Update of the garden

I've reduced the EC to 1.4 this week, a bit lower than I initially planned for, but I decided to keep it like that, at least for the week. There isn't much going on, aside from the continuing fox-tailing on the NYC and BJ. I will probably chop the CBD very soon and maybe the SAD shortly after.

Hey everyone 😃. Day 1 : The seeds were placed between 2 moist towels to germinate and sealed in a box. Day 2 : No change . Day 3: Both seeds have sprouted and you can see a small tip of the root coming out. Day 4: The tip of the root looks out about 0.5 - 1 cm. today they were set in stone wool blocks. These were placed in water beforehand and mixed with a little Rizotonic to stimulate root formation. Day 5: Today, both seedlings stick their heads out about 1 cm 😊. (The grow box is sprayed under the hood every day to keep it moist.) Day 6: Today the heads are already looking 2 cm out. Day 7: Both rock wool blocks were planted in Canna Coco, and some water with an Ec mixture 0.4 was added. So they stay under the hood for about 7-10 days. (The lid is opened a little wider every 2-3 days to get used to the lower humidity. Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! Update for grow question: @The8thChevron thanks!!! I pulled them and will hope for the best for now. So close to the finish line. If I see more trouble brewing I will pull the plant. I don't know where to start and I must admit I'm completely overwhelmed by this beautiful beautiful plant ❤️❤️❤️ Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I'm so happy 😍😍😍 She is a blessing! Excuse the outburst, but she is magical ☀️ I applaud you guys at Humboldt for creating such a wonderful strain 🙌 Some details upfront, before I rave some more: - 134 Days in total: 70 Days in Veg, 64 Days in Flower with 128W LED in a 60x60x160cm tent - 7 Days Drying regularly, 9 Days Drying in the Fridge - 432g - Wet weight with stems - 103g of those for Fresh Harvest Infused Oil - 190ml Olive oil with 30mg/ml THC & CBD - approx. 20g dry (for dry weight calc.) - 87g for the DrZiggy's Low And Slow Drying in the fridge - 20g dry - 242g for regular Drying @50% RH and 22°C - 55g dry - 30g dried sticky trim in the freezer Summary of my growing experience with this strain: She takes well to massive training and a little neglect in the beginning, meaning she recovers well, which is what I want 😊 I didn't experience any major deficiencies. She had a little nitrogen deficiency during the later veg phase, which she showed with lighter green leaves. I blame this on my long veg time and my pot size of only 11l. She consumed all her soil and nutes by the end of veg. I will keep that in mind for my next grow. Since I increased my nitrogen levels so close to flowering phase, I overdid it a little on the nitrogen which showed a little bit during later flowering phase with downwards clawing leaves. So I will be more careful with nitrogen especially while transitioning into Flower. I did not flush this plant and she smokes already beautifully mild after only a couple of days of curing. Drying her took 7 days in the tent and 9 days in the fridge. She crusted up with lots of stickiness while drying and gave off a good bit of scissor hash & kief when trimming. Smoking her is a great and different experience to me. It's my first time with a 1:1 strain and I can definitely notice the CBD content. She shows in a very well balanced body high with a slight and gentle knock on the THC door. The first couple of days I felt a craving for higher THC which settled down after only a couple of days. Very interesting and definitely worth growing. So you guessed right, I totally recommend growing this beauty. Especially if you are interested in exploring a 1:1 THC:CBD strain with all its magical medicinal values 🙏 Why I grew this strain: Like @Experimentgreen on here, I grew this strain for my Mama ❤️ She is open minded to trying to solve some of her health issues with these beautiful plants and the magic they bring but she also likes to have a bit of fun, she doesn't mind. So a 1:1 strain was quite handy. She suffers from neuropathic pain, arthritis in her joints, restless legs and insomnia. All very relatable issues and perfectly suitable to be introduced to some good CBD and THC content. She already has a little tolerance, since she is treating her restless legs with gummi bears I made with a strength of 1.5mg/gummi bear. This small dose already helps her on a daily for her restless legs. Beautiful 😍 So with this special mission in mind, I wanted to process the plant with only the very best options and create Cannabis Oil (Capsules) for my Mom to take. I chose a method called "Fresh Harvest Infused Cannabis oil" by the wonderful member SweetSue over at 420magazine: https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/fresh-harvest-infused-cannabis-oil.363371/ I hope it's ok to relink, no need to duplicate already existing and well researched content, right? I will not go into detail and def. recommend reading through the whole thread. I only document the short version here, but feel free to ask me, I'm happy to share my experience. The oil I made has 30mg/ml of THC and CBD. That's a good value. I calculated the strength the following: 75g fresh Flower in 200ml Olive Oil - with 10% CBD&THC 85% extraction efficiency with the infusion method 85% * 10% THC&CBD = 0.0850 0.0850 * 75g = 6.375 gram of available THC & CBD 6.375gram * 1000 = 6375mg/THC 6375mg/CBD 6375mg/200ml = 31.875mg/ml CBD & THC I created capsules with 3mg per capsule. We are currently trying to find the right dose for her. She started taking one capsule 60-90min before bed for 3 days now and will increase by 1 capsule tonight. We continue until a max dose of 15mg/day but always re-evaluate how she feels. She's documenting her experience quite cute. Very heartwarming and powerful. So far she sleeps better and she falls asleep faster, which she hadn't done in a long while. Onset is pretty precisely between 60 and 90 minutes. She has not had any restless legs so far. I'm excited for her and can't wait to see where this takes us. I also made her a salve/creme she uses as a topical on her joints. When she uses it early enough, before the big pain hits, she feels it helps. Of course this is not a science study and everything is purely based on personal experience. I thought I share, in case anyone is interested, also I want to give back a little, since I consume so much knowledge from all over the internet, including here, so thanks 🙏

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

Whiskers have started to grow..still no Buds though. Stem is long and the plant is a bit slender and spaced out. Watering it every 3 days and fertilising every 7 days. Hopefully I start to see the buds!

9/9 Still looking for the cause of the top fading only on the light colored phenos think its P will address tomorrow, want a couple more weeks from these guys at least. 9/10 Looking better top dressed the Happy Frog 3 tbs/plant watered with Bio-Bloom 3tsp /gal and Big Bloom 3tsp/gal 9/13 D62 Just finishing the week things are pretty stable. Nuet issues resolved and buds building nicely taking on a more fuzzy appearance with straight new growth hairs. Pics at lights out if I remember Looking at 9/27 for a harvest date or at least its penciled in on the calendar. Next feed is full

Day 30 - Zero stress noticed since the last strip and top. Her leaves are green and healthy, and she has given me no complaints post trimming! Day 32 - Checking out her top sites, she's looking really good! Another day or two I'll start training the branches out and top them each one more time. Her fan leaves are huge and gorgeous! 😍 Day 33 - Introduced some handcuffs to the game. 😉 As the two branches on each side begin to grow out, I want to guide them horizontally away from each other. I threw some ties around each new branch, anchoring it to its adjacent fan leaf. By doing this, I am using the anchor point to help guide the growth while the branch is still new and bendy - this should hopefully lay me down an easier foundation to work with as we move toward the next steps. Now that each new branch has grown just past its first node, I will be making the last round of topping later today. I'll be putting it all together in the next video in my Let's Mainline Series on IGTV, so stay tuned because I'll be sharing that here as well! ✌️💜🌱 *** went ahead and topped each of my 4 branches at their 1st nodes. Re-anchored them down with plant ties. This girl is a beast! 💪
