First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

Welcome to week 10 / Flowering week 4 🌱✨ The ladies are developing well. The blumat system is running but still needs adjustment. I did some more defoliation and sometimes water them by hand if they get too dry. I got the main colas out of the hotspot of the lamp. Also I reduced nutrients to half the amount since I switched to constant watering with the blumat system. Happy growing 🧙‍♂️

- WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). Tag 70 : Die Triple G ist mein Sorgenkind. Die Gute hat sich ordentlich gestreckt 😱 Die Lampe hängt schon auf Anschlag 😨 Somit ergibt sich ein Lampenabstand von 20cm - 30cm. Ich hoffe das alles gut geht 😬 Die Pflanze hat nur wenig Blüten, aber ist unglaublich durstig, lässt sich aber nur schwerlich gießen. Tag 72: Mit erschrecken musste heute feststellen das ersten Blätter in der Mitte schon gelb werden😱 Es ist mir durch viel bastelarbeit gelungen den Lampenabstand wieder auf 30cm statt wie vorher auf 25cm zu bringen😃 Der Filter jetzt zwar ziemlich dicht an der Decke, aber was solls 😁

Any pointers and tips would be greatly appreciated👏 Soo the girls are doing great done a little lst and neem oil applied last night for pest prevention I wanted to bend down their main stems and do a little hst but unfortunately their main stemsare waaaay to thick for it, I'll add some pics later Ok and as for feeding we are following the advanced nutrients feeding schedule I have measured EC and PPM this time but i need to go find my notes will add it into this weeks diary Ok that's it for now I've got another time lapse running so I'll add that one later today too!

A lot happened this week but she seems to be recovering and not worsening. I fed plain ph’d water end of last week but got a little too cavalier with too much top feeding and adding stuff without adjusting ph. All the top feeding is how debris and runoff kept getting into the base and mucking it up. I was out of homemade calmag so I had a bottle coming in the mail. I ended up adding calmag to not a lot of water and not ph’ing it and top feeding/pouring rest into the watering base later in the day after adding plain ph’d water. Wrong move. She appeared to slow down drinking but I chalked it up to a full base and plenty of top feed. Topsoil dried out very fast but I let her sit assuming she would start drinking eventually. This continued for 3-4 days, and also was happening to one of the photos I did the same thing to. Starting smelling something rank around this time so I checked the bases and found what is in pics 9+10. Ph was 8.5 and had this brown chunky film all over!! Took out all 3 bases and scrubbed thoroughly with soap and water and rinsed with some vinegar. I was worried about how dry and hard the soil/roots must be but I also didn’t want to do a full flush so close to her finishing. I opted to put 1/2 strength tiger bloom/big bloom and full strength calmag into full 1.8 gal water can ph’d to 6.5 and top feed slowly over ~20 min so it didn’t just rinse everything out. About 20% runoff which tested at 5.8 which seemed a little low but not as terrible as I feared. Cleaned the base back out after no more runoff and refilled with normal strength tiger bloom and calmag, ph’d to 6.5. This seems to have been the right move, 60 hours after flushing/cleaning/refilling, she has drank 75% of the base and topsoil is also not dried out. But we’re not done!!! The 2 photos also got a clean base and proper refill. The next day I checked the bases and found some insects on top of the water in ALL 3 bases shown in the last 2 pics. Teeny white things that kinda jumped on top of the water and seemed to stay underneath the fill port to get some of the light coming through? Hard to identify but I think they might have been springtails and not something destructive. Either way I made a weak vinegar/water solution and sprayed them aggressively over 24 hours and they seemed to die and not return. Only saw them in the bases and not anywhere on the plant. A lot of the leaf tip curling and spots spread from last week but seems to be contained and not worsening at the time of writing this. It seems contained to the top ~30% of the fan leaves and minimally on sugar leaves. While her buds did grow and thicken, I’m sure this set her back a little. All in all she had the water ph imbalance, definitely some light stress, nute burn and a little potassium deficiency. Got a little cheap digital microscope as well, trichomes still maturing with at least 30% still clear, plenty of white pistils as well. Some purple coming in on sugar leaf tips. Smell is much stronger. Idk if this is indicative of the buds as well or the “right way” but if I remove any small fan leaves I swipe the stem between two fingers to smell the oils. Still giving a very strong funky citrus scent with an earthy finish. Flipped lights to 12/12 for the photos at the end of the week. I just couldn’t wait any longer with how big the photos are. It also didn’t help that when I adjusted the light for the mimosa and moved it to the middle, the photos were getting much less and resulted in them stretching a lot with too much internode spacing. Not the end of the world but supercropping is definitely in their future.

Defoliation. Took 2 small branches of Lexx and some more of Stanley. Lexx and Kai are very similar. Zev is a little bit "lighter". Stanley is smaller with more branches. Well, I don't have the best access to Stan. Canopy is not perfect but more or less even. Not too good visible with lights on, but they are slighty too green for my taste.. also fine. Still got some height left to adjust. Final distance to lamp will be 35 cm, so they can grow a little - then I'll keep distance, still 15-20 cm left to raise the lamp. But I think stretch is more or less over. Wattage 200W until BW 6-7 (😂😂😂😂). El ph, la humedad y la temperatura son correctos, zambezaseeds está haciendo muy buen trabajo con sus variedades gente, os lo aseguro que ya son varios los cultivos con ellos. Week 9 marks a turning point for the grow. The main plants are deep into flower now, with dense buds that glisten under the HPS light. Their smell is intoxicating, filling the room with the rich, sweet aroma that hints at the potency to come. Even the late bloomer has stepped up its game. While it’s still behind the others, it’s finally entering full flower, its smaller buds beginning to form. It’s got a unique charm, and I can’t help but root for it—sometimes the underdog ends up stealing the show. The grow room feels like it’s nearing its peak. The plants are massive now, with thick branches bending under the weight of their buds. Every day brings new changes, and I can see the finish line getting closer. The hard work is paying off, and I can’t wait to see how these beauties turn out in the final weeks.

Overall pretty happy with the grow, had a little mold issues but humidity was way to high for a while.

Day 56 Flower — final update before chop. This’ll be the last live update for this run — I’m planning to cut next week and will drop a proper harvest post once everything’s dry and weighed. Gotta say I’m stoked: buds are looking sick, smells are off the charts and after 8 years I can’t wait to finally burn my own harvest. Quick real-talk: biggest headache this run was the night humidity (box was sitting in a wet cold garage — nights were brutal). I ordered the Spider Farmer heater ages ago expecting it to sort that, but shipping got messed up and it never showed on time. If I didn’t already have their inline fan and controller I probably would’ve cancelled and gone another route. Still — despite the rough nights the plants pulled through and the colors/terps turned out gorgeous. Lights/Setup note (what I saw): LED for veg worked great — compact, short internodes, dense canopy. HPS gave the flower its extra stretch and way denser colas — difference was obvious in top size and nug density. Next round I’ll run veg under LED and flip flower to HPS for that chunky, heavy bud structure. General impressions & vibes: Resin city. Most tops are sticky and frosty as hell — touch a cola and your fingers get that gooey, sweet grime immediately. Colours are stunning: purples, bronzes and deep greens — especially on the kush phenos. Cold nights helped bring that out even though they stressed the tent a bit. Canopy filled nicely — lots of even colas across the screen. Smell is absolutely lovely: sweet, cake-y, kushy funk depending on the corner. Strain-by-strain notes (photos + what I noticed) Wedding Cake Portland — sweetest, creamiest nose. Tops are tight and resinous with nice amber pistils coming through. Made some of the chunkiest, most fragrant flowers in the tent. Beautiful frost. Kush Crasher — most frosty of the bunch. Leaves and buds look like they were powdered with sugar. Strong kush terp profile, darker leaves. Real eye-catcher. AK-47 — classic structure, reliable resin and nice citrus/earthy notes. Good mid-bud density, chunky and fragrant. Very consistent. Double Krush — leaner colas but loaded with crystals. Has that layered aroma profile — kush backbone with sweet overtones. Looks like it’ll smoke quite smooth. Wappa — star of the show for me. Fat main colas, gorgeous purple bronzing and a sticky, punchy aroma. Dense, hard buds that scream quality. If there’s a top-shelf winner in this round, it’s Wappa — chunky, potent and beautiful. Big shout: Wappa brought the goods. Detroit Runtz — sweet and fruity, bag appeal for days. Colas are a touch lighter but super sparkly and smelly, classic runtz vibes. Run summary / final thoughts I made mistakes (low nights + humidity were a pain), but overall the plants handled it — produced crazy-looking, fragrant, sticky flowers. I flushed with plain water the last week and let the plants finish their thing. Next run I’ll tweak light strategy (veg LED, flower HPS) and sort the heat/humidity earlier so I’m not battling the box at critical weeks. Big ups to the girls — they pulled through and rewarded me with proper frosty buds. Also big frowny face to Spider Farmer for the late heater delivery — if you’re reading this, sort the logistics — shipping delays hurt growers (I’d been waiting since mid-November).
