Week 2 of Bloom

Seeds Genetics provided me this Strain to make a Growers Diary. This is the first time I'm growing a Durban sativa strain. Got 9 seeds from the 10. Can happen. Hallo Growmies, Welcome everyone to the third week of the trip to Japan. This week the adventures started and we still have a bumpy road ahead of us before we reach the final destination. After we changed the nutrient solution she definitely seemed more happier .💦 So decided to start with the trainings, on Day 25 topped her and right after started with LST. I expect her to recover quickly from the early stress and start growing strong in the next 2 weeks. 🌱 On day 27 took off 4 big fan leaves. Till day 29 we continued tying the branches and checked and corrected the PH daily. Let the branches up for 2 days to regenerate then we tied them again. PPFD is around 600. Will keep this until the end of the veg period. Everything is going well but there was something to worry about again. I started giving powder silicate to the mix and left a gap between the net pot and the water. In the second day checked the root and noticed that silicate deposited in clumps on the part of the root which is between the net pot and the water. Luckily could wash it off with a shower. I transplant to 1 gl pot for veg feed with clonex root solution the rest is RO water with PH adjusted 6.3-6.5 The soil is from the previous grow but it's re amendment and set for a month before use

White Widow is looking very good. Nice bud site development coming along. I backed down a little on the Recharge this week, but still giving twice the suggested amount. Also still giving her Mammoth P. Will start with MegaCrop (Greenleaf) nutrients later this week. 👍

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Going really well moved lights up so still sitting 18" above highest point and keep LSTing, tucking and defoliating regularly she looks good... I Think.

This strain has been wonderful from jump 👏 all seed made it and all came out looking gorgeous with a very tropical berry smell to them the taste I get from them is tropical although most turned purple in the end after hanging them up I could see a red tint to some of the buds 😁 but the purple kinda took over its fun growing with diaries and can't to get my next strain 8n the grow and share with grow diaries

A great week. Nothing at all to do except enjoy them. Lots of growth, been on a 12/12 for a week now and showing signs of preflower. Great plant to grow I recommend her to begginer like myself🤪. She is easy if you get her environment right. Thanks for stopping by. Grow well 🌿🌱🌿 Stay safe😷😷

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Update this is the 5th week in veg. I had trim everything from below and want to keep top of the canopy last week as well topped the 2nd time. The 6 main colas goes to 12 and after the 2nd topped now 24 main colas(I didn’t do the side branches)… I am going to let it veg out until week 6 or 8 depemdinf on the bounce back.

5/11 - 5/17: I topped a couple shoots early in the week and have her in full LST submission..sprawling nicely.👌 I watered her once really well at the start of the week with endoboost, humic acid, silica, cal-mag, molasses, and big bloom...and a little bit of grow big. I foliar fed with boom boom spray one day, and a solution of fulvic acid, cal-mag, big bloom, sweet & sticky, and silica a few days. It rained really heavy on the night of the 15th, so I won't be watering again anytime soon. I topped another of her shoots on the 14th and about an hour later, I realized that I should have taken it as a cutting..I'll have enough soil for a few plants in 3 gallon pots, and from what everybody says, I'd be very happy with some more jars of #5. I spent all 3 seeds to grow this one plant, so I'll try rooting some clones of her soon...👈 This week I received my new portable outdoor misting fan and hoses and got it set up on a timer with just airflow while the lights are on, and once the temps reach about 95f regularly, I'll have my hose timer let 10 minutes of water every 2 hours get misted across the canopy. It should lower the "real feel" by about 25-30 degrees and increase RH considerably. Also hoping that the constant airflow will make them stronger and keep insects off of them somewhat. It will also enable me to easily give them a blow dry if it rains in late flower. But wait...that's not all....it's also gonna be very much more enjoyable for me to sit in the garden and do my thang. 👍

Finally got the humidity under control — turns out the issue was in the lung room. I gotta vent during the day to fight off the heat and keep it closed at night. Other than that, she’s starting to bulk up nicely and getting real sticky. Did a bit of defoliation too.
