Buds fattening up and pistols turning orange. Some floral, skunky, diesel smell but nothing crazy, which is nice. Looking at the trichomes at Day 45, 4 weeks before planned harvest, they are looking milky. Which is weird. Maybe I’m wrong?

Aug 30: still hot. Sep 2: heat wave is now past and we’re now into a couple days of smoke. Cut back water volume from 9 L/day when it was hot to 5-6 L lately. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow it up with a red light.

Last week ahead. Next time will cut nitrogen earlier. These ice cream cakes did not like it at this level. Also had a little dripper clog and mokums tulip got a little burnt. At these high ec levels they are super sensitive to drybacks.

Sprouted in 24hrs, directly into soil with the sprayer mixed light with velokelp.

They seem to have stopped stretching and are now focusing on the buds. Very odd coloration happening on the leaves of the left plant. I'm thinking it's either a calcium deficiency or a manganese deficiency. Either way the buds are developing nicely still. Right is looking great right now, save for a few spider mites I had to squish earlier last week. Nice and frosty at 5th week of flower. If all goes well with both of these girls, I'll be harvesting them at the end of January. I'll definitely give them a bud washing b/c I found mites. Update 1/2/22: okay I've got a few notes to make on the progress as a whole. So after topping right, it seems like she started producing flowering hormones right after. While left focused on stretching for like a week more. Right has fat, compact and frosty buds- shaped like golf balls. Left has spire-shaped buds, not AS dense(still dense though, mind you), and less frost. So I'm thinking left is staggered behind right by about a week. Since this is week 5, we'll be able to tell just how far ahead she is by week 8.

If I woulda left it a little longer I coulda brought out much more color but even so there are purples and reds and 10 different color greens. Headband might have taken the award for density away from the enemy's dream. The headband and critical purp both had some purple. Can't wait to smoke em all. Welcome to my Lemon Orange by GREEN HOUSE SEEDS.. 1st set of nodes were removed with 1 fingered leafs they are energy sappers. Weeks 2-3 Days 9-21 Plant pushing along really fast really nice growers. She's been the one that's taken to the cold temperatures/ low RH the best. She's the biggest. And I'm a wk ahead. But' these past 2 weeks. I FLMING It and moved it into a 7L pot. And then when I felt I had enough shoots I then topped the Fliming just kept throwing out shoots, so after you see 4 very close you usually then top the tops and will be left with tight intersnodea usually resulting in an X shape if grow out. As it just keeps growing up. It has a real nice hight as she stands. The next week I tackle and defoliation her and will attempt to shape her in some fashion. But, I find. GHS strains when topped they rarely need shopping as its takes a natural shape.. but, I do plan t defoliation and LST her. Enzymes, pure Zym & Alga Grow have been used. Currently she sits in a 7L pot. She'll be moved to an 11l and then I'll decide what way to take her. Ppm is kept low as the soil is nutrient rich Royal mix. So? I only started adding small amounts of ALGA GROW as it takes a few days for the organic process to work. So adding in on wk 2 was what I did. Enzymes and Sugar Royal was also used. Along with a foliar spray of Vita Race as she looked she needed an iron kick. Looks like Dolomite lime is taken a bit longer. But, with such rapid growth. This plant is only showing slight signs of cal. The others are growing at a normal rate. And the slow but more effective method of slow release calcium over time looks to be doing well. I still use UltraPure Epsom Salt. Its the best source of mag/sulphur 250ppm feeds (that's tap included) with soil aim for 6.3-6.8 ph. Mine is 6.7. Alga feeds were just once a wk. 300ppm (tap included) ph doesn't need checking its organic so usually this nutrient (alga grow) gives 4.5ph, but? It does not need adjusting nor does any organic nutrient from plago when using soil. Week 1/2 40-42.5 750ppfd Week 3DLI 43.5-45 800 ppfd. . 17hrs this is and last 30mins is set at 15% to mimic sunset. Really drops light stress. And have noticed big drop in leaf dropping and much easier plant growth. Helps I've a top lux meter. Money well spent. Week 4 of flower started on 4/25. Did another moderate defoliation on the larger dark green fan leaves to open the canopy up for more light. Hoping to get bigger buds this go round.
