bioaccessory Hey, fellow growers! The holidays are over, and despite the quarantine, summer went pretty well, but my stash is at zero, so I needed to quickly grow something - autoflowers. I had this simple idea and found some seeds, one of which I bought in Amsterdam at the beginning of March (we were lucky, literally a week after returning home, the borders were closed for quarantine). This time, I don't want to interfere too much in the growth process, maybe that's why I decided to try some new basic nutrients for me - three-part pH Perfect AN. So, I mixed up a brew of MGB 1/1/1 + B-52 - 1 + Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra - 0.5 + Voodoo Juice - 1, resulting in pH 5.8 PPM 410 (oh yes, I use RO water, PPM ≤ 40). I added the leftover coconut from the last grow, Biobizz (it doesn't really need rinsing, but there is some sand in it, even if it's a little), and let it steep for a day. After that, I squeezed it out without being too fanatical, added rinsed perlite ≈ 20% of the total volume, and filled the bag pot with the substrate. The light is DIY LED, more details in the upcoming updates. Ventilation: passive intake, exhaust with a 150mm fan through a carbon filter. For airflow during veg, I’m using a USB fan. And what about the seed? In the evening of 09/04, I tossed it in a glass of water, in the morning of 09/05, I put it in a cotton disc, on 09/07, it went into a pot under a dome, and on 09/08, it sprouted, already without a helmet. Let’s get started! 👉 I finally finished the low light around the perimeter; we’ll be testing closer to the beginning of flowering, stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued...🤐 p.s. How did you spend your summer? 😁

bioaccessory The start of the second week - everything's going smoothly👌 From day 10, I started giving nutrients (half the recommended dose), and by the end of the week, I plan to water to drainage for the first time. upd21.09 As I planned, I watered the pot to drainage for the first time this cycle. And what did we get out? pH 5.8 ppm 500 Perfect! Next week, I'll start manipulating with the plant. 👉 I finally finished the side lighting around the perimeter, we'll test it closer to the start of flowering, stay tuned. bioaccessory Third week, and everything is going well. I increased the dose of base nutrients, now I'm feeding according to the AN chart. Day 19 from the cap, did a top on the 4th floor, hoping everything goes smoothly without extra stress. Now until flowering, just bending and removing excess fan leaves, after all, it's an autoflower, let's not get too carried away with the scissors 😎 A faint smell has appeared. Drainage readings - pH 6.1 ppm 750, a bit high, but in about a week I'll do a scheduled flush. upd. 09/28 Fortunately, everything went without stress, we're growing further. 👉 I finally finished the low perimeter lighting, we'll be testing closer to the start of flowering, stay tuned. bioaccessory Starting the plant training 💪 Haven't checked the box for a couple of days, and a branch in the upper internode broke from the stretch. I'm not panicking (we're growing chill, right? 😜), I snapped the opposite branch for symmetry until it cracked, and temporarily removed the ties. Well, I planned not to stress my autoflower, but it's not working out so far 😈 At the end of the week, I'm planning to do a scheduled flush. 👉 I finally finished the low light around the perimeter, we'll be testing closer to the start of flowering, stay tuned. bioaccessory After flushing with FloraKleen, the ppm of the drainage is still a bit high (⩽ 1000), so I'll do a couple of flushes without base nutrients, just sticking to organic stimulants and beneficial microbes. I reintroduced the mycorrhiza. I like the appearance of the plant, but due to uneven bending in the upper inflorescence, one of the branches has started to grow significantly faster than the other. There was a strong temptation to cut it 😈, but I just bent it down. I'm curious what shape the bush will take as a result. The roots have reached the walls and bottom of the pot. Next week, I'll be adding supplemental lighting around the perimeter of the box. Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued ... 😶

bioaccessory I wanted it to be quicker, but it turned out the same as always 😄 By day 38, the plant only showed its sex and entered the pre-flowering stage, so I'm expecting the flowering to start next week. Everything else is great, it's eating well, I'm gradually increasing the dose of base nutrients, and it looks like I'll reach the recommended values from AN. upd. End of the week, removed all the ties - ready for the start of flowering. 😎 Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued ...🤐

bioaccessory No matter how much I tried to grow it chill, the plant is making me a bit nervous - day 46 from the seed, and it hasn't flowered yet 😵. Plus, there are signs of nitrogen overdose. I'll do a couple of flushes without base nutrients, and then I'll reduce the dose to half of the AN chart value. 👉 But there’s good news too - I finally set up supplemental lighting around the perimeter. It's still too early to judge the effectiveness of this upgrade, but it looks cool 😎. Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued ...🤐

Hello colleagues! I see signs of nitrogen overdose (last entrance of the MGB 3/3/3, drain pH6,2 ppm750) What would you advise to change in feeding? First of all, I am interested in the opinion of those who have experience in using fertilizers pH Perfect AN. Thanks!

For sure this dose is soooo much! 1/2 of it will be good , i don’t go over 1/2 dose of AN with Ro water. I think they suggest 6ml/L on GMB for 2+2+2, like they suggest 4ml on A+B (2+2). So evevry Adv product is 2ml/l and i give max 1ml/l of each , in soil after 3 watering 😊✌️🏽

bioaccessory It hasn't even been 8 weeks, and the little plant finally started to flower 🌿, and it really shot up in growth. I reduced the base nutrient dose to half of the chart, and everything seems to be back to normal. By the way, my interaction with AN support left a mixed impression; I even felt like a bot was answering the questions 😄. I can already see that I should have secured the light a bit higher, but I'm too lazy to climb into this jungle for now; maybe later I'll adjust the height when the plant's growth completely stops. Everything else is good; I'm waiting for the dandelions to appear. Only forward and only up! 👆 upd 02.11 Introducing the neighbors: in the far left corner, my namesake LSD from MasterSeeds; I did a FIM cut on her early on, which she hardly noticed, and she's already 90cm and pushing further, so I guess I’ll have to break the top. In the near left corner, Super Skunk from Seedstockers, which was really slow at the beginning but seems to have caught up with the others now. 👉 I'm planning to add another light 🌞 - deep red diodes specifically for flowering, on a separate bar, stay tuned 👈 Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued ...🤐

bioaccessory If I weren't sitting here empty, I would actually be happy with such a leisurely development of events - the little plant is reluctantly starting to flower, but it's already grown quite a bit (≈86cm), and that's without a central cola! 😋 Everything's good, let's keep flying. Due to the heating main repairs, we still haven't turned on the central heating 🌡️, so I have to deal with excessive humidity 💧, the air conditioner is saving me. 👉 I'm planning to add another light 😎 - deep red diodes specifically for flowering, on a separate bar, stay tuned 👈 Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued ... 😶

bioaccessory We turned on the central heating, and the temperature and humidity levels stabilized. To prevent salt buildup, I rinsed with FloraKleen. I turned off the blue diodes. 11/13 I did defoliation, and finally raised the light to the desired level (maybe I should have secured it a bit higher, but I'll leave it like this for now). The first "snow" appeared on the leaves, everything is developing well, I'm happy. 👉 I'm planning to add another light 😎 - deep red diodes specifically for flowering, on a separate bar, stay tuned 👈 Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued... 🤐

bioaccessory On week 11, the little plant has either stopped growing or slowed down significantly. This is good because I have nowhere left to raise the lamp, I even had to bend the neighbor. bioaccessory Slowly but surely, we're heading into the home stretch - the buds are starting to form. I've changed the base nutrients to increase the phosphorus dosage. And I have some exciting news - just in time for flowering, I got a lamp with red supplemental lighting (10 BrigeLux DeepRed diodes on a separate bar), huge thanks to my bro TrollShaman, check out his report, there's a lot of interesting stuff there. 👆 Now I have three lamps, I'll share more details about all the lighting next week. bioaccessory This cycle has been quite an adventure for me - at the beginning of the week, the power supply for the main lighting broke down. It's fixable, and replacing it wasn't difficult, but my cousin came to the rescue just in time, lending me his QB 240W lamp with Samsung diodes, so I'll finish the rest of the cycle with it. The structure of the bush turned out to be quite strange - long like sticks of cola, and there are a lot of small buds scattered on them like popcorn. I hope the plant will gain some mass in the last two weeks; I can't say I'm particularly thrilled, as my neighbor's different strain looks much more promising. bioaccessory The year 2020 is coming to an end, and along with it, my latest cycle is wrapping up. It's already safe to say that I'm in for a rich harvest. And although the buds aren't very big, there are a lot of them, and they're very sticky and firm to the touch, so overall I'm satisfied. This week I'll do a little flush (6 days), then a couple of days of drought and darkness, and we'll be harvesting, come check it out 🥗😇 Thanks for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued ...😶

bioaccessory The long wait was worth it - the bush turned out huge (one of the biggest autoflowers I've grown, bravo to Barneys Farm genetics! 💚💛❤️) As soon as I took the bush out of the box, losing its support and under the weight of the harvest, the main colas immediately broke. By the end of the cycle, the tops of the plants had a barely noticeable burgundy hue, possibly due to the proximity of the lamp. 48 hours of darkness and drought, and I started the harvest. The buds turned out hard and sticky (I wonder what the final weight will be?). I will dry them as usual, in the dark with ventilation and airflow on, for about 10 days. And then the most interesting part will come - weighing and sampling, come check it out! 😇 Dear colleagues, dear friends! I congratulate you all on the upcoming 2021 year, wishing you happy growing, and may you and your plants never be sick! Thank you for stopping by, and stay healthy! 🙏 To be continued... 🤐

Happy Harvest Day!

At first, I was a bit disappointed with the modest result I achieved (slightly below average weight from the bush). But the disappointment lasted exactly until I tried the finished product - in the "LSDauto" buds, there is the perfect concentration of pure pleasure, this strain is definitely worthy of your attention. And don't let the auto prefix confuse you, the presence of ruderalis in the strain does not spoil the effect of consumption at all, the high is bright and quite long-lasting (be careful with the dosage!). Of course, the aroma will fully unfold only after curing in the refrigerator (at least a month), but the first impressions are as follows: a pleasant earthy taste, it does not induce coughing at all. After a short time, the colors become saturated, the lights brighter, wow, this strain definitely lives up to its name! I also want to note the late transition to flowering, possibly a consequence of topping in the 3rd week of the cycle, in my opinion, this technique is not quite suitable for this strain. I highly recommend it!

bioaccessory This cycle gave me experience growing autoflowering in a limited space, using side and top lighting (there's still an unlimited field for experiments for me here 😎) If I summarize, I can say that this growing technique partially justified itself, and of course, in the future, I will try to take into account all the mistakes made. I hope my report turned out to be interesting. I want to thank Barney's Farm for the interesting strain, the GD team for organizing all of this 👌, and a special thanks to everyone who visited and commented on my diary - together we improve our skills! 💚💛❤️ p.s. I don't plan to return to autoflowers anytime soon. p.p.s. I have interesting ideas for the next cycle, stay tuned and take care! 🙏

@TheSyndicate, Hey! I've been using Great White mycorrhiza for the 3rd cycle now, and I can confidently say that it gives a significant boost to the root system. I add it to the coco twice during the cycle - in the first week and just before flowering starts. If I understood the composition correctly, AN has a liquid equivalent - Piranha, and I'm planning to try it next time. Thanks for stopping by and good luck, you have amazing plants 👍👊

RpltheSyndicate, ah yes, forgot to write about dosage - a rash somewhere 1g per 1l of clean water. At the same time I try not to apply basic fertilizers at the same time, mycelium is particularly bad in contact with phosphorus. In addition, when at the beginning of the cycle I spread coconut to cotyledols, just spread mycorrhiza over the surface with a thin layer of 😉

Afterglow

How could it not have bloomed? It's just starting to do so. The pistils have popped out in the internodes in the photos.
Afterglow
Afterglow commented6y ago
@bioaccessory, I don't see a nitrogen overdose, usually the lower leaves start to darken first, and when the upper ones are dark, I don't worry at all. Here it actually looks more like a phosphorus overdose, since the petioles are unnaturally light compared to the leaves themselves.

Does your cousin grow too?
bioaccessory
bioaccessory commented6y ago
@Afterglow, yeah. But he had a successful auto this season, so he took a break in the indoor setup to arrange the box, and it's a shame for a good lamp to sit idle 😉 You also have a QB, right?
Afterglow
Afterglow commented6y ago
@bioaccessory, yeah QB, two lamps, but I burn them at 100 watts each. It's cool when your loved ones "understand," but I don't even have anyone to brag to about the awards and recognition I'm getting (((

@Afterglow, judging by the information from your reports and comments, you have a wife, at least😇 that's really cool! 😃
Bloombuster
Bloombuster commentedweek 116y ago
torque, bro! 🙂 👍 grow can not be poured, micro has everything you need for the first half of flowering! it is seen that she eats greedily and has many internodes, but do not get over with micro and grow, already more bloom she wants, 1:3 (1:4) grow:bloom, respectively for the middle and end of bud buildup. She definitely stopped in vertical stature. Good luck bro! 😉 👍

bioaccessory commented6y ago
@Bloombuster, got it, thanks! 👍 I already expressed my doubts about the fertilizer ratio in the thread below, but I was confused by the table recommendations. Will the pH-perfect effect work if I mix it in unequal proportions? By the way, the AN support didn't give me any solid answers to this question. I'll give it a try.
Bloombuster
Bloombuster commented6y ago
@bioaccessory, it will definitely work! you have almost everything from one manufacturer, everything is balanced and the pH will be fine. By sticking to the planned EC and mixing in different proportions, you'll get a suitable pH in most cases. When growing in soil, a more alkaline solution is needed, but we have a more acidic one, provided that we feed with minerals (nitrate fertilizer) and not with organics (ammonium fertilizer). pH is very important, and you need a pH of 5.8-5.9 during flowering if it's coconut + perlite (without soil) or pH 6.5-7.0 during flowering in a soil mix.

Hai, bro! In general, according to observation: LSD from Barney has such a phenotype - a powerful central trunk with a large inflorescence and a bunch of small twigs strewn with “pop root”. I even have the lowest cones with the thumb nail very abundantly sprinkled with snow. I didn't see any more of this in any reporter. The hand straight and stretches to cut off from below the shishulya and try. Hiding for now 😎
bioaccessory
bioaccessory commented6y ago
@TrollShaman, I don't have a central cola, but one of the twigs dominates, already above meter 👆

@TrollShaman, and I'm highlighting this "popcorn" with supplemental lighting
TrollShaman
TrollShaman commentedweek 76y ago
In the photo, you can clearly see all the signs of flowering. I hope it speeds up soon and we get some buds, just like my girl :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Although a long veg is good, I think :) Supplemental lighting is great. I especially liked the use of quick-release clamps - you can easily adjust the height of the light fixture. Are you powering it from the same power supply, or separately? I also have a bunch of ideas for upgrading and modifying my grow box, but - SCROG, and that's one of its downsides... No worries, my next grow will be "TECHNO" :) With maximum process automation.

bioaccessory commented6y ago
@TrollShaman, yeah, as in that song - “results are there, only money is not” (with) 😆 So I have signs, but there are no blooms (from the new inflorescences still the botva, stigma only in internodes). But I don't give up hope. TINNOCENP Dawn fed up with separate BP 👍
bioaccessory
bioaccessory commented6y ago
@TrollShaman, yes, I got the clamps, they with plastic stuff on screws, can adjust height without screwdriver 💪 😍
TrollShaman
TrollShaman commentedweek 46y ago
As I understand it, it's about to flower any moment now?
bioaccessory
bioaccessory commented6y ago
@TrollShaman, it hasn't even shown its floor yet. According to reports on this strain, it starts flowering around the end of the fifth week, but we'll see how it goes, of course.
TrollShaman
TrollShaman commented6y ago
@bioaccessory, It's good that the veg isn't small... It flowered at week three for my bro @Aftergrow, it didn't even have time to grow properly, although it's tiny and looks good.

TrollShaman commentedweek 16y ago

@TrollShaman, Thanks bro, I’ll try 😇 It will be interesting to compare with your LSD fem during the process.
TrollShaman
TrollShaman commented6y ago
@bioaccessory, I think yours will outpace mine in ripening. It would be nice to compare the yield :) I'm curious to see how the ruderalis will perform in yours.
Afterglow
Afterglow commentedweek 106y ago
Bro, how's the little plant doing? Did the compote ratio work out? P.S. I have the same watering can, just pink ))))
bioaccessory
bioaccessory commented6y ago
@Afterglow, you know bro, as soon as I went back to half the table dose - everything became smooth. It's still early to draw conclusions about these nutrients, but I can already note a couple of things: on one hand, it's very convenient that I don't need to adjust the pH of the finished mix - that's a big plus. On the other hand, even using half the table value, the consumption turns out to be twice as much as the nutrients from my previous cycle. And it's also very strange that throughout the cycle the ratio of the three components doesn't change, only the quantity. 😕 In short, I haven't decided yet. Maybe, following your example, I'll try the GHE base in the next round. 😏
