Day 53 has broken for the ladies, and I am very pleased with their progress. The buds are visibly getting stronger every day. A few brown leaf tips appeared, but at this stage I don’t care much for them. Overall, they still look very much alive. Day 57: Uppermost leaves are curling up. Could be they are saturated with light and I should reduce the lighting period a bit, could be that the water drop installment provided them with a bit too much water, although they don’t show any more fresh signs of over-watering or fertilisation. But I had to remove water that flooded the bottom of the tank … I’ll reduce their lighting period to 14 hours. Rest of the ladies looks very healthy so I don’t want to stress them too much. It would be better to raise the left light a bit but I cannot. So, although the label says they would grow taller, I can be glad they did not gain more height. Day 58: Buds are really getting massive, and they started to smell a bit more. They even gained 1 cm and tallest bud is now at 89. It’s a very sweet but deep odour, really enjoyable. Lady #2, while being a bit smaller, looks like being in winter. Sugar leaves are enormous on her. I added a detail photo from timelapse video showing some of the curled and slightly burnt leaves. They are not many, and damage does not seem to progress. Anyway, ladies are already late in the game and I am rather surprised they still look very healthy.

11/25 - This is start of week 4 of life, week 2 of real veg (by my standards, anyways). Her color was a little light a few days ago, but the issue is resolving since I bumped her nutes up. I am using the schedule linked from GWE (https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Recirculating-Nutrient-Schedule-custom.jpg), but I also am using the additives provided by the Performance Pack and will be noting them on the weeks where they are used (RapidStart added at half-strength of GH Advanced Schedule; FloraBlend added at half-strength). She measures about 500 ppm (1.0ec) including ~200 ppm (0.4ec) for the tap value. She is holding pretty consistent res temp of 67-69F and gets ~10LPM of air in a 2"x4" can-style airstone. I always add Hydroguard since temps have been known to go over 72F in the res during certain parts of the year. She is growing noticeably every day and soon it will be time to top her and start her on LST. I'm not sure how high I want to go before leveling her off this time. True ScrOG would say as short as possible (3-6"), but I have the available height (6'). I am trying to get the maximum out of my lights since they are only JUST the right size for the flowering space I currently have (3'x3'), which is why I think using a ScrOG will be the most effective use of my setup. I do intend on moving her over to a 5 gallon bucket when I flip her to flower, but that will still leave me plenty of height to work with. I'm not sure if I will go with the soloScrOG like I am using in my Auto ladies, but likely something similar. Any questions or comments please feel free to drop a line. 12 weeks / 84 days old today. So my first grow journey is coming to an end! Not a lot to report this week. Been using my jewellers loupe daily to keep an eye on the trichomes and can definitely see a big difference. (Sorry, pictures are crap - don’t have enough hands to get a good one!) Still watering with plain water but they’re taking a lot less and only been watered every 4 days or so. Sticky orange has lots of cloudy trichomes and starting to get a few Amber. Her leaves are drying off so she is getting harvested before the weekend. Purple skunk is a bit behind so I think I will wait and see how she goes for another week or so. I always thought she’d be the one to finish first too. I think I will be drying in the garage. We are consistently getting 18 degrees outside now but with the temperature drops at night, I am not sure whether to bring the buds inside overnight. I’ll be drying in a hanging ‘herb’ dryer and I have my curing jars all labelled and ready to go. Thinking of wet trimming roughly then going in for a final dry trim later once dry to neaten them up. Drying advice welcome! I did think I’d have to harvest in stages and chop the lower buds later on. But even the bottom buds look like they’ve caught up this week. I have honestly enjoyed every second of this grow and I’m almost disappointed it’s nearly finished. But at the same time, I can not wait to see (and taste) the final result!

Die Woche lief sehr entspannt. Sie wachsen einfach kräftig vor sich hin. Ich habe sie nun in die Autopots verfrachtet und schaue Mal, wie sie diese annehmen. Ich bin erst weiter mit 1,5 EC gefahren, werden aber aufgrund des fehlenden Drains doch erstmal einen niedrigeren auf 1,3 benutzen und schauen, wie die Damen sich dadurch entwickeln . Die Damen entwickeln sich gut, sind mir aber etwas zu schlacksig. Die Stämme könnten etwas robuster sein, aber das kann auch dem Wetter geschuldet sein, und ich denke nicht , dass die Spritz eine klassische Outdoor Sorte ist, außer vielleicht für Spanien. Ich habe deshalb noch das Hesilico gekauft und ein wenig überdosiert ( 1ml pro l ) , um das Wachstum in der Streckung etwas zu dämpfen.

Week 9 (11/05 - 17/05) D57: - D58: - D59: added 0.5 ml of Calmag, 1.5 ml of Bio-grow, 3 ml of Bio-bloom and 1ml of Top-Max to 1 liter of tap water @ pH 6.2 D60: - D61: added 0.5 ml of Calmag, 1.5 ml of Bio-grow, 3 ml of Bio-bloom and 1ml of Top-Max to 1 liter of tap water @ pH 6.4 D62: - D63: -

Right so now I flushed the hell out of this lady and the runoff now is the exact same as what's going pretty much. Also I'm super happy to see the purples coming through and also the smell has changed drastically and started smelling more like Mimosa than it did pre-flush. Going to do one last flush now and leave it 2 or 3 days then leave her in the dark for 48 hours then cut her down!

Did one more molasses water 2 tsp molasses to 1 gal water then a final plain water ph 6.3 a couple days later. I think tomorrow is harvest day. I believe i wouldve gotten a better yield if i had the lights lower and or turned up higher. Also only 50% strength pk booster on autos from now on. Lessons learned hopefully next harvest is better.

All in all, as my 2nd grow of Cindy, I can't recommend it highly enough. Great stealth grow, had no filtration at all for the 1st grow & had a mild lawn / grapefruit hint, stronger when pruned or harvested. Your neighbours wouldn't know, if you care. It's a survivor, my 1st was too hot, too moist, wrong pot, over watered, pruned too often (until near bald of leaves). Had a total grow of 25wks, Veg stage 12wks (should've been less) First harvest @ 21wks & completely undeserved but gobsmacking harvest of... total bud wet just over 2kg (2053g) & Dry 14oz (399g) It was led (1200w) & hps (150w) grown & the new plant has behaved very differently under the cmh's. The 2nd stretched considerably, the first didn't but was probably permanently in shock. It'll be interesting to see how this one compares. Although, yet again, I let it get far far too big before putting it to flower so will selectively harvest in the hope of bulking some of the lower buds. Same smoking effect as the first but more temple numbing. It's a beautifully flavoured smoke, doesn't smell much & is grapefruitey. Very uplifting, happy, bordering on giggley. No couch lock at all & good function retained. There's a long lasting sedative / happy high after the initial whack wears off & surprisingly doesn't diminish overly in effect from tolerance. Amazing, incredible smell. Purple Red Sativa 😎🔥 is drying quickly due to cold temperatures and low humidity. Conserving that flavour 💯❤️🌈🔥

No problems thus far. Plants looking healthy and buds are really starting to fatten up now. One of the Dirty Kush Breath's is starting to purple up and they have a sweet berry smell. Sugar cane has a similar sweet smell but more of a citrus smell. Only half way thru flower.....can't wait to see how big these buds get!

Buds are starting to widen up, Looking nice and dense. Overall both look great.. Leaf tips started to burn a tiny bit so I backed light up couple inches. The C99 has about two weeks left. Everywhere I read it was 7 weeks to flower..Red Diesel still has like 3 to 4, I read around 9 weeks for that.. I’ll jus keep eye on tricomes.. But thank God everything is good ..

The second week of flowering, last bigger cut, I accidentally broke one of the smaller top ones 😔😤, the girl is doing well 👍 Day 63: the eighth week went without major changes, the girl shows no shortcomings and grows nicely.

Germination day! First time grower. For my first time grow I decided to try my luck with autoflowers. The reason why was due to grow time, as I am growing for personal use I would like to switch up my strains every grow. For this grow I have went for Auto Daiquiri Lime by Dutch Passion - US Genetics catalogue, & Auto Royal Cookies by Royal Queen Seeds. After countless months of research, YouTube videos, grow guides, forms and speaking with friends who grow. I decided I would try a hydro grow in rockwool & coco. Day 1 plan: -1.5" rockwool cube x2 - ph'd to 5.5 - Rockwool cube placed inside of zip locked baggy (to help regulate humidity and keep rockwool damp) - Bagged rockwool place inside propagator - Hygrometer placed inside propagator to monitor temperature & humidity - Propagator placed on seeed heat mat inside grow tent. - Mars hydro 300W L.E.D placed 12" above propagator I hooked up my 360 camera so that I could monitor the temperature with ease from my phone and not have to constantly climb into my roof space. Next steps in 2-3 days time I will hopefully see signs of life and I will start to regulated my seedlings to the transition from propagator to grow tent environment. By day 4-5 I will transplant into a 4" rockwool cube. Stay tuned guys and watch me learn.
