On day 1 I did another light defoliation. The plants are progressing as expected. The only issue I'm dealing with is fungus gnats... ugh. I will keep applying BTI weekly until the population is under control. On day 3 the plants are putting out more pistils and seem to have stopped or slowed down their "stretch" phase. On day 4 I'm starting to see some trichomes forming on the sugar leaves, no smell that I can discern yet. I also changed out my reservoir and applied a BTI soil drench. On day 5 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. I also purged my blumat system to make sure there are no clogs as my reservoir has fertilizer particles due to my water heater causing separation. I must keep the water heater on as I am growing in the northeast coming into the cold time of the year and can't have my reservoir freeze on me. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 7 I adjusted PH in reservoir to 6.1.

So day 21 of flower today, major defoliation done yesterday and feed only water and molasses phed to 6.5. The plants look good again but very bare with out the leafs, lots of light can peneetrate the lower buds now tho. Hopefully see some nice growth this week 😀. Day 23 of flower. Been battling humidity these past few days, with the de humidifier on i can get it to 48% so not to bad now, a good purchase lol. Plants are stinking really skunky when you open the room up, but to touch and smell its like pure citric 🍋 lemon. There Starting to put out lots of trichomes now, hopefully I have a good pheno.

This is my first plant so I'm waiting impatiently, I can't even assess whether it will be two ounces or maybe more :D It is certain that I have not even approached half the potential of this genetics. Auto Lemon Kix is ​​easy going seed for beginners, but using its potential is a completely different gravity. A person without experience like me, having a small tent 1.60 m high, will certainly have problems with kix dimensions a specially her high . Plant is growing well. Transplanted them from a 1 gallon pot into a 3 gallon pot this week.

I will continue with the Neem oil preventative, along with spreading some powdered cayenne pepper around the base of the plant to take care of any slugs that may think of trying a taste of sherbet! Blueberry Headband Grow Week 04 Flower Feb 29 In a state of transition. Started using 'Hygrozyme'. An enzyme that will supposedly keep my roots clean and root rot at bay. Wasn't quite the case. PH went up 10 fold and brown slime reappeared. Rinsed the roots, added more Hygrozyme and a dose of Tarantula tea. 24 hours later, PH is up the same. No sign of rot. RePHed and all is ok. Plants aren't blinking. Aroma is strong. Trichromes appeared last week and are everywhere, now! Little bundles of calyxes are all excited to pop out this coming week! Think this will be a 'beginners luck' grow. Trying to be diligent. I’m loving these yellow training clips I bought off Amazon. Super easy to attach and adjust. Seems to be less hard on the stems vs. the wire I’d been using. Starting to node out big time!
