Heavy defoliation done on 12/22 EC 2.6 strong solution to help with recovery from defoliation in flower

Tropicanna Ppison XL Auto- Outside W6F4 8/3-9 I wish I could share this week’s weather with you. It was sunny and comfortable in the 70-80s with 50% humidity. This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My Tropicanna Poison is short under 3 feet and has a good node spacing so there is space for air flow. The buds forming don’t have many hairs yet but the trichomes forming on the sugar leaves are visible. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are tight throughout. This may be a concern for bud rot if the rain and humidity return. I’ll keep a close watch, but so far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. I chose this strain a year or two ago and had not had the opportunity to grow it yet. This strain is from SweetSeeds red line and 85% of the seeds produce reds and pinks. The EC level is now stable at 1.3, and she seems to be responding well to it. Over the next two weeks, I plan to gradually decrease the nutrient levels and then start the flushing process. Starting week 4 flower now. Theses ladies are doing great. No signs of any deficiency thus far. Decided to hold off on potash at this point. Noticed ladies fighting for light hard and middle lady trying to take it all. I removed the exhaust fan and opened the tent on the sides. Then I added another king led 4000w light. Both 24 in with bloom only turned on at a par of 850. That was done on Saturday, and by Sunday could already see a big difference in bud production. Added recharge with last watering. Hoping the ladies continue on happy and building!

Wow I had my led way to close at 22" should have been 34" but live and learn . They were also a little river watered but I've fixed those issues and given the girl fresh water then a nutrient feed and foiler spray. Very excited to see what next week bring in living the genetics resilient already is great ..besides that not much to say but have a great week canna family ...

Day 78🌱🙂🍊 This lady is doing her great job, Buda are increasing rapidly 🌱 difference between top flower and bottom is evident. For this reason I’m quite sure I’m going to cut in two times, around 85/87 days I’ll cut the high part of biggest bud and around day 95 the rest of the plant. Day 80🌱🌱🌱🙂🍊 I’m going to go up to 90/95 days, smell now is really strong 👃🌱🤣 I keep giving some water when is really dry because some parts of the plant still needs it. Day 81 🌱🌱🌱🌱🙂🍊 Hi all fellows, today a big defoliation cleaning to improve light in the bottom Part of the plant before harvest. I tought to harvest in like 10 days but as I have some water yesterday I noticed that she’s been quite not drinking anymore. I’ll give another 2/3 days before harvest.
