Week 24 January - 30 January

So this was my first grow, way back in 2013. Literally a seed I placed in the ground, hidden behind my water tank and the fucker went out of control. Not too sure if it was taken at 24 weeks, all I know is this plant lived a full life. I had to tie her down about half way into the grow as she was just getting too damn big. Fertiliser? Well nothing but seasol and power feed was used. Virtually no love at all was given to this plant, everything was kept simple. More smoke than I could handle from this crop anyhow, so many ounce bags of weed were given away to many happy mates. Still took a couple of years to vape my way through what I kept. I vacuumed sealed and place in my dedicated dope fridge to ensure longevity. Seriously a top notch smoke, the taste was amazing, the stoned even better. I can only dream that my current outdoor grow will get to this size, but being in a pot it will be restricted for sure but still bountiful. How bountiful is yet to be seen. Check it out if u have the time. Seeing the size of this and my current plant, has made me decide that I will no longer bother with autoseeds. The reward just isn't there I will post harvest videos as well...marijuana porn is what I like to call them 🤣

It’s day 27 from seed for all the plants in the photo sea of green. Let’s call it the battle of the strains summer 2025. All of the plants are starting to have visible differences. I’m already starting to tell witch plants are more sensitive than others.

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! I’m not 100% done collecting all the data. By the smell of it, this plant will be one of the dankest plants I’ve ever grown. More to come. Tuesday, September 5 I have the nugs in jars right now. Hopefully I didn’t let it dry too much. Right now the humidity is at around 52% but I think if I move the jar around a bit I can them to sweat a bit more.

And here we are at the end of this magnificent journey on the spaceship Black Orchid Automatic, a phenomenal strain from Zamnesia, it is the last beauty harvested more or less at the same time as the others but shown separately for the amount of important photos that I am taking. Please take a look at the macros (micro) and let me know what you think. This week I'm talking about the harvest of the third and last lady, the purple one, very purple to be clear. She grew a lot, she matured quite quickly and produced a lot of resin. The flowers are quite hard and of a wonderfully wonderful color. The smell is very particular probably from the purple / cookies / cake area but the strong point of this beauty are the trichomes. The girl offers a park of trichomes of a disarming beauty, the more I shot the more I wanted to shoot, I was left speechless for real. We have purple stuff in the stem, purple noba in the gland, totally purple stuff in the stem with amber gland, glands in various shades of purple. Wonder for real. There is still something transparent but it had to come venia, like animals feel earthquakes I start to feel the mold in advance, or maybe I'm paranoid, anyway we are mostly cloudy, something amber and a thousand shades of purple and something even transparent. For me it's fine like this baby. Harvest time, in the drying room. I strongly recommend you to try this strain both in the feminized version and this one in the photoperiod version, if this plant doesn't convince you wait to see the next two that I will publish in the next two weeks but they have already been harvested. The taste is still CALI in sense of purple part of cookies family. We feel like we're teleporting to Los Angeles with Snoop making a blunt, incredible California flavor, to be clear in a coffee shop in Amsterdam you would pay 25 to 30 euros per gram. Everything has always been grown with Plagron Pro Mix soil which I found exceptional, I was used to using Light Mix but I had probably underestimated the power and cleanliness of going 100% organic. It has an absorption coefficient that I find very pleasant, it dries with less aggressiveness than the light mix so you will not have that phenomenon that when the plant is too dry the water goes down. With this soil it is more difficult as it is more difficult to have midges. In my MODEST opinion pre-fertilized are fertile ground for ground midges with this soil I have had ZERO GNATS, before ever. This is the start of week 9 and she is doing GREAT!! Pistols are turning nice and pretty 😍! Buds are fattening nicely, and the thing im most proud of, no sighs of defiency!! She is a very good plant to grow. And is going to give me some very nice smoke!!

Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed
