Week 6 of flower is done and the 4x4 is progressing nicely! The buds are all starting to fatten up, I'm especially loving Hella Jelly #1, especially the candy terps she's giving off. The Vanilla Frosting is the other big player in the tent, with the second Hella Jelly a bit smaller than the other two. The Jelly Donutz will be the last to be harvested, as she is developing her flowers more slowly. This tent will be a staggered harvest when it comes to it. These plants have been so easy to grow this run. The Autopot Tray2Grow living soil bed bed has been solid throughout the run, and this past week I installed Blumat Blusoak tape for the 2x4 Grassroots bed, which, up until this point, I have been hand watering. It always amazes me how automatic watering eliminates like 90% of the tent work. It is such a game changer, and the plants love it even more than hand watering because they drink how much they want when they want it! Hella Jelly is supposed to be a fast finisher (45 days sometimes!), so after this next week I will begin checking trichomes. My guess is another 2-3 weeks at least. The trichomes will guide me! 12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

These big bad buds keep swelling day by day. Just went under 12 hours today. One branch broke partly off, fixed and wired it up.. hoping not to get strong winds.. still thinking about some kind of transparent rain cover.. any ideas? If i had had more space and time, the plants could have been trained so much better! I also feel like i made a pretty good environment, with the good soil and perlite, and the kelp meal and basalt flour - and additional nutrients. I read that organic nutes give better taste and terpenes, and chemical give higher potency. So I’m hoping for the best of both worlds with these buds..

Here’s the beginning of flowering stage and the last day of first week I made defoliation to them and give them some training. I’m so glad to see those girls growing fast and more in this week 1 so I’m so excited and looking forwards to next week . can’t wait to see the beautiful flowers.

Germinated them directly in the soil with natural sunlight, achieving a 100% success rate. All came out the soil with remarkably thick stems already, excited to see how these old school genetics will behave. Lots of growth during their first week of life, reaching the end of it with 2 pairs of leaves each. We surely got some sturdy girls here. Sunset Sherbet had some damage from struggling to hatch and is now slowly recovering, I’m sure she’ll catch up with time. Nothing good nutrition and proper lighting won’t fix. Bruce Banner turned out to be incredibly big for her age, never grown a seedling like her! You can tell she’s already finding her germination vase too small. Making a statement with her presence. Biscotti Mintz also looking big and very healthy. Let’s watch them grow and see what they’ve got 🌱💪

- Day 49 Did a flush today with 20 liters of water (I did put smaller amount of nutrients in the water as you don't wanna strip all the nutrients out of coco when flushing. Got pH back up to 6.0. overshot the target a bit, but that's fine. Will check run off pH again with the feed tomorrow. Day 50 Last days flush worked! run off pH today was 5.8, perfect! Starting to build down the grow amount in the nutrient feed from now on. Day 54 Been giving her 3 liters everyday but might have to give her more, barely getting any run off now. The buds are bulking up really nicely right now though. Day 55 Gave her a 6 liter feed today, first 3 liters with a lower nutrient amount to flush out the pot a bit. had to tie up some side branches to the bigger oens because the buds are getting to heavy for the thinner stems to carry.

Mandarin XL auto is growing great. She is progressing more into a flower stage. Everything is looking really promising at the moment. Nothing new to report this week. Esta semana los nutrientes siguen de la misma manera, es notorio el exceso de Nitrogeno por ende se disminuira en los próximos riegos, se realizaron podas apicales en los clones que no les hice anteriormente para que alcanzaran más altura. Dentro de esta semana instalare la malla scrog Kanovi para guiar los vigorosos brotes. Además esta semana ya esta retomando el crecimiento la planta madre variedad Tangie la cual cumplió su ciclo de propagación por esquejes y porfin florecerá. Постараюсь быть краток , я не то ,чтобы ахуел с конечного результат или я там приятно удивлен , да нет же - я рассчитывал в разы меньше снять , просто наделялся снять ,хотя бы 0.5кг с 4ех кустов этих - по факту вышло 998.5 сухого с 4ех растений - огромных ,красивых , с невероятным терпеновым профилем соцветий ! Over all was an amazing grow, super sticky dense nugs with smell of berries, highly recommended for everyone!!

So I am entering week 2 of the 12/12 flip, the ladys are showing sex so hopefully later in the week I will get actual pistils so I can start counting down flower days. Day 9 seen pistils but I had to perform a major defoliation as under the canopy was bad and I didnt want powdery mildew due to leafs sweating ect. Day 10 24 hours after defoliation, you could not tell I done a thing to them, im hoping its just a odd leaf now and then thru the rest of the flowering period. Any advice is welcome guys 🙏 I will be adding more fans for airflow. Day 12 of the flip and the girls are on there way to becoming ladys lol I think there's going to be a few nice kolas in there when done, ordered the new box fan for the floor to create more airflow to reduce the risk of pm and mold. I need to top up soil as roots are showing so under the net I go again. Wish me luck.

Los ultimo 2 riegos ya fueron con solo agua PH 6.0. 🦍🍌 - Las Gorilla Banana siguen con exceso de nutrientes, un color verde intenso en las hojas y ya tienen días que no logro ver cambios en las flores. 🦍🌈👻 - La Gorilla Rainbow y Gorilla Ghost todos los días pierden hojas 🍃 por falta de nutrientes, las últimas 2 semanas solo regare con agua para tratar de conseguir el máximo sabor y olor de la planta natural.
