hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

Been on the Spananbis so I wasnt able to check on them but they did really good the last few days. Put a net on them to spread them out a bit cause im scared of not enough airflow between the plants

Pour préparer votre solution, dans votre réservoir ou arrosoir : Mettre en premier la base (Iguana) Ensuite Ancient Earth Et enfin les bactéries ASSUREZ-VOUS D'UTILISER UNE EAU DE BONNE QUALITE (EC < 0,2) POUR DE MEILLEURS RESULTATS. J'utilise un substrat non enrichi pour permettre le meilleur départ à mes plantes. Il s'agit du Promix de Plagron, il a une EC proche de 0, c'est pour cette raison que je commence les engrais assez fort dès le début. Les plantes sont très gourmande sous LED haute intensité et l'enracinement est rapide. J'arrose tous les 3 jours environ avec 2 arrosages à l'engrais et 1 à l'eau par semaine. Je n'attend pas que le substrat sèche complétement sinon ça réduit l'efficacité de l'arrosage, ça détruit la faune et éventuellement facilite la cristallisation des minéraux. Au niveau du volume d'arrosage, il faut prendre en compte 1/3 de la taille du pot. Pour un pot de 1L je vais donc arroser environ 300ml. Pour un Pot de 10L je vais arroser environ 3L. Il est important d'arroser doucement pour éviter que l'eau ne coule tout de suite au fond. Il est important d'avoir au moins 15% de drain pour s'assurer d'évacuer tous les nutriments non consommé et faire la place aux nouveaux. IL EST PRIMORDIALE D'EVACUER L'EAU AU FOND DES COUPELLES, c'est une eau qui est chargée en nutriments non consommé et on ne veut pas qu'elle remonte dans les pots car cela risquerait de créer des blocages. Au niveau de la technique de taille de formation, je réalise tout de suite une FIM que je reproduirai dès que l'apex aura repoussé. La première FIM est la plus longue mais les suivantes sont très rapide car la plante s'habitue à la technique et cela la stress beaucoup moins. En général il faut reproduire la FIM tous les 3 à 4 jours en fonction de la vigueur. C'est une technique très facile à mettre en œuvre et ne demande aucun matériel. C'est aussi la plus rapide pour obtenir des buissons. N'hésitez pas à me contacter si vous avez des questions concernant la FIM! Je retire également les feuilles supérieur (pas toute pour éviter de ralentir la plante) qui cache les secondaires pour augmenter l'efficacité de la FIM sur la croissance des secondaires.

2 of them really starting to cannibalise all their fan leaves.. on day 56 and wanted to make day 70. Not sure if I should cut down a few now or let them all keep going til the end. Got the gnats under control. Days are going by very slowly 😆 3 different genres of music to go with each strain haha. Smells are out of this world when I unzip the tent! 24k and sour kosher all smelling gassy with lots of earthy undertones and the gelato just smells straight gasoline.

So I'm super stoked about this week because it's been a great one! 😃 Got my new lights installed in the tent, they're working great and the ladies are loving it. Amazing growth in all the strains SPECIALLY this one, truly magical stain this one. I was able to train her perfectly, she's got an even canopy and I'm loving that. She's the wides girl in the tent also has the most colas( future bud sites). She's gotten really bushy so next week I'll do a bit of defoliation to even her out a bit more. 20/03: most of the plants are very near the end - there has been an issue with two kush - severe nute burn - I have hung them up to dry before the burn killed off any of the buds - will cut later this week and add the weight to the overall harvest. 1 more week nutes - 1 week flush and 1 week to dry. The white widow colas are blooming so that the stalks are unable to hold them up - added cable ties to keep everything in place

started this week of with a nutrients change and topping the the two dwc buckets again. ill keep lst to keep all my nodes down and canopy even before i flip to flower in next week or two..... Been going well this week shes drinking alot of water!! All the tops have come back nicely going to make net for flower tommorow

took out 8 litres out of the system and added 8litres rainwater. also added extra airpump (each plant has now 2 airstones) plants seem to grow at normal speed now. another week before they go in flower.

These clones were mixed up & are either Orange sherbet or Tropicana cookies or they could be both! Unfortunately from experience growing them before they are very hard to tell apart untill late flowering. Originally grown in DWC ,all 3 got root rot at one stage Due to extremely high temps around 35°c. Had them in a 4x8 tent, running a 6 Inch adjustable speed exhaust fan which couldn't get temps lower than 33°c in our summer heat of 40°c days & nights! Moved back into 4x4, fan works good in this size tent reduces temps 28° to 31° max. Had to cut out rotten roots on back 2 plants & put them back into veg for 2 weeks until they came good, I also took them out of DWC & put them into recirculating hydro & put back into flower. Since then they have really taken off & are very healthy & lush. The 3rd plant at the front is 4 weeks into flower this one also got root rot at a different time, but I left this one in flower. I trimmed the root rot out & have had some issues with her, I also changed her from DWC to recirculating hydro as it's more forgiving in the heat & it's how I've always grown until recently doing DWC without problems in the past. All the bigger shade leaves have turned yellow, not sure if it's still something to do with root rot or a deficiency of some sort. Just trying to get this one over the line at this point 🤞🙏 increased light wattage from 480 to 730watts running 2 viper spectra lights (250watt) inside my Mars Hydro FC-E 4800.

12/20 Week 8 Flower GETTING SNOW! Maddie frosting up has a ways to go but she is serious about it. Banana Jelly has a very nice bushy shape, she responds good to LST and doesn't stretch a lot when turned into flowering. Good resistance as we performed some HST and even during flowering defoliations, no sign of stress or delays in growth. The bid smell is almost like nuts, fresh almonds with a sweet but slightly gassy background, a true gem to explore. We will definitely repeat this one!!!
