here's an update on a new week of vegetative growth for this beautiful Strawberry Cola Sherbet from Sweet Seeds, which is developing quite well, although I had to interrupt fertilization due to a small root blockage, a mineral buildup because the pH meter has been miscalibrated for some strange reason and I had to water at least twice with an incorrect pH, which has caused the plant to be unable to absorb these minerals. I have already watered with distilled water, adjusting the pH to 6.0. I hope it will return to normal within a week and I will fertilize again gradually, as I expect it to bloom in 1 or 2 weeks. Thank you for the understanding — clarity and honesty always come first here 🙏 ⸻ 🌱 Week 4 overview We are now in Week 4 of vegetative development under a 12/12 light schedule from seed. The Skywalker OG girls are looking outstanding: • Deep, lush green coloration • Strong, healthy leaf structure • Calm posture with no visible stress • Excellent overall vigor These plants are clearly happy and well-settled in their environment. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & training notes At this stage, the plants are reaching 7–8 nodes, with some approaching 9 nodes, and we’re beginning to see early branching. Training so far has been: • Gentle leaf tucking • Light leaf bending • No aggressive manipulation • No intentional stress The goal right now is simply guidance, not force — helping light reach lower sites while allowing the plant to stay relaxed and balanced. Branching is happening slowly and naturally, which is exactly what we expect under 12/12 from seed. At this moment, the plants are still prioritizing root system expansion over top growth, and that foundation will pay off later. ⸻ 🌱 Why growth looks the way it does (12/12 from seed) A quick reminder for anyone new joining us: Under 12/12 from seed: • Vegetative growth is more compact • Plants focus heavily on roots early on • Structural decisions are made carefully by the plant • Flowering does not start immediately This is not a race — it’s a controlled, intentional build-up. ⸻ Nutrition & overall health The current nutrition plan is clearly doing its job. They're really starting to bush out, I think I'm liking the topping of all tops on the whole plant 1 time. Makes it easy to train as well. We'll see how they compare in harvest amount to my LST long veg plants.

Average yield and high quality bud. Fingers are full of hash and she’s a stinky dense plant!

Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

Week 4 flower The frost is everywhere and smells amazing. No defoliation no stress shes beautifull

End of week 6, start of week 7 now, going to be flipping today, all the plants are very healthy, deep green with no signs of any issues, the net is mostly filled out and should hopefully get near full coverage by continued tucking through nthe stretch period. The food has been switched to base nutrients better suited for flower, will be using big bud and overdrive from the advanced line. Wish me look on the next phase 😀

Going well, they are all drinking consistent, feeding them a pretty high dose at the moment, around 2.2ec, signs of burning and spotting int he leaves, think that might be few issues with A

Ending week 5. Paradiso is finishing the fastest and has the biggest nugs. Banana clipz is taking the longest to flower. Banana clipz is greasy feeling and smells alot Diesel started to smell like cheese and funk but the sour lemon smell is still there. Lung Buster is the frosiest. Turnt smells the most and the smell changed a bit to more of a sweet berry smell. The peppery garlic funk is still strongly there.

That’s impressive. This strain is amazing. Couldn’t be happier. Will keep going with this nutrient schedule until the two Royal Highness grow a bit more. I should do some LST asap because there are lot of hidden and trapped leaves under the bigger ones. Update: Did some LST to uncover the hidden leaves. I’m just a bit scared about how big she will get after this.

Day 77 I'm running out of vertical space for pinus contorta, this weekend i will open the box to move the leds higher and will try to do some decent photos. At this point i've added the Pinus purple matcha to the diary because she's huge and impossible to not notice, should be around 1,5m² almost 150cm tall. Had to do a very risky move and "soft crop" 2 apicals because of burn risk, too close to the leds. I wasn't expeting a freakin' tree like that! Day 79 Jeez plz stop growing in height!! After this shaky video i raised the leds 10 cm, now i'm for real out of space.. I'm adding 10 to 12 liters every day, alternating ro with only silica one day and the other with nutrients.

Monkey Bomb is pushing past its 8 week flower time now with at least another 14 days of strong growth left, the resin build up on this strain is straight from its lineage and it shows very strong gassy smell and resin like glue . Great strain for the patient grower thank you @bombseeds

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.
