This week marks Week 18 of veg for the Pineapple Upside Down, and things are getting interesting. The plant is still pushing hard, stacking growth on all sides — more height, more volume, more density. She’s clearly in that phase where she’s comfortable, full of energy, and ready to take every bit of space you give her. But that’s exactly where the challenge begins. Right now, I still can’t move her into the bloom tent. There’s another plant finishing inside, so the space isn’t free yet. And that delay changes the whole strategy, because this girl is getting tall — fast. So the main question of the week is the same one I’ve been wrestling with for a while: Should I let her stretch and plan a SCROG, or should I top her to keep things low and contained? And to be honest, I’m still not ready to decide. I want to see her in her final environment before making that call. Transplanting into the bloom tent will change the lighting, the airflow, the VPD, the root-zone rhythm — and I don’t want to shape her structure blindly before she settles in. On top of that, she’ll need a short acclimation period once she’s transferred, so there’s no point in rushing structural training now. It could do more harm than good. So for the moment, the rule is simple: don’t touch anything. I’m keeping her on the same settings, same nutrition, same EC, same feeding schedule. She’s clearly thriving, and when a plant is this comfortable, the smartest move is not to interrupt her momentum. You can feel she’s building up internal energy — thicker stems, fuller leaves, faster node spacing. All of that will pay off in bloom, as long as I manage the height correctly once she moves to her final tent. This week is all about timing. Letting her grow, monitoring the stretch, and holding the decision until the very last moment. The more I watch her, the more I realize that patience here is probably the winning move. For now, she’s healthy, beautiful, vigorous, and still accelerating. No signs of stress, no burn, no deficiencies. Just a plant in full confidence. Next week should be decisive — hopefully the bloom tent will finally be free, and I’ll get a clearer picture of the strategy: SCROG or top. Until then, she keeps growing… and I keep observing.

Wieder einmal nicht zufrieden! Die Ladies sind super super langsam in der Entwicklung gegenüber allen photoperiodischen Sorten die ich in den letzten Jahre gegrowt habe. Ich verstehe nicht was hier falsch läuft. Normalerweise würde ich jetzt neu anfangen und diese Ladies töten😁.Aufgrund eines Umzuges geht es aber nicht und die Zeit ist beschränkt. Klima passt, Substrat wie immer, die zwei Parameter die ich zum ersten mal teste ist der Dünger von Advanced Nutrients und Autoflowers….bei einer Ladi sind die ersten Zeichen der Vorblüte zu sehen. Wenn die Ladies nicht noch richtig viel wachsen gibt es eine Katastrophe. Wenn jemand einen Tipp hat meldet euch gerne. Temperatur zwischen 21 und 24 Grad RLF zwischen 50-65 % Düngemenge 60-70 % der Empfehlungen lt Düngeplan. In meinen Augen müssten die Ladies doppelt so groß und breit sein. Die Idee ist jetzt das erste mal zu flushen, ist eigentlich immer gut. Bis nächste Woche…. Peace

Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds) Tag 103 / Blühtag 68 Fast am Ziel 43 cm reif für die Ernte! 🍓🔥 Nach 68 langen Blühetagen steht meine Strawberry AKeil jetzt bei nur 43 cm Höhe kompakt, aber extrem dicht bestückt. Die letzten Tage haben sich die Buds nochmal richtig verdichtet und kaum noch neue Blütenkelche (Calyxe) gebildet. Sie ist klar in der Reifephase angekommen! Heute habe ich nochmal einen genauen Trichome-Check gemacht: 30 % B / 60 % M / 10 % K Genau der sweet spot, auf den ich gewartet habe. Die Köpfchen glänzen fett und harzig, besonders in der Nahansicht sieht man die fantastische Trichomendecke. Dazu diese wunderschöne lila-rote Färbung an den Blütenblättern einfach eine Augenweide! Wie bei den anderen Pflanzen im Zelt lief auch hier der letzte Abschnitt sehr clean: - Über 1,5 Wochen nur klares Wasser - Zu Beginn der 10. Blütewoche nochmal einen leichten Boost mit Top-Max, Acti Vera, Alg-A-Mic und CalMag Der Stickstoff ist inzwischen sehr gut abgebaut, wie man auf den Fotos deutlich an den vielen hellgelben bis goldenen Blättern sieht. Ich habe heute nochmal gezielt die welkesten und unteren Blätter entfernt, um Schimmelrisiko zu minimieren und den Buds noch Licht und Luft zu gönnen. In den nächsten 3 Tagen(länger wirds nicht laufen) darf sie nochmal richtig Sonne tanken, dann verlässt sie als Erste das Zelt. Ich bin extrem gespannt auf den Trockengeruch und das finale Aroma bisher war sie schon im Zelt eine der stärksten Terpene Bomben mit diesem fruchtig-erdbeerigen Profil. Zusammenfassung: Eine sehr kompakte, harzige und aromatische Strawberry AKeil, die trotz etwas kleinerer Statur richtig dicke Buds produziert hat. En esta nueva semana he trasplantado a macetas de 10 litros a 2 plantitas que estaban en macetas de 3L . La que he planteado a tierra ha tenido un crecimiento significativo de una semana a otra.

It's been 23 days of flower now and The gals are still loving the fc4800 and their new 8x8 mars hydro grow tent as much as I do👍 leaves are sticking straight up towards the light. Love how easy the zippers are to open and close. Nice and strong and guaranteed to last. It has extra material on the backside of the zipper that helps for light leaksand enough ports and vents for anything you need in it👍. the tsw2000 is still going strong and is also a very good light. Its been going almost nonstop for 6 months and still working the same as when I got it👍. not much heat off both lights but the fc4800 is alot cooler and the heat-sinks work extremely well. I have it daisy chained to the tsw2000 and 1 dimmer controls the other and i don't need to be reaching in too far to dim the other light, it's awesome and I can't wait to buy more lights to daisy 4 together👍. I would recommend this light to everyone that grows with leds and have trouble with temperatures getting too high. Even if you grow with HPS lights I think any mars hydro light is a MUST TRY. I like how heavy both lights are because I know it means they are built soild and strong 💪. Very good sign with the frost they are starting to get thanks to bith mars hydro lights. I can notice more frost under the fc4800 and I'm thinking it's from the UV DIODES they put on the fc4800 👍. 2 days ago they all smelt like my nuken, sweet marshmallows. But now I can smell the monkey dough and gorilla glue and skunk monkey coming through👍. I touched a bud on the gorilla and monkey fingers smelt like fruit loops👍 really pleasant smell. Lingered on my fingers for atleast 30 min. I'm glad mars hydro is under priced compared to some brands and for how popular they are usually companies would charge more. Thanks mars you guys are awesome 🤘🥁🎸. I'm getting a new exhaust fan soon. An 8 inch that will work alot better than my 4 inch lol. Wayyy to small for a 8x8 Grow Tent. Dehumidifier is going almost non stop to try and get the humidity down. I love how both lights on 100% power only raise my temperature 2 or 3 degrees 👍. You can rest your hand on the lights and not much heat comes off them. Obviously there is some heat but for the brightness of the lights and only raising the temp that much is awesome 👌.  And if I wanted to I could remove the driver from the fc4800 and run it on the outside of my tent because the cord is so long but 2 or 3 degrees is barely nothing👍. The girls are starting to bulk up abit now and only 3 weeks of flowering, these lights are awesome 👌.  My last run of monkey dough and gorilla glue didn't start showing alot of crystals until week 4. These were only 2.5 weeks and I started noticing some frost. Next week I will be able to tell more about what these custom bred seeds will be like. I love how the smell is changing now. Didn't want all them to smell like nuken marshmallows lol. It's awesome that I can get right inside the tent to do any work i need👍. Even if I wanted an 4x8 tent. I'd rather this 8x8 because it's so easy to work with the plants and have so much room to move around and massive headroom when I'm in there chillin with the gals🤣🤘. Managed to sex out the males this week, especially since the girls were putting out some pre-flower pistils. Moved others around a little using my potato fork and now everyone is in a much better spacing. Bummer that 2 out of 3 were males, but that's ok! The ladies that are left will have more room to stretch. I gave them a little Big Bloom and some molasses.

Another smooth week with the ladies. Nothing really to report.

She's turning out some nice flower, longer than my forearm. Started to get stick and flowers just starting to smell

First started with only four plants, which are Future #1, Lilac Diesel, and Vice city.

Topped both plants this week and started to train them with some stakes. Not sure if I will do a second topping or if this will be the only one, give this is an auto. In the absence of a scrog net, I'm using some stakes to try and spread the plant as evenly as possible. Still watering very little and around the sides, with the idea of making those roots stretch. I'm still using Root Juice and plant to keep using it for a few more weeks. From next watering I will start to introduce BioGrow, BioBloom and TopMax and cut out Acti Vera and Bio Heaven for now.

Hey Cannafam, Well in life sometimes you have to perservere to get something you really want, this was my 3rd attempt at growing this gal, with the previous 2 runs being wrecked by the UK weather. This has been a stressful grow as i thought this one was going to end in tears also, but I Made It and im super happy 😁💜💜💜 She came down a few days ago after more bad weather, a thunderstorm yesterday and its currrently raining as i write this, although i wanted her to run a little longer, it wasnt worth the risk and she should still give a nice heavy stone and is mature enough. She was quite a task to harvest and ive gone for a wet trim, a high leaf to calyx ratio on the buds and it took just under two hours! Wet weight is 111 grams although i expect this to reduce to around a third in the drying process and i've been left with a nice large bag of trim which will be sampled in the bong shortly 😊 Those beautiful dark purples are now on the drying rack indoors under the carbon filter on maximum to contain the smell of roudy gorgeous berries and its been a few days before i could open the tent,without it taking over the house! Ive got a dehmidifier running which has been set to keep RH at 58% and shes got about another week until dry. Once complete she'll be jarred with the 62% boveda humidy packs and burped daily on a four week cure. Il update once dry and cured a bit with more pics and a smoke report. I've also got quite a decent size jar of trim which will be slowly bonged and mixed with various hash 😁 . This strain is one of my favorites and im so glad i tried again with her outside. I feel like this strain is a bit of hidden gem in the FastBuds catalogue but i would recommend growing her too anyone as she is definitely a purple jewel 😊 Thank you to all that liked or commented, I hope you've enjoyed this diary and love to all 💜💜💜

We still runnin’ that Advanced Nutrients like clockwork, straight through that RO water, keepin’ it pure as a Miami night breeze. The nodes are gettin’ tight, leaves spreadin’ out nice and wide, takin’ all that light. I hit ‘em with a little scrog, just a lil’ bend here and there, makin’ sure that light hit every corner of the canopy. You already know I’m tryin’ to maximize that potential. Stems got that thick structure, and no signs of nute burn or nothin’. We’re talkin’ flawless execution, fam. At this point, it’s just watchin’ ‘em fill out, keepin’ the environment dialed in and lettin’ ‘em do their thing. We’re settin’ the stage for a strong finish when we flip ‘em to flower.
