Week 5 Did my second topping on both headbands

Aug 22 - Aug 28 Week 16 (Day 106-Day 112) The Low Down- Plants responded well to the Advanced Nutrients I watered with a couple of days ago. By 'responded well' I just mean that they didn't yellow or adversely react. I'm still watering 2 gallons per day per plant when I water, but I skipped a day since I don't want to get root rot. Twice before I have had the plants get waterlogged at the bottom of the pot (obviously right =-) ), and I didn't know then that it caused the leaves to yellow from the bottom up. I honestly thought I had nutrient burn. That said, I skipped a day on the watering. I applied kelp meal on day 111. I broke my rule and used Monterey B.T. on day 111. Honestly--I felt scared because I can't inspect the plants everyday so I went for the Monterey b.t. to combat the caterpillars. Not sure if I will apply again since we are in flowering. The Plants- The plants look great and smell great. Thank you EQuillibrium Genetics. Everyday they get a little more aromatic. The smell is somewhere between minty/lemony/orangey and some bomb ass weed. Will definitely hit. One day I could've sworn it smelled like that Gary Payton weed, basically kushy, citrusy, and a little sour diesely. On DAY 108 in the morning they smelled like orange fanta. Amendments- I applied kelp meal on DAY 111 (Aug 22). The quality has improved in my plants since I started more actively amending the soil a few years back. Before I just used to add that Alaska fish emulsion directly on the soil once a month. Now I use Kelp Meal from Down-to-Earth and the Bud Candy and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients. I even used some cha-ching from Fox Farms at the end of last season. I don't start adding anything until at least a month or two into the grow because the soils I use already come amended. I also continue using the soil year after year. I take all the soil at the end of the year and place it on a tarp. Then I add perlite, bone meal, blood meal, kelp meal, molasses, coffee grinds, banana peels, egg shells, and mix it all up. I let that sit for a couple of weeks or longer and then start using it on my potted plants in the garden. If I have enough left over after 2 months I will fill up the fabric pots again and plant clover, thyme, and oregano during the off season.

Tag 72: Die letzte Blütewoche hat begonnen. Die beiden Pflanzen sehen ganz gut aus, sie riechen auf jedenfalls stark. Der Geruch hält sich lange. Was auf eine gut feuchte in den Blüten schließt aber nicht muffig sondern sehr aromatisch.

Checked out the trichomes yesterday, just to be sure, I think they’re 2-4 weeks away from harvest. This week I also fed them and slightly defoliated some leaves that were blocking light on some buds.

I am more than happy with the Strawberry Gorilla from 420Fastbuds This is my first attempt at hydroponics, but it's going well. The plant grows incredibly quickly. I made her a new and stronger nutrient solution. The PH rose to 6.5 over the last night. I check once a day. Now the PH value is back to 5.7. If you have any tips, criticism or anything, please write to me!! On the 20th day I started with LST and used Plant Trainer. I'm still thinking about topping her.

The buds got a little bigger and more pistels are getting orange. The plants are also taking up less water. A lot of trichomes are turning milky or are already milky and a few are amber. They're about to reach harvest within a week or so. First I would like to see more amber trichomes. I've also dicovered a swollen calyx with a seed so there must be a hermaphrodite in the room. That's the disadvantage of a scrog setup. You can't check everything 100% So some buds will have seeds, I just hope not too much. 🤞 This was this weeks menu for the Pineapple Chunks: Day 1 → Dry Day 2 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 3 → Dry Day 4 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45 – ph 6.5) Day 5 → Dry Day 6 → Each 1000 ml (0.26 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients. 8 ml Terra Bloom, 2 ml Power Buds and 2 ml Green Sensation was added to 4 liter (1 gallon) of tapwater (ec 1.24 – ph 6.4) This was the last time they've got nutrients. Day 7 → Dry From now on they'll only get ph adjusted tapwater mixed with deminiralized water to get an EC value of 0.3 and I'm going to add CannaFlush to one batch next week. Cobs stayed with the same power and height as last week and that was 320 watt at 45 cm (17.7 inch) → DLI 43/PPFD 995 Next week DLI/PPFD will get lowered to 38/880 for 4 days and then lowered again to 35/810 till the end of the run. Temperatures fluctuated between 19.2 – 28.7 °C (66.5 – 83.6°F) and humidity levels between 42 – 70% Till next week! 🇩🇪🏆**Grow Report by Zuppler - Week 4 Flowering Phase** 👸🏼 Ayo, what’s good fam? Zuppler back at it with that Week 4 flowering update. The grow room is lit right now, and these ladies are showin' out. I ain’t change much this week – just raised the lights up a bit to give ‘em some more headspace and went ahead and snipped off a few more of them lower branches. Ain’t nobody got time for them popcorn buds, feel me? The canopy’s lookin’ tight, main colas gettin’ chunky, just how I like it. All that energy’s goin’ straight to the top, so we’re stackin' up some serious weight. And yo, that one plant up front on the left? She’s a real keeper, no doubt. She’s standin’ out like a queen, buds frosty as a winter morning in the Panhandle. I’m already knowin’ she’s gonna be the star of the show. Everything’s still on point – temps, humidity, and the girls are drinkin’ up that RO water and Advanced Nutrients like it’s a cold drink on a hot day. Ain’t no stressin', no deficiencies, just straight fire in the making. It’s all about lettin’ ‘em swell now, and I can already tell this harvest ‘bout to be a banger. This plant just got flushed so all old salts are gone, tommorow i start watering with just finalpart at 3ml/L she will be ready one week later, 10 days max. So next update is harvest.

Hey there, as the clones are almost ready and I will transplant them in the aeroponic system tomorrow, I allowed myself to get the pH and EC ready and stabilize it over a night. 😏 August, 20th: 23 of the 30 clones made it to the system and are now growing fine. Guess those 7 clones that didn‘t make it were old ones from below the mother plant. SanLights at 40%. ☀️
