Pics show 1.5 weeks from last post. Really wish I could flip her into flower but still can't. I think she is begging to be flipped. So many pre-flowers. Wonder if pre-flowers in Vegg can get pollinated? This thing might get too big before I can flip. Still growing so fast. Probably because I'm focusing all growth to the mainlined stems. Which are so tall now. Most all leaves are dark. Going to start backing off the nitrogen (FF Grow Big) Also seeing tip burn, as well as edge burn on the leaves. Definitely over feed. The soil is probably caked with salt by now. Stress techniques - - Still super cropping all nodes every other day. See image on how big some of these knots get. All stems are super thick and hefty. Which was a goal of mine. - Defoliation every other day. Taking leaves and new nodes off. Definitely think doing this almost every day is the worst stress its dealing with. - Branch squeezing/tie down. Still noticing heavy scaring or buildup where I have it tied down at the base. Will keep it there to keep seeing what happens. All stems/branches around it have hardened. Also noticing red/purple streaks in areas. Wouldn't say it's the healthiest plant but it sure is a sturdy fast growing one.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

As of day 28, the NYC Diesel is growing vigorously and seems healthy. The post LST branching I was hoping for a week ago has occured so I am happy with the width and evenness of the canopy as well. I am regularly removing and tucking foliage which is helping with how dense this plant is (lots of branching with minimal internodal spacing). I feel like it is on the cusp of flowering, so I am preparing to change up the nutrients over the next week. I will continue with the LST if there continues to be quite a bit of stretch. Day 29: Switched to GH Flora for nutrients. Starting low and will dial it up. Thanks for reading!

Hallo meine Garten Freunde. Ich heiße euch herzlich willkommen zum Ende von diesem Grow, ich bin mit der Qualität der Blüten äußerst zufrieden. Dieser Strain hat mich vollstes überzeugt, ich bin sehr begeistert von der Resistenz gegenüber den Schädlingsbefall oder im allgemeinen. Man kann ruhig ein zwei Tage mit dem Gießen im Verzug sein ohne das dieser Strain dir das gleich Übel nimmt. Diese Sorte ist auch nicht so anfällig für über Gießen oder über und unter Düngung. Ich habe in der Mitte der Blüte ein kleines Problem mit Frassflügler ( Triepse ) gehabt, da für kurze Zeit mein Lüfter ausgefallen ist, den Befall hat sie ohne weiteres weggesteckt, ohne jegliche Anzeichen für Probleme. Die Buds haben sich sehr vielversprechend entwickelt und haben einen süßlich tropischen Geruch im Raum verströmt. Wo drüber ich am meisten gestaunt habe war dass man diesen Strain Trainieren kann egal ob topping oder HST das haben die Damen gut weggesteckt. Das einzige was man beachten sollte wenn man die Pflanzen toppt ist, dass man mit einer längeren Anbau Zeit rechnen muss. Von insgesamt 5 sind 5 Seeds gekeimt, leider habe ich ein Sämling verloren. Ansonsten haben sich alle Pflanzen so entwickelt wie ich es mir gedacht habe. Der Ertrag hätte größer ausfallen können, dann hätte ich aber auch größere Töpfe nehmen müssen, und das konnte ich zu dieser Zeit leider nicht. Die Medusa #1 braucht noch einwenig länger. Also meine Freunde wär eine schnelle Sorte sucht, dem kann ich diesen Strain ans Herz legen. Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de vida de estas Lemon cherry Runtz de FastBuds. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. Todavía estamos en el ciclo 16 horas luz, 8 oscuridad, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también, el color es verde sano. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta hacen sus funciones. What a slow grower, was the first to form budlets but now the slowest to mature. No real distinctive smell with her yet but some trichome growth was noticed. Removed a few lower fan leaves to allow light to penetrate. Should be a decent yield considering the time she's had to grow.

Planta hermosa, por problemas de respaldo no tengo sus fotos finales y es una pena :( pero puedo decirles que es una planta que rinde bien, entrega frutos de calidad y no es para nada exigente.

Empezamos a darle el OVERDRIVE así que en esta semana vamos a engordar un poco. Igual le voy a hacer en estos días una poda selectiva de hojas porque está muy verde, igual le saco un beneficio. Muy vigorosas las ramas laterales, un olor potente y mucho potencial por sacarle. Estoy muy entusiasmado. Un abrazo gente ya les mandaré los adelantos.

Smells on this bud are amazing! Very piney with hints of berries 😋 Not the biggest harvest, but that was expected seeing as this plant was grown in a 1 gal pot. None the less, I am happy with the results 😁

Week 1 results

Week 9 is coming to an end and it's almost time to harvest. At this point the plants are really loud. I dimmed the light and will probably harvest during week 10. At this point I won't water the plants any more.

Transplanted to her final pot this week, I covered the stem up till the cotyledons. Mixed in 75 grams of Monster Bud Mix from Zamnesia and upped the nutes. Fixed the timelapse schedule as well.

Another good week for these plants. They all seem very happy and they have started to focus more on bulking up the flowers. They are starting to smell amazing and I'm getting anxious to see these flowers develop over the next few weeks.
