12 days after the switch Tropicanna Banana shows her sex and officially begins flowering. On day 28 I started with the Bio Heaven and Acti Vera stimulators, although the soil is prefertilized for only 2 weeks, the girls are in perfect shape and for now they don't need fertilizers. I inserted wooden supports in the grow to reduce the effect of negative pressure, it took away important space for growing. This week i've stopped using the humidifier.

Week 8 begins for mandarin dreams and divine storm. All four ladies are frosty, sticky and the mandarin smell is incredibly strong. Dear diary, Week 2 done and on the books! Everything went mostly fine up until the very end of the week were I noticed some strangeness with another one of the strains in the tent. More info on that will be in my other diary for Gorilla Cookies and will be covered more overall in next weeks update as I try to fix any potential issues. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 11: Calmag foliar applied 2 times during the day at 0.8ms and corrected ph to 6.3. They also got their regular feeding at 1.27ms 6.4ph with me increasing the light to 250ppfd. ⏰ Day 12: They were given a foliar and watering of calmag water at 1.13ms and 6.3ph early in the morning as issues had not cleared up. Later in the evening they got a regular feeding at 1.41ms, 5.9ph and lights were increased to 275ppfd. ⏰ Day 13: 2 calmag foliars, gave feeding at 1.54ms 5.8ph and increased lights to 285ppfd ⏰ Day 14: They have reached 3 nodes marking the end of seedling stage and beginning of veg! They were fed with 1.53ms 5.8ph and four 3 liter airpots was prepped with 75/25 coco/perlite and watered with the same feed until runoff before transplanting. As I can only grow four plants W.C #1 and #3 were selected as the final two. Temps are around 26 and RH 75% with lights on and 24C 80% off. Will be taking down the RH slightly over the coming few days to 65%. ⏰ Day 15: Gave the girls a feeding at 1.57ms 5.6ph. Also increased light to 305ppfd and they do look a bit droopy, but that’s not to surprising after the transplant. ⏰ Day 16: Daily feeding at 6ph 1.59ms and increased light to 320 ppfd. Aiming for 465 ppfd by the end of next week as that would move us up from 20 to 30 DLI. ⏰ Day 17: Sprayed a foliar coat of Leaf Coat from Biobizz as prevention for pest in the morning. For the evening they got their feeding at 1.58ms 6.2ph and foliar spray of calmag as a plant of the other strain in the tent is looking a bit odd.

Very happy overall with this week. Banana Daddy R1 transitioning to veg very quickly! Banana Daddy looking very healthy!

As expected, the girl grows well, the flowers enlarge, the resin appears and the girl smells wonderful. I'm running it all the time, she still has plenty of time. 😉

She’s a little sensitive to nutrients. Shes had some light nutrients but very light. Mostly Ph’d water. Going to give her the full Canna coco line tomorrow and introduce a pk booster but low streangth

Week 11, D71 Flower Day 41. She's super frosty. And very sticky and sticky. Smells of fresh cut strawberries and a light musky sweet earthy smell. Not a whole lot of bud, but what's there is tops by the looks of it. I'm hoping this is going to be the A grade bud I've been looking for. Plant has been thrown into soft flush. Been given terra powers finisher. 1ml/L 150 ppm and ph + adjusted to 6.7. Should of just let it grow normal. Lessons learnt. Even though she wasn't let grow o'natural I've seen what I can get, 1 main top cola and smaller colas on the side instead of 50-70cm small plants. Hopefully I'll get 50-70cm nodes with a big ass frosty cola on my next run, and then I'll be able to say for sure, that topping isn't the way to go with autos. As I've topped every single 1 I've grown and the tallest plant I could get was 90cm. Either it's the topping or not grown to its peak performance. HARVEST DAY. She's frosty. I've seen more frosty SG but I'm happy with this with how I crippled her growth. But in stunning her height I do think I've made for some A grade Bud up top. There is some airy bud at the very end. 10/31/2022: Happy Halloween!! 🎃 Not much to update today. Just installed my scrog net the other day, but I'm thinking I may need to lower it. I'm going to wait and see how much stretch I get this week. Plants were all watered yesterday and are still wet enough. Light is turned up to 100% at this point, but raised it a bit more. At 18 hours of light my average DLI is about 45, which is as high as I will take these. 11/3/2022: Did a heavy watering for all 3 plants today, since they are all still stretching. About 2 liters per plant, using the Coconut Water Powder and Bio-Phos. Ph was 6.7. Also did a bit more defoliation on the Newberry and Orange Bubblegum. All plants are looking great. I think raising the light helped with the slight droop the Newberry had. They are starting to smell now too. When I open the tent, the whole house smells. Love it, haha! 11/5/2022: light watering today with the coconut water and Fish Shit. The Newberry and Orange Bubblegum continue to stretch and the Strawberry Gushers appears to have finished it's stretch and the flowers are beginning to get larger. All 3 plants look really healthy and have no problems at all. Also, most of the fungas nats seem to be gone. I'm assuming the predator mites in the BuildAFlower ate most of the fungas nat larvae. Only issue is the plants did not stretch as much as I expected, so my scrog net is a little high, but I'm just going to leave it. Avg. VPD:1.1 PPFD: 700 DLI: 45

Fed/watered with 1 gallon of the above listed nutrients, every 3 days. (when the growing medium becomes 95% dry) Gave her a light selective de-leafing, to open up the inner bud-sites to more light. The timelapse shows me why I won't be transplanting like this again. (Slow growth/lost time from constricted root mass)

Auto Opium grew okay. She took a long time to flower, but has come to a finish. She did get a little too close to the grow light. She has a fruity hash smell and looks like it will be a good smoke. In this week, i defoliated most of the (very) sick leaves on both plants. Afghan Kush is really bushy, Blueberry not so much, she skinny. Both smell absolutely great. Both continue to sweel and grow. We are now, same as in the BPP diary, in what i call the "mostly boring" state. its nice to see the visual changes in the timelapse, but other than that, not much to do besides water them. Both have discontinued to show any new or lets say worse signs of any deficiencies, there are now some overfeeding signs but i rather have that then them trying to creep by. Watering reduced to 2.2L for each to account for them taking to long to dry out. Roots are STACKED, the soil is almost solid by them. Next grow will be in airpots since i also expect root issues here(ringroots or the like, maybe damage due to overwatering in like week 3/4). Timelapse i will add tomorrow. Week 8, 26 September - 2 October 2025 26- Sept - 2 Oct - Observed and let the plant grow. 1 Oct - Removed damaged/dieing leaves. This was the first significant removal of leaves from this plant. Only those that were damaged or dieing were cut. A plant this small needs as much canopy as it can get. You have to be careful not to remove too many leaves when the plant is in flower. - 2 Oct changed nutrient solution - 2 Oct updated feeding schedule - Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 - Adjusting PH to 6.1 daily using GH up/down - Nutrient solution EC 2.1 at 72 degrees F - Light power at 75%, DLI 45 canopy coverage at 18hrs - Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week.
