I started using Botanicare Hydroguard to take care of the roots and it works great. Got them back healthy. The light leaks to the reservoir have hopefully been resolved as well. The smell coming from the box isn't too strong and will catch you off guard here and there, but not too noticeable. You can also get a good look at the trichomes forming on the buds and leaves.

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Welcome to my MilkyWay F1 Auto Diary, Untopped VS topped. Results are in. Days 71-82 ripening 0-13 week 11&12 Went well. She did bulk up a tad. But not much. They spent most their lives under a 100w. But, the bud is really dense all over. No larf, at all. Its a really good quality of bud I'm getting from both phenos. As far as ToppedVsUntopped well, that result is in. With a seeds used from the same pack (same parent) making true F1s as they need to be from the same batch. It why we all got different phenos, and those who ran more than 1, from their seeds, the phenos are very close. One of mine had more of a fade and looks more purple. Both smell very lovely & fruity. Nice trichome production with very dense but, rather small buds if I do say so. But the grade itself is very high. (As grade is not rated on size) overall both turned out very similar. Even fade wise, they've both developed a lovely colour finishing under high co2 environment with the SE5000 really has brought out a lot of fade i normally do not get. look at the start. It was only a few days under this light and the past 14 days they've both popped. I will also say. A lot of their life was spent under a 12-12 (3/5s of flowering). Topped VS Untopped pheno 2 & 1 Are very similar as I've stated this area will be filt in with harvest comments. Bud smell. How the dry went. And after a weeks cure. I'll rate it. So watch this space. These 2 phenos have been on just water for 10 days. I did a quick run off test. Got back 145ppm my tap is 110. So, they're good to go. Trichome wise. 95% cloudy 30-35% amber. (Hard to see, I'll try get pics with my scope) but, as you see. Both are fully ripened. Anymore and its just bud deg. Both plants leaves are showing end of life. Some are dying. (I'VE BEEN WATCHING THESE LEAVES AND SEEN THEY'VE BEEN DEAINED, ITS NOT BR) Lights The SE5000 was used for the Ripening phase. With high temps and co2 i pushed my boundaries and got a lovely fade reaction from doing so. How I know its down to this light as I've put my Runtz under it. And as soon as I did. It developed fade. My Frosted G even started getting light purple on its sides. The temp in tent has been pushed to 31-33c (that's not leaf temp as I've fans blowing on my plants, and that lowers surface temps by a few degrees.) They've been on 17hrs of high powered light. At 25-30cm id no choice. My temps are mad high this time of year. Harvested Both plants are been pult they're getting their last few hrs. You'll then see the last few pics in a few hrs. I'll get bud shots later, smoke reviews and then to be fair. I'll then mark it by the GD rating system. As I do with all my strains. (So I've 2-3 wk delay in my diaries as they're Harvested, mostly) both plants I'll try push them as far as I can through the drying process whole. But, as I'm dealing with high temps. Lower RH and a fastercl dry is pref to a longer dry in hot conditions might not make sense, but 30+ hot weather harvests, I've got this down. Mind you only this round all my other hot harvests some took a few weeks to rid the hay smell. This avoids it and locks in potency. Most of the drying is done by leaving the plant in the substrate just before the plant goes for itself for fluids. 4-5 day dry as opposed to 5-6 day dry with weed that loses half its stenght. (dry harvesting look it up) Thanks to James from RQS, although I know everyone and their sister got the offer for these seeds I am defo going to be trying more from RQS, if it's buying. I'll get round to it, and depending on the quality of smoke it might be soon. If its a real nice auto, I'd love to try a fem of theirs for my winter crop in October. But, that'll depend. I've lots I want to buy & try.. and when favs are found. I'll invest. I would like to thank everybody for the activity this diary has gotten. Its possibly one of my most active diaries I've done without a harvest. And that's in no short means down to all the views and likes from you guys. And for sure I will fully complete it, with results on the smoke Quality from both phenos, if it varies, but, results thus far, structure wise they're shockingly similar. Scary so. Topping has very little affect to the structure. She grew a main cola. But both phenos, turned puples I will say the topped one was a more troublesome plant. Maybe that had a role onin its morphology. And maybe it'll affect the bud also. The topped was more demanding nutrient wise, and drank more. Maybe to support a more even bud load. (I've yet to do a through inspection, but on the VS front, it's kinda in the air about quality, structure wise, it had very little difference. Look for yourself at the heights are 3-4cm dif) lots still to come. And I'll update it soon with more results. The Afghan #1 feminised has been defoliated and opened up a bit more. The lady is doing considerably well displaying her new set of pistols looking like puffballs. She’s drinking twice the volume of waShe has 7 fingered leaves and has grown about 7cm this week. After the 16 days of flowering a give me lady a flush of pure water phd 6.0. She has no burnt tips and stands at 72cm tall.

D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. Not much has changed, to be honest. The flowers have fattened up a bit, and I see the first signs of senescence. ------------------------------ D63. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well. The Gorilla girl will soon be alone in the tent as the Purplematic will get chopped in a day or two. I will also change the lights, moving the Kingbrite light into the photo tent, and I'll put my trusted Viparspectra P600 in this tent instead. That will save quite a bit of energy, which is good considering the insane electricity prices we're having right now. ------------------------------

They are all coming along nicely. I’m concerned that they are fading a little early. I’ve used the nutrients may add a bloom booster

First pic is showing off some of the stretch that has occurred. We start “Above the Stakes”this week. -Sun 10th; it looks like the R plant is making a solid effort in its Stretch, which has just begun & is really happening. The L plant is flourishing and nearing the end of its own stretch. There is an image of the pair with 3’ showing on a tape measure as reference. Jan 11 Good things are happening as the circle of branches starts fill in ! ** as a side note, the Uv-B is going back on for 6hrs a cycle (3+3) after some more reading and the recent stretch action from the plant on the R. Nothing wrong with a weeks delay in nature between sisters & UV-B sounds like solid tech. Power is on again ** - Dinner-time after 4 days. - Hole drilled in overhead corner-bracket, to help Centre the Light. - Plants have been rotated a bit, LST (lashing-some-timber lol) re-positioned a bunch of branches/stakes, meshing the two plants together, in the middle. nuf snapshots. details as the week-ends. -Nutrient ratios are Max’d as the volume will continue to climb for 2 more big feeds. -rapid-start & cal/mg have already been dialed back a bit. My watering volume per/24hr now shows my water use in metric. That # is based on the last 2 meals and I’m now looking at 5 days without nutes... 14th, Steady progress all the way round. Moving lights and supports as needed. Reach continues on the Right plant, while the Left continues to look amazing -molasses in next feed (Sat), TDS to be updated 15th -the volume of water my plants have been receiving, has been larger each of the last 4 feedings. Extra time between feeds has been allotted and watering based on Pot weight/dryness is keeping the plants Full and Green. -The next feed will be half the volume of the last one. The goal tomorrow (day 5 since last feed) is to immediately satisfy the plants nutritional needs with a small meal (7 litres/2), but then it’s going to scream for more food. This time I will wait only 2 days and return to the larger volume and a 4-5 day cycle. That’s the plan. Goal was to raise both the volume and demand for more nutrients. (Without creating a swamp) It’s been kind of patchwork getting the numbers-up, and this is the first pause in that steady climb. Both plants seem to be firing in all cylinders. Sun Jan17 - adding Molasses to each feeding from Week 5 on in to harvest. - 2 days since last half-feed. Big feed tonight and 5 day gap next. -Reached my Max H2o volume with solid Nutrition #’s. Plan is to hold levels for week 5/6 and then begin to taper nutes & volume slightly in 7/8 and hold till flush (11) & harvest (12/13) ** this grow is my best effort yet, if anybody sees or feels it’s getting “sideways”... Letzte Tage vor der Ernte Auch hier in den letzten Tagen kaum noch Entwicklung. Die Pflanze stand optisch fertig, hat aber nicht mehr wirklich weitergereift. Foxtailing lief weiter auf bereits entwickelten Buds, ohne dass sich die Reife sichtbar nach vorne bewegt hat. Der Chop erfolgte ebenfalls aus praktischen Gründen, da ein weiteres Warten keinen klaren Mehrwert gezeigt hätte. 👉 Optisch fertig, aber ohne echten Abschluss. Kurzfazit: 👉 Unruhiger Finish-Verlauf ohne klaren Reifepunkt. Grow on 🌱 Last Days Before Harvest Again, very little development in the final days. The plant looked finished, but did not continue ripening in a meaningful way. Foxtailing continued on developed buds, without real progress in maturity. Chopped as well for practical reasons, since waiting longer showed no clear benefit. 👉 Looks done, but never fully completed. Quick summary: 👉 Unstable finish without a clearly defined ripening point. Grow on 🌱

Todas as 3 plantas estão bem, uma já está bem colorida como flores, outra está começando a dar um tom roxo e uma ficou bem pequena e está com os pestilos bem brancos e ficou pequena, foi com certeza uma falha que cometi no preparo do solo. Perdi duas plantas por isso. Estava intencionalmente exagerando no fertilizante, mas acho que a planta sentiu, vou retornar aos 4 ml por litro.

Just feeding auger and water and getting it right she love the low feed so yeah I like what she doing no the best looking but a she a keeper if you want a piney sweet smell it grows lanky as hell and the structure of the plant though but doesn’t have that appealing look while grow but hopefully the smoke is good cause that what we trying to get

Just another growth week. Random topping, FIMMING, light stress training. I will not be changing reservoir, just adding water with calcium nitrate, jacks and magnesium sulphate with pH corrections.

Was a wonderful result and would recommend this strain for anyone with basic gardening experience.

7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. Day 1 VEG tomorrow.. Water Change Day and first real meal...
