Removed ScrOg, I’m too ocd and damaged two colas. Two weeks was enough to space. Wish I put it on two weeks earlier. Currently removing flarf sites.

Mixed week it's growing a bit and I am giving it food now . I was told call mag is a must so I've grabbed some of that . Yesterday I took it out to water and it fell over, it got bent and I could see roots pulled up ,I pushed back the soil and straighten the trunk been reading up on it hopefully it'll be ok I kinda think it looks uneven now ? Fingers crossed . .

Hopefully she doesn't stretch too much more. She's getting close to the light. I really need to get in there and clean up the underbrush and everythinh

The week starts Monday, Dec-9 in vegetative stage. Started lowering the distance from the light to 45cm (18") over the coming week. The extraction fan on its lowest setting is too strong for the current growth environment so the humidity levels have been rather low (35% -> 50%). An attempt to stop/start the fan with 30min intervals caused both temp and humidity levels to swing wildly. The environment inside the tent is now stable, albeit low temp and humidity levels since the fan has been left to run continuously. Added a large tray of water with an aquarium heater warming it to raise the humidity level inside the grow tent. And added a large hanging wet towel. Both methods helped. The plant is recovering very well and stretching in its growth. The side branches are reaching out to the light. Starting to increase the frequency of fertigation to daily as the plant seems to be sucking up water/nutrients well. Run-off was measured at EC 0.94 and pH 6.2. Topping at 5th node - start of LBH’s Famous ScrOG Tutorial. Cut the stem above the 4th node. The topping should probably have been done a few days ago but I wanted to see the plant recover first.

Flowering day 59 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The lady is slowly coming to an end 😍. The buds start to swell extremely . The trichomes mature day by day. This week she was given a very light flush with Clean Fruits so that she can use up her remaining nutrients in the coming days 👍. It will be harvested in the next 6-10 days 😍. Some of the leaves have been starting to yellow indicating that the plants are now needing a little more feed and are getting towards the end of their life cycle! The smell of the gelato x gmo is overwhelming when I first approach the plants, and the blueberry x mother of Berry is a more subtle sweet/fruity smell.

Week 4 day 26F and they are starting to look the way i like , the canopy is full enough and the girls are pumping nice airs to what looks like is gona bi great bud, but I don’t like to speak before things happen hehehe for now the Tropicanas still looking way better than the chocolates ones, but in the end the final product will have the final saying 😁 they are drinking 4,5 L water every day, divided in 3 times, 1st after 2H ligth, 2nd is 2H after and the last after 2H were they reach run out and dry from there until next day. I do the ocasional one day in between to dry out the roots and induce some low stress to help tricomes production, in the end thats going to b the most important factor in my final decision. This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Aug 10: Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is doing great. Three weeks now moving her into the garage which is enough, and now I can just leave her in the yard which is easier and scores another couple hours of sunlight per day. Nice solid start to flowering, and I like the schedule used this year for the force flowering. This strain is delivering on the promise of being big and fast. Bright sunny day and I’ve got the UV lights on. About five hours today with the UV lights at mid-day. Buds are looking really good. The bud development after 3 weeks is amazing. The buds got visibly much fatter just today. Compared to some fast plants in previous years, this one is about 2-3 weeks ahead. Very well suited to short season outdoor growing, but partially due to full darkness in the garage rather than just phyto-forcing with the far red light as I did last year. I’m still using the far red light, but putting them in the garage provides more darkness and helps get strong flowering started. Aug 12: nice fat buds forming quickly, gotta like that. Aug 14: fast, fast, fast. Flowers are progressing quickly. Added three tablespoons of a 50:50 mix of Power Bloom and malted barley. Added as top dressing and then watered in. Aug 16: cool, overcast all day, a bit of rain and smoky so not a nice mid-August day. Rain should help but out some fires in northeast BC, Yukon, and northwest Alberta. maybe. From day 24 preparing for flower I guess

Day 35 Flowering: A great week for bud growth this week. Sadly only on the Amnesia Haze with the Red hot cookie and the Afghani Delicious ambling along beside her. They will be a smoke able end but not worthy of the strain due to their issues early on. The buds have been thickening out on the Amnesias stems perfectly , she has approx 20 good, lengthy mains that are producing new pistils daily in abundance. It is a pressure to watch her fattening out andnher smellnis so sweet now too. A definite fruit with a lemon twist to it. The l.o.s has struggled to keep up with her huge feed demands and I am now using megacrop to feed her. Her leaves are starting to show a darker green re appearing now so should keep her energy flowing until the finish. she is getting a lot of trichrome production going now and has a nice frosty appearance forming too. I love this strain so far and it has been a pleasure to grow. She is starting to really push the terpenes out too and smells so sweet with a lemon twist to her. A nice tacky feel when she is handled shows she is putting oils out too now. With approx 3 weeks to run , she should beba beauty at her finish. Be Safe amd well.
