Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. While the sativa variety of cannabis is widely known for producing more of a mental, cerebral high, and indica has a reputation for contributing more toward its physical high, other factors are more important to consider: THC is the compound given most of the credit for that head high, with CBD takes the credit for marijuana's many proven medicinal benefits, which range vastly from relieving pain, anxiety, migraines, fibromyalgia and even mad cow disease to easing many of the most deleterious symptoms of AIDS, diabetes, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. These are just a handful of the dozens of ailments marijuana is being prescribed to combat by doctors across the globe and in more than a dozen U.S. states. Cooperatives at medical marijuana dispensaries have been at the forefront of providing CBD-rich cannabis buds and oils for their patients, who undoubtedly appreciate being able to purchase the strain best-suited to ease their particular ailments. This new strain joins others rich in both CBD and THC like Euphoria, Royal Medic, Medical Mass and Danceworld that seek to actually not necessarily downplay cannabis' psychoactive effects in favor of optimizing its healing role, but instead equalize the two. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. Inside, the plants average in height at about 31.5 inche (80 cm); outside, the average height is about 53 inches (135 cm), with harvest time at the end of September. Day 28 week 4 of flower plants looking good I dropped a 3L water bottle on a string which snapped a whole branch from the bottom 😳 on right plant 😭

Early week 6 update (i'll add more pictures and comments as needed): Unfortunately I hit some challenges! Light got way too close and stunted growth for a day. I noticed it on tips closest to the light only. Raised lamp to 22 inches. Indica bagseed (plant in the center front) got too stacked: stuff like leaves on top of each other with lots of moisture, no light/airflow penetration, etc. I did some basic LST, leaf tucking, net tucking, to open her up and go sideways more a bit at first. It helped a bit. Unfortunately aug 27, had to get more aggressive on this beast and remove 3 shade leaves on the right side. not happy about defoliating, but had to do it. Will see how she takes it and then look at left side on a later day. Growing the first time is educational and actually therapeutic in today's world for me. I've already learned so many lessons for the net time: don't need such a yuge pot, lamp brightness/distance, air circulation!!! Thank you to everyone that responds with positive encouragement/messaging, it really helps. Adding two more fans to help air circulation aug 28. hopefully it reduces the need to desecrate the plants! Meanwhile the plants in back (purple canyon) want to stretch their faces off, esp. the one in back left, so it is a balance. I only have so much vertical height :) aug 29, flipped to 12/12. plants are happy and i want to control the space for first grow. let's see how it goes. updated the humidity for the week to ~ 60. Ida etc has made it miserable, it should get better soon.

Filter sock clogged up again, I just took the whole filter off, I'm not worried about the smell as it's outside in my shed anyway. Still warm and dry out this week, humidifier barely lasts 24 hours and that's just to keep the RH above 40. Trichs developing nicely, few more weeks to go for sure.

Greetings This week I switched to 12/12, switched to the base for flowering

Everything all still going well was pretty worried about the LST incase made mess of it was freaking out incase I put plant under to much stress

She has reached day 21. I gave her only 1 good watering in the middle of the week. Weather has been decent with not much rain. Mostly sun and a couple of overcast sky days.😍

A wonderful genetic thank you Fast Buds ❤️‍🔥🤩 The trim was super easy the buds are FAT & FROSTY full of resin 🤤 I’m very happy with the harvest 142g !! For the light i’ve used the Mars Hydro SP-6500💡

Pretty happy with her setup now shes reached the edges of pot. I plan to just try keep her tied down while the middle catches up. I'll let her get some vertical growth after that and flip when im happy shes good to go. She is now just on full feed Lucas forula (GHE Micro/Bloom) with some calmag. Took all her nutes well showing no signs of deficiencies and caused no grief whatsoever.

Amazing told this run 110 grams of bud and 80 grams of shake. An amazing pungent fruity citrus cream cheese aroma eminates out of my cure vault. The high has been described by my friends as a creative uplifting high followed by intense couch lock. The grow itself was a breeze. The only real issues i had in the hydro grow was that i needed to to add cal mag because it was growing so fast and i was using distilled water. I basically did not train my plants other than defoliating to make space for air flow and light penetration. I would recommend this for any first time hydro grower that has a decent amount of space.

5 WW auto seeds for my first grow. Trying to get informed and learn as much as I can. ~10-12hrs pre-soak in water cup -> seeds in peat pellets in a propagator LED: Mars reflector 96 in a 70*70 space Light feed in soil; "enough utrients for 1 week" day 4: transfer to 11L pots (filled maybe 9L)

So excited into week 8 doing log day early starting flush now and Buds getting quite frosty I plan to harvest at day 65 as I'm going away so hopefully will be nice its smells wicked blueberry skunk is my take on it very resistant I think as I'm a noob and looks so good I put it down to my late Brother looking over me and the girls I hope for more bud Mass but whatever it is I'm good thanks for reading🌿

I think that both of my plants are almost ready for harvest. I don't have a USB microscope so I can't check thoroughly. Luckily I have a few lenses of a microscope and a very good phone camera. I gave them no nutes with the watering because I did the same with the other plant. The following update might just be the harvest 👀, the trichomes are looking good.

Day 94, 5th of November 2020: Nice strain no really strong smell haha good to grow more safely :) This situation is crazy never happneed to me. It is only the 5th week of flowering and she looks ready to be harvested.... WTF.... I immediately stop fertilization.... I checked the trichomes and it is interesting. I see ambers and I see milky ones but also translucent ones.... I have an idea what happened. She had gotten aot of darkness I mean she did not get always the standard 12/12 she qas once 3 days in darkness before owering that's ok.... After I left her one day in darkness once.... And what I think is when I went on holiday my friend looked after her so she was with different strains and needed to remove out of the tent manually so he went to work early and back late so she spent 14 hours darkness but stilll.... I have no idea ;) I am going to make a question here :)

12/26-12/28/20: So I have no idea what to expect. I just hope moving the light farther away was a good idea! I've had to turn the fan on a couple of times to bring the 82F temp down and now it's creeping back down. 12/29/20: Still no growth and I can't maintain the humidity above 45%. I placed a piece of saran wrap over the pot to help it retain some water. I also moved the 1000w lamp a little farther away and I have the fan running. I also need to figure out the exhaust set up. Too daunting. 12/30/20: The cherry finally popped and I can see ole girl starting to break the surface. Adding the saran wrap helped with the moisture and this morning was the result. The temp still seems a be high (81F) and the humidity still isn't maintaining (~51%). I watered the seedling a bit and spray twice a day. It's currently back under the wrap. 1/2/21: Ole girl Salisi is growing slowly, but strong. I added a humidifier from Target to maintain the humidity between 40-60%. Temperature still lingers around 82F, but I think that's ok:🤷:. 1/4/21: Salasi is growing with purpose now! Two more days until she graduated to the big pot. I moved her inside of a nursery with vents open and gave her a full watering. RT: 82F, RH 62%. 1/9: Salasi's looking ok but I'm concerned about stem length. I just sprayed inside the nursery and a couple spritzes to the top soil. I'm concerned about thinning?
