Tequila Sunrise - Week 7: Slug Attack! But This Señorita's a Fighter ¡Ay caramba! This week with Tequila Sunrise has been a real telenovela, growmies! Just when I thought things were heating up with the flowering fiesta, WHAM! Enter the evil-doers, the nefarious villains... the SLUGS! Seriously, folks, when I saw my little señorita on Friday, I swear I could've cried. Those slimy devils had gone to town, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Leaves munched, flower parts devoured - it was a scene straight out of a horror movie! To add insult to injury, I unearthed a whole gang of the culprits - nine fat, brown slugs of all sizes chilling in the soil. The audacity! But here's the thing: Tequila Sunrise ain't going down without a fight! In a stroke of genius (or maybe just desperation), I decided to elevate her to a plastic chair throne. Apparently, slugs are like nightclub bouncers - they don't like high places (gettit?! ;). And guess what? It worked! The next two nights, not a single slimy visitor dared to approach. Victory, at least for now! Despite the slug buffet, Tequila Sunrise even managed to pull off a respectable 10cm growth spurt this week. This girl's a fighter, that's for sure. Weeds are called weeds for a reason, right? They're tough as nails, and Tequila Sunrise is no exception. So, here's the plan, amigos: let's send some good vibes this señorita's way. With a little luck and some continued anti-slug warfare, she might just bounce back from this brutal attack and still deliver a decent harvest. We believe in you, Tequila Sunrise! This is week 2

2 of plants started fading a little I feed them with compost tea and organic nutrients of biobizz I want to test something on one of my plants. Light Compost tea 2 times a week I fed them compost tea once a week from early veg until now and there is no sign of nutrients burning its 33 degrees celsius they need watering everyda

Semana 7 El Scrog comienza a tomar forma y las plantas comienzan a tener un verde mas natural , las plantas reaccionaron bastante bien al apical dándonos un estres de tan solo 3 dias emos aplicado bud fuel 10 días antes de la flora y ahora ultimo se lo aplicamos de manera foliar se a regado con una EC de 800-1200 y un pH de 6,3-6.5 tambien resolvimos la problematica de los hongos con agua oxigenada

Been another week of crazy stretch for the sugar cane and apple sundae. Been supercropping several branches because they have maxed out my light height at over 4 ft tall. The slurricanes are looking much more manageable and it looks like the stretch is about over on all of them. I switched them over to maxibloom and added a little liquid koolbloom and Beastie blooms to start feeding those flowers. The room is definitely filled up now. just have to keep the juice pumping and see what they do.

Está gran variedad ya esta en su 7° semana, y su 4° de floración donde esta desarrollando buenas puntas pero poca resina. Hemos aplicado a la nutricion anterior, top candy para el engorde de esos cogollos 💪

Hello let's call this first week of flower, she started to smell a little bit, also startet stretching, very strong plant! Have some Phosphorus deficiency (curled discolored leaves, yellow leaf tips) so i'm feeding half dose of Big Buds from Advanced Nutrients (NPK 0,1,3), let's see how she reacts. Day 30 TRYING TO FIX PROBLEMS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE: Magnesium deficiency - yellowing between leaf veins. Phosphorus deficiency - curled leaves, yellow leave tips( nutrient deficiency overall) slow growth. Calcium deficiency - small rusted dots on the middle aged leaves. Ph was kinda high 7.1 Fix the problem: I've added 1.5ml/l Calmag 0.1.3 NPK 1ml/l Big buds which will give plant its nuteients. And water PH 5.5 to lower overall soil PH. I think she will bounce back in a few days! Day 34 and we are back on the track! She's been recovering and stretching very well, soil PH is 6.6 for now Day 35 end of frist week of flower, 10cm stretch in 7 days.

The second week wasn't too problematic for Super Skunk #1. The seedling is steadily growing and I went forward with only feeding it distilled water. I recently came across some growing information and heard about the magic of bokashi so I figured I would incorporate it into my grow this time around to see the effects. I also decided that based on my experience last grow, I would switch over to a more kelp based nutrient during flower. What I came to realize (amongst other things) was that I had most likely underfed my plants during flower, and although my "no bottled nutrients" challenge got me through veg. without a problem, it appeared that my plants could have used a bit of a boost during flower. This time around I plan on sticking to: -rice water -coconut water -banana peel water -onion/garlic peel water during veg. and once I decide to flip to flower I will go back to using my trusty Green Plant "Medi-one" bottled organic nutrients. *the second plant that I replanted is looking pretty strange so I'm thinking I might need to germinate another seed*😑

Only running 1 Thin Mint x Cookies + Cream its front left in the tent, great internodal spacing came highly recommended. Switching to Bloom nutrients, two part Cropsalt. Irrigation frequency will be adjusted as flower development drastically increases over the next two weeks.

Off to the races after the first week of veg. And the girls are looking good. They had about 24-48 hours of transplant shock but have since turned over and look perky. They never fully transitioned and all of em look like they’re turning back around. Definitely starting to see some pheno variation on one of the indicas (F6) - trademark from the Skywalker 100%. A light bluish/purpleish hue on the fan leaves. We’ll see what happens over the next week then probably just pick a day and flip. We don’t need em huge - just big enough to show off dem buds. On the hardware side of this grow, the mods to the dutchy system look to be working well. It just makes plant management easier with a full trough drain as opposed to individual drainage holes. Really, the system isn’t a concern for the most part. It’s proven time and time again how manageable a recirc system can truly be. Scaling down to smaller pots and more plants has also been a revelation of sorts around here. We used to grow monsters and now the aim is strictly proportional yields across a wider array of genetics. Been a great trip so far🤟. Couple more boring weeks of veg. And as soon as the breeding tent is cleaned up and pollen free - it’s go for blast-off👍. Background This cycle of clones represents all the potential of this F1 line of WalkerBerry OG. Bred by myself over the last couple of years. This genetic shows excellent hybrid vigour, incredibly stable nutrition requirements to date and an eclectic mix of long and short internodal spacing bu specimen. We know we have indica and sativa dominant traits spread evenly across the 6 available clones. Now it’s just a matter of seeing them run out under controlled and pollen free conditions. We’ve labelled each plant and it’s resulting seed accordingly. Once we get to the F2 run, we’ll hopefully be able to isolate down to 2-3 phenos if the bud is any good. From there, who knows. It’d be great to get to a finished, stable generation that would be fem worthy but that could be a very long way off. For now - we’ll focus on this line and see where it goes🤞🤞.

A week full of events, one of the main branches broke, thank god so late in flower and during flush. It also gave me a rough idea of the harvest, that single branch made quite a good amount of weight but see yourself in the video.
