I have had some troubles this week. I have lost quite a few fish (not sure why) I am also showing signs of light burn/nutrient deficiency. I had to put netting around the sides because they grew taller than they should have and started falling over from the weight. The buds are filling out quite well, some of the hairs are starting to turn orange. It wont be long before harvest.

Started flush on plant #3. Harvested plant #2 on day 91. Trichomes were all cloudy. Plant #1 is going strong and fattening up. She’s a thirsty one too, watering every other day.

The new developing growth is green so everything seems to be going well. I’m gonna give it another week and then I’ll defoliate. So far so good. having a little trouble reversing the wrath rock, candy icy cuts. but I’m not worried. I have backups of the mothers and I have backups of those backups so I’ll definitely still be able to take another shot after seeing the results from this grow ….

🌿 Permanent Marker — Final Report From Seed to Harvest, Numbers to Resin (Week 13 from Seed / End of Journey) ⸻ 🌟 A Closing Note Before We Begin This is the final chapter of the Permanent Marker diary. The cover is already done, the story is already lived — and now it’s time to put the numbers, the techniques, and the results on the table, clearly and honestly. This grow was documented with love, transparency, and detail from seed to harvest — and it truly deserves to be seen as a whole. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — The Journey Two phenotypes. Same genetics. Two completely different expressions. • Pheno #1 – tall, expressive, stretching toward the light, dense and compact buds, strong color expression late in flower. • Pheno #2 – shorter, more compact plant structure, slightly fluffier buds, deep greens, elegant and balanced. Both were grown organically, with patience and respect for the plant’s rhythm. ⸻ ⚖️ Final Harvest Numbers • Permanent Marker – Pheno #1: ➜ 249 grams dry & cured • Permanent Marker – Pheno #2: ➜ 212 grams dry & cured ✅ Total Final Yield: ➡️ 461 grams of dry, cured, high-quality medicine These numbers come from fully cured material, not fresh-dry or early-weighed flowers. ⸻ 💡 Energy & Efficiency The plants occupied only part of the tent space, using approximately: • ~300 watts total Considering the quality, density, and terpene richness of the final product, these are numbers I’m extremely happy with — especially knowing this was grown with an organic, low-input philosophy, letting the soil and biology do the work. ⸻ ✂️ Trim & Post-Harvest Handling Both phenos were handled exactly the same way, to keep comparisons fair: • Whole-plant hang dry • ~14 days drying • Hand-trimmed only • Trim Bin used for clean separation • Careful bud handling with fingers and scissors • No rushing, no machines, no shortcuts After trimming, everything was stored and cured in Grove Bags, labeled with Zamnesia tags for long-term organization and traceability. ⸻ Cure & Smoke After 2–2.5 months of curing, both phenos showed: • Very similar terpene profiles • Loud floral notes • Clean burn • Beautiful finger ash • Smooth smoke Different structures, same soul. ⸻ Extractions — Low Temp, High Expression This genetic truly shines when extracted. 🔥 Pressing Setup • Press: 7-ton press • Material: Flower • Bagged & pressed • Wrapped in parchment paper Press Parameters • Temperature: ~69°C • Press Time: ~4–5 minutes Post-Press • Cold cured for ~2 months The result was exceptional: • Extremely rich terpene preservation • Clean, expressive flavor • Resin texture evolved beautifully over cure • Everything we described during flower translated directly into the extract Permanent Marker is clearly a top-tier extraction genetic. ⸻ 📸 Documentation & Photography This diary also explored visual documentation deeply: • Macro photography • Focus stacking • Some images composed of 200+ stacked photos for a single final image • Camera used: Sony a6000 + a6700 + Sony full-frame gear + macro lens • Editing and photo stacking done in Affinity Photo 2 For those curious: Photo stacking is a technique where multiple images at different focus depths are combined to create one ultra-sharp image , some of the ones shared here are a combination of over 60 photos converted in a single one — essential for trichomes and resin documentation. End of week 4 and all is going well, had a slight calcium issue on a couple of leaves, but it was corrected and all is good again. This girl is responding well to the nutes, but my run-off is getting a little high, that should change when I cut out the Flora Micro and just feed calmag, Dnectar and KoolBoom for the next couple of weeks. Any comments or suggestions? Wish me luck.... just a few weeks to harvest now.

Hello 👋… This week kicks off w8 of flower for unknown but, again I’m a few days behind. As the pics and vid for this week suggests she’s, fading quite well and looks to be ready in maybe a week or so. Temps have been under control this week and with that being said she’s still packing on “frost” and her smell is something that, definitely rocks in a very stink but amazing way 😷🤤🤤. She’s also finished with recent end of 3w nute feed (Dr. Earth 💪) so I’m just letting her, finish up depleting what’s left in the medium. This week kicks off (few days behind as well) w13 for wwa. As you can see still fattening up and packing more frost on as well. I’ve been checking for maturity of trichomes (still very new) and haven’t seen any majority of, milky cloudy or amber trichomes. I’m basically waiting for her to show me she’s ready and I believe that, maybe another week will do the job 🤞🤞🤷‍♂️. Also stopped feeding nutes as well. Oh yesssss and it’s VERY obvious that wwa will be producing some purple excellence 🤩😎😎. Thanks for stopping by reader/fellow growmie. If you feel that I’m wrong please help a noob out! Will post more picks and some of trichomes ✌️. Ps…. Soooo this part is actually an edit in which, I added more photo’s and most definitely believe both girls to be ready, judging by recent look at trichomes. However looking for more amber even though it isn’t necessary because, I prefer a “certain” relief 😮‍💨

So far so good they are starting to slow down on stretching and getting some nice pretty white flowers. The Little girl might still impress after all.

Another week successfully completed... All the plants are developing very well, the flowers are plumping up nicely, and all the plants smell great... Everything is as expected, and now we're closer to the end than before... Happy growing to all! 🌱🌿💪

End of week one of germination . Currently setting up veg tent and still tinkering with set up . Germinated in pre soaked rock wool cubes with rooting stims and a 1ml of m g b and then cover with a bit of light mix and just using cal mag water watered over the top when required , when they start to take off I’ll use a mix with rooting Stims Again to get theM working with the autopot system Pizza , luv & Techno ;)

Preflower went pretty normal. She's a big lady. Week went as expected but I am pleasantly surprised at her size and rapid flowering on this pheno.

Day 63 from seed, about 5 weeks into flower 🌹✌️🏽🌱 Plant has finally stopped growing vertically, stopped at 57 cm, Considering the topping and LST, that's pretty high i would say. Had to do another huge defoliation and cutting down all immature branches and popcorn buds. Also started to add Atami bloombastic (pk14-15) for the second stage of flower. All in all everything is going smoothly now, buds getting bigger in size, although still fluffy. Hopefully they'll get danser in the next week or so🤞🏽 Until next week ppl 😎✌️🏽💚

Day 73 Ho tolto entrambe le Watermelon Zkittlez. Non sono contento per come le ho trattate e per non essermi accorto dei problemi mostrati fin da inizio fioritura della Watermelon Zkittlez #2 (quella tutta gialla con foglie secche). Pensavo a una carenza e quindi ho continuato ad aggiungere calmag quando molto probabilmente era un blocco di ph e conseguente mancato assorbimento dei nutriente. Morale della favola?Fiori piccoli con resina che non ha minimo odore. Dagli errori si impara e finalmente mi sono comprato una pennetta Ph (Adwa Ad12) e non le solite cazzate che trovo su amazon e mi durano qualche giorno per poi rimanere senza e inciampare sempre in questi problemi. L'altra pianta stava bene fino a quando sono stato bene io. Alla fine loro vanno seguite e se ti assenti un attimo tante volte rischi di mandare tutto il lavoro all'aria. Fino al 60esimo giorno era perfetta poi per tre giorni sono stato male e non ho dato da bere alla pianta. Quando riapro il box la trovo tutta floscia e le cime molli e senza quell'odore che tanto mi stava colpendo nei giorni precedenti. Ora la lascio chiusa nei barattoli e vediamo se riesce a regalarmi un piccolo sorriso 😊 Grazie del passaggio. Due tre settimane aggiorno diario con qualche bella foto 🖐️

She was switched to flower this week, and is starting to stretch through the net. I decide not to let her grow any taller and rather save some time and let her stretch directly through screen, she seems very happy with the nutrients and will continue with this mix until she shows real signs of flower. And then will start the flower solution.
