playing around with the on/off cycle timing to find the optimum settings

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

11/9: The first Blackberry (Halle Berry) is dry now and beginning to cure....will probably sample it tomorrow.😋 The next 5 that I harvested are drying in a dark room at 75f with 60% RH and minimal airflow.👍 The colas of the remaining 11 plants are now within 9 inches of the QB's....MAXIMUM PAR! I've increased UVB exposure by an additional hour a day. I've got the portable AC on high and blowing across their tops, which is keeping the temp just below 80f on them...they should be just fine..👌 11/13: I harvested the purple Wedding Cheesecake and all three Lemon Pies today. 11/15: I flushed the last two orange sherbets for the second time, but with only a few gallons each...I flushed the last two wedding cheesecakes, and the 3 x gorilla cookies with 8 gallons each.

Day 99.. Wow that's alot of days lol.. Colas can't even stand up.. Buds are sooo dense.. She smells fruity when you squeeze a nug.. Hopefully more amber trichomes in 7 days.. Does anybody know if the trichomes change on a week to week basis.. Or can they change on a day to day basis? Or does it take 30 days to notice any change? Lol *** I ordered the 2 bags of organic dry amendments of Earth Dust.. I requested a refund before it was even shipped. They refunded my money and 2 days later still SHIPPED the 2 bags of Earth Dust Organic Dry Amendments.. They claim 1 mix of the soil for the seedling.. 1 top dress for bloom transition and 1 more top dress of bloom till harvest*** I'm guessing they mean autoflower? What if you double the length of veg for a photoperiod? Can you top dress the veg once more? ***Thegreensunshinecompany dot com*** Wanted to try it out but changed my mind.. But I got my money back and the product.. Guess Ill try it out if they want me to so bad lol.. Day 100.. Took some pics of trichomes and found these things that look like seeds.. My last 2 autos had these too. There is no way.. I dont see any nanners.. Or male flowers at all.. I disected one.. I dont think its a seed.. Yet at least.. The calyxes have purpled alot.. I removed alot of little leaves that were crispy and ready to fall off.. Not many leaves to work with thanks to her very high calyx to leaf ratio! Almost almost ALMOST FREAKING THERE!!!..... Day 105.. Got alot of trichome pics.. So beautiful.. She will be harvested on day 107.. Might do the 48 hours of darkness.. But ai dont want her to dry out too much.. I want to make sure she gets alot of days drying before curing.. Everything seems to be lined up perfect woth this girly.. I wonder if I could even let her go another week.. But my patience wont let that happen lol.. I almost harvested beginning of this week lol.. She is going to be perfect!!! Day 106.. Just another week of vegging and feeding, waiting to make sure the last remaining plant I have is female. I think the male parts would have shown already if it was male, but you never really know until flip time. I’m planning on up-planting the remaining plant I have to a 7 gallon fabric pot and flipping it to 12-12 because I don’t have tent space for a massive beast of a photoperiod. Excited to see if this one is female (which I really think it is fingers crossed!).

August 18, Day 28. Had to flush on Friday due to nutrient lockout. There were purple stems which caught my attention to a possible nutrient deficiency. Coupled by the dark green older fan leaves and bright green of new growth, my Apera TDS meter confirmed nutrient lockout. Kaboom was flushed a total of 4 times Friday night, then foliar fed at 25% strength the next morning. She was given 1.1 liters of pHd water since the top inch was already dry despite flushing the night before. I am taking her thirst to mean she is recovering well. I plan on resuming the GH least aggressive feed schedule tomorrow and will begin feeding with every watering. Now that she's on the mend from the nutrient lockout I can tell she's thirstier than what she used to be, I'm taking that to mean she's hanging in there. Friends, growmies, cousins, comrades, colleagues and cultivars. Updates last week were minimal because this plant mama came down with COVID. Flushing a plant during COVID fever is no joke. Stay well and healthy everyone. August 19, Day 29. Fed at least aggressive strength today until 25% runoff. Included a new supplement to the nutrient line up, silica. Today is the first time I use it so I went easy and used the weakest dose. Plant has 5 main sites so far, yahoozie. To top a second time? No se todavia, deja lo pienso jajaja August 21, Day 31.Topped one more time, clipped the tallest point to give the others time to catch up. I know I will need to defoliate a tiny bit, soon, but I'm a bit scared to remove either too much or a mega vital leaf. I'll watch videos about it and aim for next week. I sprayed the top inch with pH'd water and will feed and water tomorrow morning. August 22, Day 32. Fed and watered, no recharge since I used it on Day 29. As I repositioned the kabob sticks, I noticed a couple of milestones - she is in the very beginning stages of forming pistils and she is beginning to smell. I plan on keeping her in veg for at least 2 more weeks, hopefully this isn't super ambitious for a plant named Kaboom lol 😂 August 24, Day 34. I checked on Kaboom and found that the top inch was totally dry so I fed and watered her. I used everything except recharge, but will use it at next feeding since I'm aiming for 10 days in between applications. I think Kaboom is looking fabulous

03/05/2021 Beginning of week 4 looking good, I think she will start flowering in week 5-6, so I might top her, she is growing fast so I hope it will not harm flowering time. Ps. I did top And 24 hours later I can see all is well, where I topped her is healing, and side branches responding! I know she will be ready for flowering. Check out video and see.

A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. We are gonna see what happens coming weeks with this strain. So far I am a bit disappointed and didn't expect this from this strain. We will never know if it was the age of the seeds or something else. What I do know is, it was the last time I use a third party seedbank, it is apparently too hard to keep fresh stock with too many strains. Until breeders put a production date o the packaging. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Me: i grow organic weed for 30 years, these seeds were old Seed dealer: Yes but you failed to do a raindance on the rising moon, no refund. Me: but its for cannabis? Weed industry: Yes why we charged you double! Me: wow no germination after paying 20 bucks for seeds? Industry: They are all stoners, they won't notice.... Week 10 Ohhhh yehhhh! 👽👍 These runtz are firing with bud sites now! They are all in the flower tent this week with the Spiderfarmer sf4000 and dehumidifier locked in at 50% Few more weeks and these will be stacked. Got a lemony smell on a couple of them and can see some frost coming through too ❄️❄️❄️ Really need to invest in some new pots because the waste nutrient water coming through is too much dry pockets all over I think, used about 20litres on 5plants

This week I raised the light a few inches. I also removed the CO2 dispenser as it seemed like I was meddling to much. The humidity levels remained in the 50's so I removed the watering can. Overall, things remained much the same. My main takeaway this week was "stop doing things". Leave the plants alone. I'm learning that the plants respond negatively to changes in their environment. Let them be and they'll figure out how to survive.

Starting to swell up really nicely. Delicious rounded sweet smell mixed with a sour diesel and a earthy smell. Pretty frosty and sticky. It still needs atleast 10 to 14 days to finish up in my estimation, maybe 20 days. Light defoliation happened on july 1st. Its very leafy
