Things are goin on as they should the girls are getting more bushy than tall which is what I wanted but everything is on cruise control. Only watering when soil is dry and I’m about to start giving them silica on a routine basis in low doses just for added nutrient uptake. Week 6 has come and gone. It’s safe to say that this plant is done stretching. Quite a growth spurt from week 4 till now. Time to pack on the buds. Buds are really developing this week. Looking like they are already turning purple. Lots of frost starting in just the second week of flower which makes me very happy and excited to see what she can do in the coming weeks. This plant is sucking up the water now, I’m having to water 1.25 gallons in my 5 gallon fabric pot every 3 days. I’ve defoliated quite a bit but I think one more round will be needed this week. She has had ZERO signs of any nutrient issues thus far so I’m hitting her with 2.2EC on the next water. I’m very happy with the plant growth, although I could have tied down the two taller branches a little better. The crazy thing is they are the second branch on the plant so they started all the way at the bottom. Gotta love LST. It’s looking like I’ll have 10-12 main branches producing well.

I’ve added VPD to my dashboard and have now dialed in my climate for a perfect VPD. Home assitant dashboard controlling lamp, up/down humidity and cooling. Exhaust is going to be used to scrub the air and back into the tent. After adding C02 I’m now doing a sealed grow to take better control of the environment. I was dealing with high temps I put a evaporative cooler just in case if I need to up the humidity or lower the temps.

Germinated on Sat Sept 8th, 2018 @ 6pm. Tap roots within 18 hours on all. Planted into Coco-Coir (straight) with added Cal-Mag and B1 # 280 PPM and 6PH. Currently running 2 x P450 Platinum LEDs. Most likely overkill but will be putting a 3rd in next week to get full coverage. Lights currently on half power until flip. Autopots are a dream.

wow! this girl also took the fish shit i gave her last week and turned it into huge buds! I am going to do this every year from now onwards. No visible PWM either, just like the others. Will go out to the pot patch mid week after this leftover weather from hurricane Fiona clears to see how they fared in the high humidity and low temps.

This weeks update! Grow tent- so I had a buddy do my res change I talked him through the whole process couldn’t make it to the grow this week. Number and everything where perfect but!. He didn’t close the valve all the way to the blue dream res tank and left the drain pump on🤦‍♂️🏾. So when I got there this week leaves where curling and brown thought it might be a nutrient issue. Opened the res to check it. And there was only about a gallon of water in there out of the usual seven. No major harm I was planning on doing my last defoliation to her this week anyway. But that could have been bad. They are both receiving half strength nutes of the ripening mix GH recommends. Would have been a perfect week if not for that. No harm no foul tho. But def bout to start pushing them on the flower nutes and get back up to my 1000 ppm range buy adding extra bloom formula! #Staykited

The big day is here! 😎 Today, March 28th, 104 days (15 weeks) after germination, I have harvested my first indoor photoperiod plant. It has been an incredible challenge, especially managing it in the middle of a winter environment, but the results speak for themselves. 📏 Harvest Data (Wet Weight) -Total Wet Weight: 56.5 grams (15.7g + 40.8g). -Final Height: 40 cm of pure density. -Status: Rock-hard buds and an impressive resin layer. -Dry Estimate: I estimate that after water loss (60-70% less), the final dry weight will be between 14 and 17 grams, given how dense the buds are and the cold conditions we’ve faced. 🌡️ Process Summary -Managing a grow with lows of 12°C for my first indoor photoperiod experience has been difficult. I am aware that a climate control system would have been ideal, but the budget is what it is 😆. Despite the limitations, using lukewarm water for irrigation and controlling the lamp height were vital. This plant has been a great learning experience, and I am sure the next one will be much better, applying everything I’ve discovered during these 15 weeks. Now, on to a slow and controlled dry so the flavor is as spectacular as its look! I want to wrap up this diary by thanking everyone who has joined me during these 15 weeks. Your likes, and comments have been an extra motivation to pull this Critical through despite the cold challenges. It has been an incredible learning journey, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my first indoor photoperiod plant. This girl is still doing her thing, there are a lot of white pistils and she just keeps on swelling up. I can't wait to see the yield off this girl.
