Had concerns over damping off towards start of the week as seedlings tall leggy and leaning over, reduced light height to 8 inches and increased power to 60%. Last time I grew autos the light was a lot lower and whilst good yield nice smoke they were very bushy and short and stocky so experimenting a little with light height this time to increase spacing between nodes, 20 inches was way too far, being careful though as lights 450w, brill light spider farmer but gotta watch power a bit. The drop in light height and introduction of small fan making the plants wobble slightly has dramatically improved their strength and thankfully no damping off. Extraction fan on permanently set to 1 or two so low settings, nice air flow. Also sealed a couple light leaks so plants are getting their restorative darkness for 6 hours a day and overall touch wood looking fit and healthy. Pleased with the amount of growth after two weeks. Very light touch with nutes and watering at mo, .4 litre daily with root juice and bio heaven promote healthy organic soil. Fingers crossed so far so good. Happy growing all. :)

week 10 of budding complete....#1 is in jars after 5 days drying on the stems so dry to touch and squeeze too and now in mason jars being burped like babies for last few days...smoked a little after just cutting a gram bud and let air dry in little pieces...So Pleased.....rocket fuel...green gold...where was I ...hmm delicious...being flushing for over a week as just giving water...feel the GAIA is still feeding these beasts and am going to keep the ride going....most trichomes are now milky white ..like #1 was as it was ripe earlier...will take one in a few days and let the other one go...as a test of sorts as what I will find out is when was best time to cut down and use that info for the next grow...will be in no hurry to take those clones as will have over pound from these fine ladies combined easily...got to get more mason quart jars...

the residues of a rainy spring are revealed and after two days of light rain the girls responded differently while those in the smallest containers matured the largest exploded apart from a few small cuts of broken branches and an apex with little botrytis I differentiated disinfected and carefully selected always washing the pruning shears with simple water, the skywalker is beautifully cooked think I put some dried buds in the shed in toilet paper 5 days in the shed in the heat made it take effect !!😱 imagine when this tanning 6 months! And the coolest highlight will be: Lady Jealousy will soon be able to enjoy the whole place in the sun for the "grande finale". The smell of the two Sweet Seeds totally upsets me! Day 106. Girls are really fatten up, even bottom airy buds, get some mass into them on Gorillas. Control Garden is like two weeks behind, so i will feed those 3 longer, all other girls in the middle of this week will get theirs last feed. So approx end of week 18 is chop day for RQS run. Very sad situation, trying not to think about pollination . Never had pollinated garden before, so its hard to make any calls ... Time will show. Day 108. Girls avoided pollination with minimal damage .. Found like 20 real seed spots, hope it will be double that max in total. They are fading and maturing, one more big mistake, left them too bushy , they needed lolitoping higher, loads , millions of airy smallest of all smallest buds ;)) One Cookie going crazy purple .. Pure water and looks like all job is done, still checking for hermies every day ... You search for mistakes instead of enjoying , stupid situation really ... Day 109. Three Gorillas are ready, i don't know how, but calaxies went pinky,violet,grey, didn't mature enough, so really airy and leafy buds.... All pistils are brown and curly Trichs are milky with at least 30% amber. I think they just couldn't make it ; Too weak light, Too small pots, Went too gentle with lolitop, mostly airy shitty outdoor type buds, Had pollination, could stop them from maturing and just putting efforts into seeds. Made mistake with watering almost dried them out on week 5 of flower, after that many pistils died and not many new flowers formed. Bad attempt with CheckPoint intention, back to drawing board ... ;)) Night 110. Girls are ok, smell amazingly, fades slowly but steady. One Cookie went absolute purple, really nice colours, but no buds tho .... And don't know how i did my homework, but after checking seedfinder for flowering time info i don't know how i decided to go with this strains ... Gorillas are amazing, just low yielders. Control Garden is flying, some buds are real size grenades, pure joy to watch them grow ... Happy Growing !

I’m doing this week a day early for everyone because I have to leave for work for a few days and I just got back from 3 days of being gone. This is the first and second time I’ve ever left them. Usually this late in the game I can get a little longer out of the reservoir though. I cleaned it when I got back and started fresh to get these ladies down the home stretch. One is obviously ahead of the other by about a week which is normal for me and she’s getting a fade and some foxtailing on two of the top sites which there isn’t much I can do since the lights are all the way raised up. I’m going to just cruise into the finish with moderate nutrients and bounce the ph from 6.4 until they drop to 5.6 so they get all the nutrient uptake. My calendar shows this as the beginning of week 6 compared to the diary but we’ll keep watching as the purple bleeds into the trichomes. Thanks for looking!

It’s amazing watching these plants grow, it’s been an experience already and so much to go with this grow and with all the learning to come I hope it looks okay to you guys anyone who would like to comment please do I’d love to hear other’s thoughts!

Defoliated and lollipop the bottom of the plant at the end of week 2. Plant seems healthy, did an early top dress of 80% bloom 20% veg and I have began using the tribus bloom microbes inoculant at every watering. I will also be making banana peel tea to feed a boost this week.

Tapered off the nutrients over the last week, now down to just the bloom supplements for this week then just water to finish. Harvest is getting closer now and I'm so excited to get these babies cut, dried and cured!

As flores começaram a engordar bem mais rápido agora. Dá para perceber no decorrer da semana o aumento no volume dos buds. Devido ao peso eles estão pendendo para os lados. Tenho que colocar arames para mantê-las na vertical. Isso também melhoraria o espaçamento dos buds.

Plants looking great. Final week, flushing with filtered water for 7- 10 days. Plants ripening nicely, very dense colas. I noticed a spider mite outbreak last week, it has spread from one plant to the a few others, not a bad infestation, today predator mites will be released onto every plant throughout flush. Predator mites have worked great in the past. **predator mites phytoselius have been applied, hopefully they can clear up the infestation before harvest. When the plants are cut down and hung to drt any remaining mites will crawl up the stem as the plant dries. I will wrap the stem in double sided sticky tape.

I've repotted into her final 15l auto pot. The procedure I used is as follows. Items needed.. Clay pebbles Hydro coco 60/40 clay pebbles/Coco. Silicium Flash Startrex Mycrotrex Bactrex And of course Bio tablets X2. 15l of hydro coco was mixed with 25g of Silicium Flash and 25g of Startrex. Mixed up well to form the main substrate. I filled the autopots to a depth of 5cm with clay pebbles and then layered up the amended substrate making a nice hole for my 300ml nursery pots. Into this hole I sprinkled in 5g of Mycrotrex and then dropped the seedling in. This then gets 2 biotabs pushed 5-8cm into the substrate and 1l of water mixed with 5ml of Bactrex. I put domes over them but I think the Rh was a bit too high and this lady seems to have gone a bit floppy. Not an issue and shee will be fine in a day or two now I've removed the domes. I need to top feed the autopots for a couple of weeks so the root system can establish before I transfer to my flower room and the gravity feeding trays..🤘🏼👍🏼 I'm keeping temps at a constant 25c and lights are on 24hrs a day. Rh is sitting around 65%.it too low hence the domes but then it goes too high. I'm going to run a couple of days with the 65% but vpd over 1 is a bit high for so early.. we shall see.

Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

Day 33 Update Wow!! So for the first time I have opened up GROWDIARIES on a computer, and I must say this is a much better layout and easier to use than my cell phone. I will be doing updates like this from now on. So with the help from @DabCrab I finally came up with a nutrient schedule that I will stick to. I have honestly been all over the place when feeding and it was time for a change, so this will start next feed. I also have decided to switch my light cycle to a 12-12 to determine gender of plants, and will revert back to veg cycle once what ever males are pulled out of the room. I plan on vegging for a very long time, have not decided on how many weeks. I guess however long it takes to fill up the scrog net that I made. I will make the light switch at the start of week 6. Week 10 getting some slight deficiencies just trying to stay on them and she is drinking 5 gallons a day by herself 🔥 Running GH flora gro/micro/bloom at 10/7/5ml with 2ml calmag plus and sulfur

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!
