Start of week 2 There growing like clock work taking the first nutrients like a champ and now we have improved there invoirment they going to take off. Finally have put up the new setup from spider farmer together and I am very pleased with a modern version more control and can watch from distance what's going on . The Tropicana Cookie is an awesome strain with a great sweet and woody aroma. I had some issues in the beginning with the development and the grow of the plant but she bounced back. She got cut today and put to dry.

Gorilla Cookies is growing well. Making some nice progress. I had to give them some organic calmag because that is all I could get locally but it seems to be working. pH has held steady and the leaf color is looking great on all the plants. Haven't had to do any maintainence this week other than defoliate a few bottom leaves and spread some branches out a little. Plants are growing bigger than I thought they would so I will have to figure something out to get them spread further apart soon. Just going to keep the juice pumping and the lights beaming. Hoping to get them under the QB lights soon. She is 28 days old in a 16 oz cup. No roots have grown out of the cup at any time. No roots have been trimmed or touched. Happy growing everyone!

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Had a little flush issue this week. Needed to leech the soil of any buildup from my soil grow. Plants are responding well. Large amounts of trichomes everywhere. Just hitting with the micro nutes and a few more tricks before we wrap up this grow. Running out of height in my closet these baby's are still stretching to the lights. Enjoying the grow and watchingy lady's do there thing.

So this is 5 days into flower or switch to 12/12. I saw some dude on Instagram with like buds forming (around what would usually be 30’days in) and said he was 14 days in flower and I was like wtf no way and he argued with me for a while until he explained he’s counting from 2 weeks after flip to 12/12 and that’s the way you’re supposed to do it?? Lol ok bro Anyways. These girls are just the most vigorous growers I’ve seen in a long time, maybe ever. It probably helps I’ve got my nutes and coco down after a handful of runs with issues and over feeding and drying out too fast.. you live you learn and I feel this is going to be an amazing end result. Stretch is on. 1 and 4 seem to be more stretchers and 2 and 3 are not as much. All have created nice even Canopies without too much LST or intervention. Likely going to take off a bit of the lower growth on each one in the next week. They all are looking nice and healthy now that they are in my flower room with more environmental control. PotG 1 is a great grower with a little more vertical growth even in veg than all the others, and now in flower showing that in her stretch. Gaining more than an inch a day probably closer to 2 PotG 2 is kinda the middle child. Good growth and nice even canopy. Not too much stretch yet. PotG 3 is looking good, I think she’s got a bit more indica traits as far as staying stout as well as the fatter fan leaves. Keep an eye on her to show out. PotG 4 is by far the biggest overall - and almost as tall as 1. Canopy nice and even and lateral growth is just what I like to see. I think she’ll be the biggest yielder. That said she’s the only one still with some mild issues showing on a few leaves. Likely still the mag or some micros, but I’m not too concerned as she’s growing at lightning speed so those deficiencies might just be from that quick growth. We’ll see. Stay tuned, we got a killer few weeks ahead. OCTOBER 12 - Holy shit these are the most vigorous growers I’ve seen in a long time. So impressed! #1 is putting on 2 inches a day stretching OCTOBER 15 update- (10ish days in flower) umm these are gonna run outta room. Hope stretch stops soon but I will accommodate if not. Really canopies are developing as perfectly as I could ask for save for pheno 1 which has more internodal distance and stretching more - two mains are growing like 24 inches above the rest of the canopy. this week the plant has grown well I'm being struck by the compactness of the plant which is very close between one internode and another I hope it continues like this and stays nice and compact, or started using the water produced by the dehumidifier which is basic ph 6.4/6.6 and an ec between 0.3 and 0.5 and however not with chlorine or other added things as it is water recovered from the air and allows me an error regime with a higher ec because it is based on a lower ec than the tap water which I used to use after decanting with this I hope I don't have problems but we'll see for now and ok, rating for the performance held this week and a nice 10 ahaha unfortunately for me it's a male I'm right but I don't despair I'll use it to mix it with my don diablo and try to make it stay more compact between one internode and the other, since she has a very compact growth while easing a male.

Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

Due to all excitement about the first grow didn’t take any photo of the germination. Used 2x 0,5 water bottles and a wet paper towel for germination. All 6 of the seeds germinated in about 30h. Room temperature was 22 with 65% humidity. I didn't have enough coco for all 6 seeds so I put 3 seeds of amnesia into one bucket. On the 2nd day I found out that You should not pit Your lights on 95% in the first week 😳 Now it’s running on about 27%. At the moment I have only one marshydro ts1000. But I figured that for the first week it will do the trick. Hopefully the second one will arrive sometime next week. At day 3 my coco finally arrived and I could put the 2 couchsurfers into their own pots. Since they are small (about 3cm) they fell out of the soil...but due to them not having any proper roots I hope they wont stress out much about the transplant (although everybody warns about not transplantong autos) So at the end of the first week I must say it is not rocket science but I made some serious mistakes that wont happen next time. Will definetly add perlite next time and be extra carefull with germination.
