Grow Journal Week 3: Bloom Phase Progress 🌼 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I’m thrilled to share the third week of the bloom phase in our grow journal! Here are all the details for Week 3: Weekly Progress We are at the end of Bloom Week 3, and the plants are thriving! Even our previously problematic plant has made a full recovery. My favorite plant, the one on the left, has claimed an entire half of the tent for itself. The stretch phase has now concluded, and I am very pleased with the results. Watering and Control Systems The watering system is operating smoothly, even with the increased water consumption of the ladies. The Blumat and TrolMaster systems are working without any issues. Challenges In Week 2, I performed a heavy defoliation since I had some time that day. Although it was a bit early, the ladies have recovered well. Due to limited time over the past two weeks, and this likely continuing until the end of December, I've been doing my best to keep the journal as current as possible. Goals and Expectations In the next two weeks, I expect my buds to start swelling, and I am very excited about this development. Thank you for following along, and stay tuned for more updates! 🌿✨

Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes

Week 2 - the growth is very good and I can see a healthy root development at the bottom. I watered twice this week - a little dryback in the first weeks should be good to promote roots. DLI 20 / EC 1.2

Start of week 2, day 8 of flowering. The plants are sagging a bit in these photos, as I took them just before feeding, except for the pics in the grow room, they are just after feeding. So far, they all look good and healthy, a few leaves are showing some small deficiency signs, hopefully that will go away as additional nutrients are added over the grow cycle.

Day 77 - June 18 June 18 - 06.00AM One Amber trichome found. Will water with 5L of water at 6.3PH this morning. Wilted leaves are still springy. I'd like to defoliate but will wait until they're completely wilted. June 18 - 06.45AM Soil is still cold, a little moist. I'll water at approximately 9AM June 18 - 10.45AM Removed dead leaves to avoid pests (as sharing tent with outdoor plants at night). June 18 - 10.45AM Watered 4.5L to runoff at 6.3PH. Time taken approximately 1 hour to saturate soil. June 19 - 09.00AM Trichomes are starting to morph from clear to cloudy. Each clear head is now about 50% cloudy. There are slightly more light amber trichomes appearing. I suspect just under a week remaining. June 20 - 07.00PM Found another amber trichome on a more developed cola. With more half-clear trichomes becoming cloudy. I suspect I'll chop in 5 days or so. Leaf necrosis is developing further with some fan leaves (with trichomes) are decaying. I'd really like to see more purple by this stage, but I'll settle for a pineapple fade. June 22 - 08.20AM Temperature ate 78F at ground level. TOO HIGH! Had to turn the AC off due to partner being cold overnight. Possibly lost terpines+potency - frustrated. Trichomes still seem too clear for my liking. June 22 - 10.40AM Watered 4-5L to runoff at 6.3PH. Should have watered yesterday, though pot was still relatively heavy. Removed one dead leaf resting on budsite. June 23 - 06.00AM Removed a few dead leaves. Trichomes are still cloudy. Some milky, it's close - though little to no ambers. June 24 - 07.00PM Removed more dead leaves + 1 healthy accidentally. Trichomes are about the same. Removed all LST ties.

This plant was an absolute joy to trim. This plant consisted of buds and stems only, so I am actually curious what the dry weight will be.

Earlier watering was fed with nutrients, and my temperature is not low so I should go with minimum to medium quotas with more water avoiding burns, without much runoff mixing with soil compounds and mycorrhizae for better performance I know they need a calcium magnesium for better performance the problem is money I will continue with the use of salt Epson the option I have at the moment, direct sulfur in the soil mix has helped me hear a noticeable change. watering ph 6.2 solution temperature 20 ° - 0.50 g of large white microreceptor 2 days earlier sprayed with ppm-free water via leaves - lights off to serve as a cool-down shower is great for stomata . First week of plain water but the fading occurred much sooner than that. The chop is set on the 15th of September so very close! Almost all of the trichomes have turned to milky. I plucked a couple more seeds to see the stage and they're pretty much all ready. I decided to separate them in different bags depending on what plant they grew on. I believe the ones that only had the hermie's genetic should logically be worst than the others so it's better to keep them seperate. We'll see each other again on the 15th :) ____________________________________________________________________________ Edit: I realized that I miscalculated a lot of things and that my diary is not as accurate as I wanted it to be. The correct chop date would be the 12th of September. The trichomes that are still clear still have a bit of time to turn white. I switch to 48hrs of darkness on the 10th.
